Courtyard Apocalypse - The Battle of Hogwarts
Brickity replied to Julandrius's topic in LEGO Licensed
The entrance is super! Great job! -
It would be SUPER cool to sort to mix all the pieces and build one complete and awesome Hogwarts:) Fun stuff! Thanks for sharing the pics!
-
This is like, the most original creation I've seen! I really love the croc! I really like the sewer too and how you built a hidden place beside it:) Good luck!
-
This is like my favorite one so far!! I love it!

The production plant in Mexico is located in Nuevo León, and by pure casualty 99% of the guys selling the figures live in Nuevo León. I contacted an assistant/worker from the LEGO distributor in Mexico and she got informed that some sort of collector is selling the figs (from the plant) Or it could be also that as I said previously, the laborers may be grabbing some while in production. I have to recognize my country isn't that honest. But hey, that's my speculation based on the daily Mexican life.

I know right! this bugs me too :/

Excellent choice of colors and pieces! In what set did you get those kind of green bricks?
-
I'm loving it already! Can't wait:)
-
Do you mean the figs' prices listed on mercadolibre? They're like 11-12 dollars which isn't thaaaat much compared to some bricklink figures (but these ones are old & rare) Since only the figures are being listed and not the sets.. probably some of the workers grabbed some while in production? Can't really think of anything else.

These figures are probably being produced in Mexico (I hope our horrible lego prices get lower at least :/) Look at this pictures found in MercadoLibre: http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/MLM-72789295-lego-batman-superman-dos-caras-mujer-maravilla-_JM http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/MLM-72863772-lego-batman-gatubela-dos-caras-super-lote-_JM Look at the rest here: http://listado.mercadolibre.com.mx/lego-batman But this seems so bizarre!

Warner Brothers planning CGI/live action LEGO film
Brickity replied to Whittleberry's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yeah I actually remember like a couple of years ago something about this, that WB is related to this "upcoming" movie. -
This is just so great! I love everything about it :)

Which theme/subtheme did you miss and regret?
Brickity replied to BeKindRewind's topic in General LEGO Discussion
When I was a little boy I used to buy action figures and LEGO, but mostly action figures. I didn't give Harry Potter a chance:( -
Ha, it has happened to me. The other day I was "prowling" around the Mega Bloks forum, and I found so so many discussions about how much LEGO sucked (according to them) Obviously the immature me suddenly pops out telling me to troll everyone, but that's really immature so whatever If someone thinks Mega Bloks are better that's their choice & problem. I'm not going to argue about that :P

I really like everything about it! Including colors!
-
The final models are so good! Such a huge variety of hairstyles and new pieces! And of course, colors! I can't believe I'm excited for this theme, unlike with Belville, I never got the theme's attention and I was even disgusted by it. Great job TLG! I hope these sell really well :)

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion
Brickity replied to whung's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you grogall! These minifigs are amazing! I like the hippie, the aztec warrior, the nerd and the rockstar! And look, a bride! I'm also digging the tennis player. Doesn't the red riding hood face looks a little weird? Like, too big. -
Custom printed Euro and US Dollar Banknotes!
Brickity replied to TASTER's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Not really a fan of how the euros look, but the custom USD are Super! Really like how you used tan for the tiles! -
BanBao is horrible, there's no sense in the case. Plus, LEGO has been around for like 53 years already, while that cheap asian toy.. obviously much less.

weirdest place you've found random LEGO?
Brickity replied to slovakiasteph's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hmm, here in Mexico it's RARE to actually see any LEGO. The only stores that sell them are so greedy;( 120 dollars for the Mill village raid? haha, good one; 200+ dollars for the hogwarts express? wait what?; 40 dollars for the forbidden forest? Oh please, go rip someone else.. But there's nothing I can do! This mall called Liverpool has the "monopoly" of LEGO, and that gives them right to set freaky prices some people actually pay! -.- (If all the mexican toy stores and supermarkets started to sell well LEGO and get good stock, Liverpool would have to set lower prices obv.) Anyways, sorry for going off-topic. The only time I saw a little brick on the street was a while ago.. it wasn't even LEGO, it was a cheap plastic brick with bird poo or I don't know what was it, but I just ignored it. Meh -
New Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive
Brickity replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This set is fabulous!!!! I need to keep working on selling portraits! -
I'm getting really fond of these sets, so many new molds and useful pieces, accessories and hairpieces. And I'm thinking the figures weren't a bad idea as I thought in the beginning. Don't care much for the buildings, but they're nice either way. The only problem for me is at the moment of buying any set, I'm going to look ridiculous and there will be no excuse for me this time! I'm still young ENOUGH to grab the excuse for buying a set to any person. Buying these from online stores isn't a bad idea, but the shipping worries me, I have my money counted. Is it just me or the blondie's straight hair looks a little odd? I think it would look better gaga style IMO

Amusing shopping site finds
Brickity replied to 1980-Something-Space-Guy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Oh my god, I hope they actually made a mistake while setting the prices! It's good to get some money from rare stuff, but I mean, that's super ridiculous! (Yeah, ridiculous for me, not for millionaires) 10,000 dollars for 73 common lego pieces, seriously? Ha-ha
