I've been thinking, speculating, for a while now about where LEGO is going as a product. And I have to say, the future is bleak. Fifty years ago, LEGO was a bunch of bricks used for building. That's it, and that's all. Now, LEGO is electronics, LEGO is apps, LEGO is everything- and it's in a downward spiral. Let's start with the introduction of LEGO Island, the first LEGO video game. It came out in 1997, and more apps were introduced as the screen revolution began. Suddenly there were TV shows, movies, and all sorts of screen-related media. Two decades later, the Hidden Side theme was revealed. And so the beginning of the end began. And then came Super Mario, a fully electronic theme. Not-so-fun fact: LEGO Super Mario set instructions can only be viewed using the Super Mario app. And don't get me started on LEGO's latest brain killer- Vidiyo. A TikTok app for kids, what fun. If you asked somebody what LEGO is, you'll always get the same answer- a building toy. But LEGO's executives don't understand that- they think that their brand needs to keep up with the times, in doing so failing to see the timelessness of the LEGO brick. Please share your opinions on this down below!

That is a good one. But why can't you have both? Back to the topic at hand! I'm a huge fan of this product idea. It may be slightly small for minifigure scale, but that can easily be fixed by buying multiple. What do you guys think about the price? I'll start off by saying $300 (US dollars).

This really irks me. They could have, but did they? Nope. Oh, I forgot about that. And yeah, they do listen sometimes, but the X-Wing and TIE were undersized (but I do really like them) and that really bothered a lot of people. I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean by PT. What's your source for that one?

Good point, and he definitely should have been in there. The decision to exclude poor Cody was a bad one, and I think they regret it. It wasn't that good of a set, and if Cody was in there, people would have bought it.

Yeah, you're right about all of this. I guess I can't really blame them for the size of the 501st vehicles, and designs for all three are likely. Now that I think about it, I hope they end up using those designs.

You're right, nobody wants a pink enemy-less castle. I really don't see why this is debatable.

What I mean is, they never listen to people (with the exception of the 2020 501st Battle Pack), unless they make the rules. With the gunship, it was clearly the best option to vote for, and TLG chose the options. The problem is, what set would they put P2 Cody in? Clone Wars is over, and there won't be any more sets based on it. (Unless Bad Batch has Cody, which isn't likely.) See, with the vote, they chose three options, likely knowing which one we would pick. I'd be willing to bet they were already working on the set before the vote even existed. Not only that, but they made a Nebulon-B Escort Frigate anyway! Albeit not UCS, but still... And yes, they did provide us with another 501st Battle Pack. (Not that I don't have a few problems with that set.) I might be slightly crazy, but I'm not happy with LEGO Star Wars. Yeah, I know, I'm ranting.

Well, that's frustrating. Does TLG ever listen to us fans?
