I'm going to assume most people either didn't buy MOH (because it's not really good) or they don't play it whilst using illegal hardware so they didn't really care .

This one episode of Pingu gave me nightmares for like a week. It's the episode where he has a really trippy bad dream where his bed becomes possesed and he's being stalked by a horribly realistic walrus. It's probably where my irrational fear of Siegfried comes from. :P Horribly NMS: EDIT: Nice MOC, love how you got it to transform at that scale.

Unless it's bizzaro world or that universe from Red Dwarf where time runs in reverse, no.

It's 1998 and you are in charge of Lego themes, you get a memo about a new theme that the company have invested in, some stupid space movie called 'Star Wars' You've been asked to make a list of all the sets Lego will have to make for the first 2 years of the star was licence. (2 waves every year 5-7 themes per wave.) What would you decide to include? Would you have the Falcon in the first wave? Endor bunker in 2000? No UCS?What minifigures would you include or remove from the official sets. As a reference here are the sets released in 1999 (13 sets) and 2000 (23 sets). Here is a quick template you can use, as well as my example Set Name: 7787 Red Squadron Wave: Year 1 Wave 1 Minifigure list: Luke Skywalker (pilot) Biggs Darklighter (pilot) Wedge Antilies (Pilot) R2-D2 Wedge's Astromech Bigg's Astromech Set description: 3 X-Wings with the relevant pilots, for the Death Star Trench Run from ANH. It's an easy way to bulk buy x-wings and can be combined with 7878 Darth Vader's Tie Advance and 7879 Tie Fighter to create the battle for Yavin. Luke's X-wing will also be available separately (Like the Podracer set's were) Obviously here are a few things you have to be aware of: No Crazy Futurist Talk i.e No episode II/III/Clone Wars ect. Be Realistic. Think as if you were in charge of the business and have to make a profit, nothing stupid like 40 battledroids for £7 Episode I was released and you MUST include some sets from The Phantom Menace Thanks for reading and I hope this begins a huge discussion, my choices will be posted at a later date and i'm interested in hearing yours!

The Facebook fan page have uploaded a flash version of the demo level. You can play as starkiller or Boba Fett to hunt down people on your friend list. http://apps.facebook.com/escapefromkamino/?type=discovery I don't know if we want to share facebook info with each other so we can hunt each other down. Up to all of you.

This is a reference to Robby the Robot, from Forbidden planet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robby_the_Robot

If you're in Europe it's available on steam.

My only complaint is that do we need every single star wars set released? I.E different coloured boxes, re-releases and multipacks that don't really add anything to reviews? I'm sure I saw the original X-wing in Example: 4504 Millenium Falcon, there are two review of the blue box version but no reviews of the OT box, (the set is exactly the same but with a different box so there is no point reviewing it IMO.) Maybe you can have a footnote like Also available in a [different box] It saves space, especially if it happens to the clone wars boxes. Same with the multipacks. I'm for things like this. because it's different and you get an 'exclusive' figure. But not for things like this it just seems pointless.

I'll probably be dressed up as the 11th Doctor: It's an older pic (I've had my hair cut) but that's my costume. I've not really been invited to any parties or anything so I'll probably watch films at home (probably in costume )

Who is the best bounty hunter? (besides the Fetts)
simonjedi replied to master windu 7495's topic in Culture & Multimedia
But IG-88's back story is hilariously terrible. He infiltrates the Deayj Star II with some robot Stormtroopers and then begins to takes over the Death Star II computer core to control all the droids. (somehow?) Also he likes to screw around with the Emperor, and makes a door slam in his face. If HK-47 counts as a bounty hunter, then I'd like to vote for him. -
Frank the cosplay Dalek
simonjedi replied to lt.Gonville brickhead's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Actually Dalek sec first appeared in 2006's Army of Ghosts. Now that rubbish bit of sperging is done, I really like how creative you were, a Friend of mind did a 'Supreme Dalek Princess' which was quite like yours. -
Sorry if this has been posted before, I did a search and everything. Toys R Us have posted pics of the 2010 advent calendar up: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4057230 Erm...There's a naked Santa having a shower. Yes, Yes there is. Why? I really, really don't know.

Interesting. When are the awards?
-
I thought you're PS3 was chipped or something. Apologies. Also the PS3.5 is probably the Slim version.
-
I'd stop with the illegal talk if I were you Sion. Pretty sure discussing pirated/ illegal stuff is ban worthy. PS3 talk: Is Dead rising 2 worth buying?

Because it's not really that important to debate about, Boba has one as well so the argument boils down to 'Which has the best wrist gauntlet? Boba Fett's one or Cad Bane's slightly different wrist gauntlet.'

AWESOME PICTURE TIME:
-
I wouldn't say its better than BFII, just a different style. RC is more 'gritty'. Who? Anthony Daniels or Temuera Morrison? I'm assuming you mean Anthony Daniels.
-
Boba has a cooler ship than Cad Bane, Slave 1 vs. ermm... One of those magnaguard ships? Cad bane has had much more screen time than Boba Fett did in the OT so it isn't really fair to compare the two achievemts on screen. He worked with dengar once, but why have a team of bad megablocks mercenaries one one i just fine :P But did he have rockets in his shoes?

It's Available on Steam for £6.99 http://store.steampowered.com/app/6000/ Unless your computer is like 8 years old you shouldn't have any problem running it. According to wookiepedia 'and Jim Ward provided vocal talents for all three Dark Empire audio dramas.' So not completely true. Your theory is close enough with out being pedantic about it. EDIT: haha, 1138th post in a Star Wars thread

Because he's the star wars equivalent of batman (although 'evil'). In a film where someone chokes someone through a computer screen and a frog lifts up a ship out of the swamp, he's just a badass normal with cool armour and a rocket in his backpack. Don't forget if it wasn't for Boba tracking down han to cloud city, Han wouldn't have been frozen in carbonite and luke would have finished his training and not lost his hand. Plus Darth Vader, the most horribly awful bad guy to exist in the universe, who force chokes officers for fun, singled him out as being too brutal. “No Disintegrations!” He also had the balls to ask Vader (successfully) for compensation if Han dies. When Lando did this, Vader completely ignored him. His death was rubbish and i don't really read the EU although he falls in the same sarlacc TWICE

Anthony Daniels didn't do the games so if you count them as official then its slightly wrong. The only other actor I can think of who is his character in star wars media is Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett) because he did all of the voices for jango. (as well as boba and some clones.)
