So I wake up and the thread is on fire (I should have popped some popcorn). Anyway, I know many people, including me, have been hoping for or naming the Grimmauld Place as a potential D2C, but I have been sort of wondering whether they would have two buildings based off of liscensed (I know I spelled that wrong) themes at the same time, the other one being the daily bugle. Has anyone else been wondering about this?

Honestly, Ron’s probably the most relatable for me, and so I feel a little weirded out they left him out of the statue set. I actually think LEGO used to kind of shaft him—I still don’t have him in school robes since I got the 2010 Hogwarts.

I would guess it’s a snowspeeder given it’s been a while (as in a couple months) since the last one and it would go well with the UCS set, but something tells me it’s not since it’s a store exclusive...

@Retro Brick Reviews, that is extremely far fetched, but at this point it’s believable. Now, let me try to top it in terms of unbelievability: a clock tower extension to the mega Hogwarts set, or some other area. It seems possible with what we know...

I’m sure this will be unpopular, but I did some thinking and came to the conclusion that SW does not really need a cmf. I can see the appeal of one, but I feel like there are a few hitches it would encounter. SW is the theme with the most minifigs. It’s (I think) the longest running licensed theme, and it has no qualms about putting figs in sets where they don’t really belong (Queen Amidala), or minor characters with only a few moments of screen time (Boolio). There are a lot of other themes that probably ought to have a second or third series before SW gets one, and the main draw is just better printing. The other problem is I think that with the downgrade to 12 figs, you have to decide which things to use. TCW? The Mandalorian? Just the films? I could probably fill a full one with just characters from the Rebels finale. Also, do you remember the atmosphere during the fan vote? There was a lot of animosity between OT and PT fans, and I think we would get a lot of tribalism if LEGO doesn’t cover one groups favorite character. I’m not exactly sure where this was going, but I thought I would bring it up.
