Oh so Queen Amidala's going to be in a summer set eh, LEGO really tends to surprise us Merry Christmas everyone! ❤
-
This is, hmmmm let me see... THE BEST MEDIEVAL MOC I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!
-
Yeah I mentioned that (except the spear thing) back in my post :D But I don't know why the figure with the brown cave woman's hair looks like an asiatic male to me but that's me, I'm crazy. There's also a girl with the cave woman's hair(orange) in the train set (she looks like flying/jumping or something) I hope the mummy in 9462, isn't a mummy in the final product. Like someone said, a (pumpkin head/headless guy?) would be nice!

Summer sets. Thanks to LegoPictureHQ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U58fbtoix0&context=C332f3c8ADOEgsToPDskLM2vpMBa2vaYUl9nr39lJQ 9 sets, I specially like the camper and probably the advent calendar

No Arwen or what? If the Uruk-hai army set is going to include just that small building, it's going to be uhm... kind of dull?
-
I hope that these monsters & hunters don't look too cartoony cause that has been bothering me lately, non-licensed minifigures are starting to have bigger pupils and the use of grin smiles is being over used The face design back in 2003 was much more classic, if that word is suitable.

There are two figs in two sets (The train and the carriage) which have the Cave woman's hair in orange and brown. Though the one with the brown one looks like a male to me. Can anyone guess what they are? Train: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17438046/lego2012/mf/9467.jpg Carriage: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17438046/lego2012/mf/9462.jpg

I LOVE this theme!! I got an instant eyegasm. Can't wait for the final products! OMG, like seriously. It's been a while since we had a GREAT theme like this! I swear I cried LOL so true

If Jabba's palace changes a lot in the final product, then it will be the first SW set that I EVER buy. :)
-
LOL no good girls anymore
-
I love this guy: He tried most of the friends' hairpieces on the regular minifig. Loving the afro-american and the two blonde hairpieces
-
Are these supposed to be all the sets from the first 3 movies?
-
They're just Prelim pics, not even the figs will be like that
-
Wow the sets are super detailed, so many new pieces and accessories. These new hairstyles will look perfect on the traditional minifigs, specially with those hair accessories and ribbons

I would not only like to see the "wild" part of LotR recreated in LEGO (battle packs and invasions) but also the "peaceful" part.. like a house. IMO LEGO Castle & Kingdoms lacked of this, most of the sets were just trolls & soldiers attacking the castles. I hope there will be more sets like Medieval Market Village and the King's joust in LotR (This means, sets without any kind of invasion and violence )

Wow, this will be the Bloomberg Businessweek magazine cover o.O http://www.businessweek.com/

Wow, I can't believe it. Yesterday I saw LEGO's post about the new friends theme in Facebook, all the comments were like "Ohh they're not yellow minifigures anymore! This isn't LEGO!" And similar stuff. They think this is how LEGO is going to be from now on, but we already had Belville which didn't look like LEGO either. Like 99.98% of them have the wrong idea.

Wait what?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
Brickity replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Lovin' the surgeon, the sleepy head and the genie! I'm confused about the space woman's head! Her lip color looks different in pictures: in some it looks light blue, in others pale pink, and in these one they look silver/gray! -
Someone please help me: I have this Marion Ravenwood torso (the wedding one) and it has become very yellowish since 2008! And pieces are supposed to go yellowish when they go trough many years, but it's been just 3 years! Any idea why this happened? How will I be able to whiten it if it is a printed piece? (Won't the print go off?) I really want to know if it is possible to clean printed pieces, cause I have many torsos and legs (printed) that have acquired a disgusting color. Is it necessary to leave the pieces in the sun? Have anyone's bricks get brittle cause of the whitening process? Thanks
-
NOH! That's never going to happen! And if the hell freezes over, then I'll have to quit this hobby:( I still want to see a traditional female fig with the blonde hairpiecee :(
-
These look really nice! But I must say City is the theme I pay less attention to, like, most of the stuff is just being repeated throughout the years But the forest themed line did really good this time! I'd like to see a more civilian based city theme: Probably a fun fair, a mall, a plaza. And of course, with less recycled mini figure pieces. by the way, the new generic city female head looks like Princess Tamina/Padme!
-
Well I mix both yellow and fleshies together (even though I can't match their torsos and heads..) I'm honestly getting fond of fleshies, it's a nice color. I only wish all the lego minifigs could be either flesh OR yellow (including the other racial tones in both) They don't look nice together :/ Anyway, if LOTR is on TLG's mind then we will probably get awesome new pieces and super detailed figures BUT, I hope these get released around November, cause my purse is going to hurt so much without this line anyway! :S
-
LOL @ the Joker's gang. I'm lovin' the ristorante!
-
This is really cool! Now you can make a Lady GaGa minifig with this hairpiece 8-) It's so nice to see a huge variety of hairstyles for the girls, they all look great (and the add an accessory feature is also really nice) I really like Emma's hair but it looks really opaque :/ just like Stephanie's hair. I hope not all of them come this way. Thanks for the review! EDIT: Can you show us how that hairpiece looks on a female head? I'm so curious :P Sorry if I'm asking too much! :S
