I guess you can argue that the only future war scenes we have actually seen is city fighting, compared to the mainly desert in salvation, where it is less hazardous terrain to break something.

I watched "Desert Cantos" last night and I enjoyed it. Needed more Beastwizard though. The only major problem I have (apart from it being crap!) is the same problem with the Star wars prequels. The tech (terminators aside) in the early part of the war (when salvation is set) looks more advance than the skynet tech we've seen in T1/T2/T3 and even SCC. In Salvation they have terminator bike and giant mecha terminators compared to the T800's and hunter killers of the films

Is it ok that the relic needs something else to power it up? Its the main point of a side plot i'm starting. The jedi separated the two parts of the relic to stop it falling in the wrong hands. The power supply is discovered during a archaeological dig on some planets, it was being sent to the jedi temple but was intercepted half way there.

I was painting some 40k Orks last night, and the thought of Lego army building popped into my head, and i don't understand why people do it. Sure, loads of clones/droids/orcs/whatever look cool in a huge group, but apart from display what do you do with them? i know there's a wargame but that's about 10-20 per side and its not like you've spent the time converting and painting them like warhammer figures. Note: I'm not insulting any army builders with this thread, i'm just curious

The one with the bionicle's in it air last night and I liked the John henry stuff and the Weaver T1001 casually slaughtering everyone in the warehouse was bloody awesome.

has the "UFO" actually been confirmed as a UFO? It looks a bit like a HK, maybe a prototype? It could also have been a dream or something due to the hypnotherapy, remember the recording was different the second time she listened to it.

Themes I like: 1) Star wars - Brought me out of my dark ages, based on some of my favorite movies. Most sets look fantastic and remakes are a huge improvement over the previous ones. 3) can't think of one, like the rest equally. Themes i don't like. 1)Exo force - I'm not a fan of Japanese Anime anyway so the line didn't really doesn't interest me anyway. 2) Bionicle - I don't hate it, but i'm not a fan either, i just don't get it, they look too much like "action figures" imo.

so episode 22 is Space Die Hard then? Aurra Sing looks good. I dunno, if it was during a bigger battle it wouldn't be that bad. Something like, "me and my squad have got a good chance of hitting something valuable here, we're going for it," would make sense

Does it actually matter? They've changed it because they wanted to, or to cut costs.
