Hi sorry if this is common knowledge I'm just now getting into the Marvel side of Lego (I've been primarily a Star Wars nut), but when is the CMF expected to release?

Holy smokes Batman I left for three hours and the thread is looking like a damn Mexican standoff. I honestly think 2020 was a great wave. I’m a bit biased because that’s the year I got back into it, but Razor Crest, 501st, THE BEST NON MOTORIZED AT AT OF ALL TIME, come on man. This wave was pretty dang good. As was the 2019 wave tbh Kylo’s shuttle and the 20th Ann. Slave One are absolutely gorgeous. Idk my opinion doesn’t mean much because I had my dark ages during what y’all are calling the golden ages so just my two credits 🤷‍♂️

Question’s gonna be how much more that’s gonna set you back. Honestly if they’d made it a bit bigger and had both (presumably) paint jobs and made it 120-150 I wouldn’t have complained. As it stands it simultaneously grows on and disgusts me more every time I look at it.

Late June to Mid-July seems to be the prevailing theory based on previous years but with BB on May 4 who knows if that changed things. Doubt it tho.

They literally just should have done the YT mod everyone did to the new imp shuttle, made the tip a bit sharper, slapped sand blue on it and called it a day. Instead now we’ve got this half-assed Marvel-looking piece of garbage with a STICKER.

The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be…unnatural. now here’s my guess for the Gunship: the leak was wrong and it’s actually four pilots and eight shiny P2 clones to man it. this is the figure slate you are looking for, Lego. I think I’m going to end up waiting for a sale on this one, the figs look great but I don’t know if I can justify spending a hundred bucks for that monstrosity.

Great now I’m hungry. This at least proves its legitimacy unfortunately.

May 4 makes too much sense. I’m wondering if this is gonna be an imperial shuttle situation where it looks like trash on the box but is better in person. Thing is the shuttle was well-designed aesthetically to begin with and this just looks bad in general.

At this point I’m probably just EBaying the figs. Jeez this is frustrating.

Looks atrocious IMO. Like a mutated Marvel quinjet. The figs look all right and the speeders are cool but holy smokes I’m not happy with the main ship.

two things: Fulcrum’s source got it wrong and was talking about another set. That’s both promising and scary. Secondly Stu._d posted a SUPER blurry pic of the shuttle to their story, the color (which is literally the only thing you can see) doesn’t look terrible? But they said it does have a lot of sand blue

I always felt like this was a weird set to make at a $70 price point. It either had to be super detailed or gigantic. Not surprising. Do we know if the number is being replaced or if it’s just permanently scrapped?

Yeah just looked closer at Palp’s shuttle and I wouldn’t be surprised if the BB one is just a straight-up update and recolor of that with speeders to justify the higher price.

I’ve seen them get original stuff in the past but yeah they are generally a reposter. The two speeders I’ve not seen anywhere else tho. edit: more info from their story, apparently all the troopers are very detailed, sand blue is a definite, Omega is not in there (unsurprising), the interior holds max 2-3 figs and they rate the build 6/10. I’m getting Imperial Shuttle Recolor But Somehow Worse vibes from this. The fig info is promising tho.

So acc to lego_club_news on IG the asymmetrical fin is real. Stu._d still hasn’t posted the corrections and there’s apparently two speeders in the set now so I’m guessing this is accurate. I’m really hoping the build is killer otherwise because I want the figures but I also don’t want to pay 100 dollars for a garbage ship. I was really hoping this was going to be similar to Krennic’s shuttle in quality but I’m rapidly losing optimism

It’s probably because this forum is mostly older fans who already got the 2012 version or people like me who can’t afford it. It’s a really nice build I will say that.

Ooh. I see. Yup probably a Nazi. Anywho yeah the BB shuttle leaks apparently aren’t totally accurate either so I’m not trusting this as far as I can see it, which after it’s beyond a few inches from my face I no longer can.

88 is a Nazi code number but it’s usually written as 1488, not 1988, so I’m leaning towards it just being an unfortunate birth year. In any event it seems like the Maul fig is all red which is an interesting choice for that scene, given that he has robot legs.

Somehow an R2 review just dropped before the actual set was revealed, enjoy! So it looks all right, definitely skipping it but for the droid fans/completionists it should be great

But-but-but-there might be a singular human being who collects Lego Star Wars who somehow hasn’t gotten the original R2 variant that has been in EVERY. FRICKITY. FRACKITY. WAVE! The figs sound dope I’m sad we’re not getting OG Crosshair but other then that damn. Also a lime green speeder is so weird and different I’m lowkey excited about that. It’s just the sand blue and asymmetrical fin that’s infuriating.
