  1. A Marvel themed GWP would be awesome. I could see a micro scale Asgard (with the palace, rainbow bridge, Bifrost, etc) at roughly the same piece count as past Star Wars GWPs for May the 4th. What would you guys like to see if a Marvel GWP did happen this year? An exclusive minifigure? A small vignette of something? A micro scale build?
  2. Hopefully all the interior details we see in Infinity War/Endgame. As in, seating for all the Guardians, the table they lay Thor on and access to the pod which detaches from the main ship.
  3. Complete with a red light brick for the darkroom. Does anyone else think the Bugle won’t be the only building included in the set? A $300 office building just doesn’t sound very exciting on its own.
  4. Yeah I’m hoping Lego goes all out for the D2C to make the definitive comics-based Spider-Man minifigure. Arm-printing, dual moulded legs with printing, etc.
  5. My ultimate wish for the D2C: The set is comprised of 2 buildings on 32x16 baseplates that connect to each other like the Creator Expert Bookshop. The first building is the Daily Bugle, a three storey tan coloured structure with an assortment of television screens on the facade and 'DBC' in crimson brick-bulit lettering at the top. The second building is Oscorp Tower, a thinner five storey structure in mostly grey with the word 'OSCORP' on the facade, either as a sticker or brick-built vertically. Both buildings have various points where minifigures can be attached on the outside. THE DAILY BUGLE: Ground Floor: A small reception area for Betty Brant and staircase leading to the next floor. First Floor: Two office cubicles for Peter Parker/Eddie Brock and staircase leading to the next floor. Second Floor: Office for J. Jonah Jameson. OSCORP TOWER: Ground Floor: Security entrance area with access to an elevator that extends up the building and can be manually operated by humans on the outside. First Floor: Lab for Dr. Otto Octavius including space to hang up his mechanical arms and a transparent container for the Venom Symbiote. Second Floor: Lab for Dr. Michael Morbius including various bats in containers, vials, instruments, etc. Third Floor: Lab for Dr. Curt Connors including various lizards in containers, instruments, etc. Fourth Floor: Office for Norman Osborn with a secret Green Goblin area containing pumpkin bombs and the glider. MINIFIGURE SELECTION: The set contains sixteen minifigures with a strong emphasis on super villains and their alter egos. It also signifies the first time the Sinister Six comes in a single set. The minifigures included are: 1. Spider-Man 2. Peter Parker 3. Betty Brant 4. J. Jonah Jameson 5. Eddie Brock 6. Venom 7. Doctor Octopus 8. Dr. Michael Morbius 9. Morbius, the Living Vampire 10. Dr. Curt Connors 11. Lizard 12. Norman Osborn 13. Green Goblin 14. Electro 15. Daredevil 16. The Punisher Never going to happen but dare to dream.
  6. I think Lego will just commit to one or the other.
  7. What if the CMF series is just all the different Iron Man suits from the MCU that Lego hasn’t made yet?
  8. True the MCU is extremely popular, just personally hoping for a comics based one.
  9. Yeah, just wishful thinking. I still think the CMF series will be comics based due to what we saw for the DC series and the amount of love the MCU is already getting through sets this year.
  10. Imagine if the CMF series is all Spider-Man related villains/supporting characters to complement the Daily Bugle D2C. Kind of like how Lego released a Disney CMF series alongside the Disney Castle in 2016.
  11. Hopefully we get a version of the Sinister Six in the set that includes Venom. Fingers crossed for comic variants of Electro and Lizard. Personally, I’m not sold on the Punisher rumour until I see it in the set. Daredevil maybe but Punisher seems way too violent for Lego to do.
  12. Ninjago and HP only have golden figures because of the 10th and 20th anniversary of those themes respectively. If we get golden variants of Marvel minifigures, it won’t be until next year. Also, are we sure the CMF is MCU based? With all the love Lego is giving to the MCU through sets this year, a comic based CMF series similar to the DC one seems more appropriate.
  13. OMG SHREK LEGO?! Also Andrew Garfield’s stunt double was photographed on the No Way Home set. Multiple Spider-Men minifigures on the way?
  14. I though Fulcrum just posted a photo of Daredevil/Punisher without explicitly saying they are in the D2C? Also, FF hasn’t directly said where they are coming. You may be right but I don’t think there is a clear confirmation yet.
  15. Right, thanks for the clarification. Where was it confirmed that Punisher and Daredevil are coming in the D2C?
  16. Is the CMF actually confirmed to be MCU based or is it still speculation at this stage?
  17. Oh was it confirmed to be releasing in May or is that just speculation? You don’t think an early April reveal for mid April release is feasible?
  18. Does anyone else think the Daily Bugle will be the next D2C officially revealed by Lego? Nowadays, Lego typically has a press release for a big set every 2-4 weeks and I think the Bugle could be next. The next UCS Star Wars set is in May, Ideas just had a set revealed and Creator Expert isn’t getting another set for a while. Unless the Super Mario or Harry Potter D2C set is revealed next, I think we could get a Bugle reveal in the next week or 2.
  19. The Benatar is basically another D2C set on top of the Bugle. Is this the best year for Lego Marvel since the theme began?
  20. That would be insane. Any predictions?
  21. Did FF give any indication on the number of minifigures included? Are we talking similar numbers to a Master Builder Series Star Wars set?
  22. I think if there is an additional side building in the set, Lego won’t include another office building when the Daily Bugle office is already included.
  23. Imagine if the Bugle set sells so well that it spawns an unofficial ‘Marvel’s New York’ subtheme with more modular buildings released in the future. Lego could release D2C sets for the Sanctum Santorum, Oscorp Tower, Baxter Building, Avengers Tower, etc that all attach to the Bugle similar to Ninjago City/Creator Expert modulars.
  24. Wow that’s coincidental.
  25. Yeah all of that seems plausible plus an office for JJJ, reception area, etc. It just all seems so mundane for a big 3000 piece superheroes set. Like I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bugle itself isn’t the entire build and there’s a smaller building like a bank included in the set to add extra playability.
