  1. Cool! Out of curiosity, was there a particular reason you elected to stick with the traditional hull pieces instead of using a brick-built hull like Supersick's "Supernaut"?
  2. This is my favorite British frigate; eager to see the finished real life build! I only wish there were instructions for this.
  3. Do the OKBrickworks fabric sails for the "Fer Maiden" work with this one as well?
  4. Did instructions for this ever get released?
  5. I know it has been over a year, but any chance of this project being finished?
  6. Given that Supernaught is essentially a theme-scale HMS Endymion, could a larger brick-built gun, or the Lego cannon, representing a 24lb, fit on here gun deck?
  7. Anyone have any advice on a source to make (or buy) stickers for a Speed Champion's style Dark Knight GCPD cruiser? The stickers from the exist Lego sets do not quite cut it.
  8. Still intending to keep her in relative scale to the Fer Maiden and the Barracuda Brig?
  9. How goes the Annubis?
  10. I know this is an old thread, but did you create and save any sort of "file" for those "stickers"?
  11. Very, very nice!!! Question, though: what is the reason for displaying the ship's boat on the gundeck?
  12. Yep, decided to go with a version of the smaller one form Thomas, though tweaking it with an idea or two from your chase guns. My apologies, but I am not sure I follow exactly what you are describing.
  13. Sounds like a plan to me!
  14. So, I am about 25% through building the ship with the Nelson Chequer scheme as above (gun deck mostly complete). As I am looking at it, I really feel like she needs a different solution for her main battery other than the Lego cannons. They just look too big inside her; moreover, there is no real good option to mount them to allow all the the guns to be run in and out (which is on the of the reasons, I am sure, that is not even an option with the default build). Doing rough math, it seems like an 18lbs at this scale should be about 6 studs long with a 3-stud long carriage . . . but searching through the MOC forum as well as messing around myself, I have so far not found anything that would work at that size (especially given that, unlike COBI, Lego does not have1 stud wide wheel axles) to make "playable" and mobile gun and gun carriage. Anyone else have any ideas/suggestions, or (as a mix my metaphors) is this a windmill too far?
