  1. The Episode wasn't great, but it was terrible either. Other than a few lines it was pretty boring actually. Still it's only part one.
  2. Knows Your Eurobricks Age I got that because i (incorrectly) assumed Big Cam was 16 instead of 28 EDIT: Haha I've just notice Big Cam's new tag is Older Than You Think
  3. Tbh she was good in human nature/family of blood. But she was very uinderwritten. Oh unfortunatly i did remember it, its just Runaway bride and WoM that its used well. I loved time lord victorious but it lasts for about 3 minutes: 10: Laws of time will obey me Adele: Suicide'd 10: After that though he becomes a massive prick and has sex with the queen
  4. I admit Part one was a bit all over the place, the whole 'magical potions of resurrection/ anti-master resurrection' scene was stupid as well as DragonBall Z master. The fact that it seems to end about half way through the episode but then keeps going, (i'm being serious , its a CGI shot of the earth and the narrator says 'As Earth rolled into night...blah blah blah.. the final day.) and the scene where the doctor gets shot by the commandos trying to abduct the master then it suddenly cuts to the Wilf's house in the day and he's fine. But, admit it you still went 'OH HELL YES' during the 'This is the Day the Time Lords Returned For Gallifrey!' scene (Even though Dalton spat all of it.) EDIT: I completely forgot about RTD's favorite thing ever. 'LOOK AT THE DOCTOR WALKING TOWARDS US ALL MOODY AND DARK AND THERES FIRE AND EXPLOSIONS BEHIND HIM. ISN'T THIS GREAT AND NOT OVERUSED AT ALL ' It was fine for the runaway bride and WoM but come on. Part 2 was better, ignoring overly long regeneration. It had some excellent moments ('run Donna run' and the scene where Wilf hands him the gun.) but it obviously had the 'GUNS DON'T WORK THAT WAY' scene where he cocks the gun like 8 times, the 'hey wait a minute isn't this from a new hope' scene with the spaceship and the missiles and when he fell from a great height, through glass and hit a hard floor and only got a few scratches and the costume was ripped a bit, even though 4 fell from a shorter distance and still regenerated. Anyway 'The Hungry Earth' written by Chris Chibnall (42, loads of Torchwood episodes) is on tonight. It still seems weird having Who on every week instead of the huge wait for the specials.
  5. I honestly thought you were like 16. Happy Birthday though, hope you have a good day!
  6. Last of the Time lords is not that bad, Gollum10, 'clap ur hands if you believe in Jesus The Doctor' and the 'oh btw i'm the face of boe lol' (actually most of the master 3 parter and Turn Left/Stolen Earth are good episodes IMO anyway.) Which is still more than the rest did on journeys end did, plus they had to plan the escape. Jack is chained to a wall, so he's out. Martha's Family are basically slaves and Gollum10 is... well you know. I agree with all of this, although i did like the fake 'master destroyer' gun plot. I'm sure the missiles were going to be used to attack other planets, using the flying balls as well. (liked the idea of the toclafane as well) That wasn't his plan, his wife just hated him, plus he didn't regenerate to spite the doctor. I actually liked Martha, its too bad she spent most of S3 in roses shadow.
  7. Touche, Lord Aray, Well played. I'll go through your points in a minute, some are wrong/misunderstood (but some are right.)
  8. I've been rewatched some episode at random and i've come to this conclusion: Journey's end is the worst doctor who episode of the revival. 'Evidence' * Only Clone10 and Donna actually do anything. Rose and 10 spend most of the episode in 'suspension' Martha does threaten to blow up the earth but is teleported to the Dalek ship. Mickey, Jack Sarah and Jackie threaten to blow the Dalek death star up with a warp star necklace thing but they get teleported to Davros. * The way they defeated the Daleks - here is a summery. DoctorDonna *Technobabble* [she flicks a switch] [Daleks do ballet] THEN all the companions start pushing the daleks down corridors and RTD shits all over any dalek character development . * 10 moans at clone10 for destroying the daleks even though this is a huge dalek fleet and even without the reality bomb they can take over the galaxy (he even says that in the episode) THEN HE TRIES TO SAVE DAVROS?! * The horribly cheesy lets all drag the earth home while listening to MURRRAAAAYYY GOOLLD (i like the idea of 6 people required to fly a tardis though) *Bad wolf bay the second visit. bits i did like: Davros/Dalek Cann. Donna fate. The fires of Pompeii is an excellent episode however and features Karen Gillian (who is turning to stone in this episode, which is what 'happens' to her in Time of Angels.).
  9. Eurovision isn't the same anymore now that Terry Wogan has left. For non-british brickers. He got drunker and more sarcastic as the show went on.
  10. I hope they fix the printing on Molly's legs.
  11. "There's only one person in the world that hates me as much as you do." Was a very good episode, like Lord_Arjay said it was a very interesting twist. There was very good banter between the 3, and Matt Smith is a brilliant doctor. The elderly abuse in this episode was hilarious. Reminded me of Hot Fuzz.
  12. So what did everyone think of 'Amy's Choice'? so was your theory right?
  13. Nah, Toby Whithouse also wrote School reunion back in series 2.
  14. Fun fact: Next weeks episode is written by someone who hasn't written for Doctor Who before.
  15. I thought the episode was really good other than the rushed ending. The banter between Rory and the Doctor was great. Next weeks looks interesting. Edit: Didn't like the Edward Cullen reject either.
  16. I, for one, welcome our new alien overlords
  17. I didn't hate it, it was just a pretty forgettable rehash of The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit but on a Spaceship, plus the already mentioned 'hay guiz lets put a security system that relies on knowledge of 20th century pop culture on a spaceship in the 23rd(?) century.' Although I did like the real time aspect of the episode and i rather watch that than the Planet of the Dead for example. Plus I wished it was a Hitchhikers episode.
  18. To show how evil the Time Lords are, they are allied with the Daleks (Yeah) and the Daleks have their own 'War council.' This was thought of quite late so we already had most of TEoT stuff. They decided against it because it felt too 'RTD's Greatest hits.' Not my favorites but what i can watch several times. 95% of Eccleston's season All of Moffats. All of Cornell's work. 90% of the Master 3 parter. Fires of Pompeii. Turn left. The Stolen Earth. Smith and Jones. Shakespeare code Christmas Invasion Both CIN episodes. School Reunion Impossible planet 2 parter Army of ghosts/Doomsday. Runaway Bride (After seeing series 4) Midnight. As a bonus, here is a comparison shot between 11 and 10's screwdrivers.
  19. In order: The farting aliens was actually the choice of the director of the episodes (remember she doesn't fart during Boom Town.) The Deus ex machine for the Parting of the ways makes sense and was foreshadowed in boom town and Doomsday was plotted well. Agree 10 was an big behind. Agree, we almost got the Daleks in TEoT (see writers tale). Agree. Agree Rose's human doctor Sexdoll (ugh) did more than him. Agree. Agree. I liked the adipose. Ditto Donna's Fate. Agree. Agree. Disagree. TEoT had Bernard Cribbins. Read 'The Writer's tale' (the final chapter version) Its a very good book and it makes you like him a bit more. Plus you'll know things could have been a lot worse This won't end well. I don't hate that many episodes, just bits of episodes. I'm only going to pick a couple or i'll be here all day. New Earth Cassandra back for some reason, 'hilarious' body swapping. MAGICAL POTION THAT IS LIKE EVERY OTHER POTION MIXED TOGETHER. ALSO IT'S SPREAD BY TOUCH. Love and monsters Good idea Badly executed, paving slab blowjobs. Fear Her I honestly can't remember anything that happens in this episode. Army of ghosts I AIN'T AFRAID OF NO GHOST otherwise good. Dalek in New York 2 parter Penis headed Dalek Sec, Time lord dna being transmitted to dalek experiments by lightning (or something idk it was stupid.) 42 It's not bad, but it's just a forgettable version of the satan pit. Plus 'hay guiz lets put a security system that relies on knowledge of 20th century pop culture on a spaceship in the 23rd(?) century' Last 5 minutes of Last of the time lords. "clap ur hands if u belive in the doctor." NEXT time... Series 4 and the specials ! I bet none of you can wait!
  20. Yes but that was RTD, who gave us such 'gems' as paving slab blowjobs, 'clap your hands if you believe in the doctor' ending to a really good 3 parter, like 90% of journeys end and the 'I have time to cheat on the lottery and attend a book signing before I regenerate' scene NOTE: I love most of RTD's scripts and I owe him loads for bringing the show back, but he has written some terrible things.
  21. It was better than RTD's "here are some words you won't notice OH SNAP TURNS OUT THEY'RE IMPORTANT". .I'd glad he didn't actually, the whole Rose and doctor 4eva in season 2 was ugh, and he spent most of season 3 whining about how he missed ruh-ruh-ruh rose I thought so as well, but thinking about it it seems a bit too obvious
  22. Because it is Did you see footage of the Turbo tank and base it on that? Or is it a coincidence?
  23. Episode was made of win. That is all.
  24. I loved that joke though, it was very 'doctory.' Maybe its just the British sense of humour. Plus Matt making the noise was awesome. During the scene, did anyone else notice Amy blinks with one eye at a time?
