Thats true but the starship collection is another area than the playsets. But Slave 1 and Co. are just examples what Lego could realize instead of the Fondor (but fingers crossed for the Fondor to become a set... and of course the Tie Avenger)

I hope you are right. I think this would be a good spot for the Fondor as a lego-set which targets the audience from Andor. But the question is if Lego is willing to give up a spot for the Fondor when they also could publish a Stardestroyer, Imperial Shuttle, Slave 1, Razor Crest etc.

If this is true than it makes sense that normally UCS-Sets don't have so much minifigures (to keep the price at bay) and and is one of the reasons why the Death Star is so expensive because the different characters raise the costs. But Mos Eisley had also alot of different figures and was not that expensive (if I remember correctly).

Or a ISD bridge. 3 options for my most requested diorama (£129.99): Book-nook: Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Pellaeon, Eli Vanto, Commodore Faro, Admiral A’rlani and 3-4 crewmen (Hammerly, Pyrondi, Agral and Lomar.) Movie Diorama: Admiral Ozzel, Captain Piett, Darth Vader, Captain Needa, 2 junior officers and 3 crew members. Quote: “Good, our first catch of the day.” Ultimate Imperial Collector’s set: Governor Adelhard, Warlord Zsinj, Admiral Versio, Captain Kerrill, Lieutenant Lyste (crew pit), Emperor’s Sentinel and 3 crew members. Great ideas 😊. I want to add Vader and the Bounty Hunters. Quote: "No disintegrations" And if possible Rukh as an additional figure for the diorama with Thrawn because I really need a Noghri.

I saw the set yesterday in person. Looks great, maybe a little overwhelming with all the different scenes. I also don't mind the missing details or the form of the set but the price is still way too much for me.

For me it looks a little bit to goofy. Not bad but also I'm not really exited. Nice to see the U-Wing again and I hope Lego does something special with the ship but I guess not.

I don't mind if the set is still ok but thats the risk. Small set with a big price because of the smart brick. Still curious how this will turn out and if this smart brick will sell well.

Ambush on Ferrix is really great and I'm glad I bought and build it. I understand what you say regarding the sets. I feel that Lego would aim with +18 sets for the target audience of Andor if they want to. But they did this already with K2SO (and played it save like with the U-Wing as both are also part of RO). Maybe they would bring the Fondor as part of the starship collection (I would rather have it as a system set with figures).

Besides the amazing and growing build it is also absolutly amazing that you keep going over 10 years.

Thanks to all for your answer. I just looked at my RO U-Wing and thought that this one looks great (in the past I modified the underside to make it less bulky). But time will tell what I will buy in the end.

I have the Rogue One U-Wing and I'm not sure if I need the new one (figures I can get via Bricklink). But reading that the new one is one of the best sets 2025 here comes my question 🙂: If you have both U-Wings, which one is better and why?

I still find sets which I like (e.g. 2025: UCS AT-ST, AT-AT helmet, K2SO, U-Wing, Home One). But I'm focused on OT, Andor and Rogue One. Therefore with Ahsoka S2 and the Mando Movie for 2026 I might have to find some sort of alternative (or I might be positive surprised from those two). But I would rather check alternative builds or maybe rebrickable instead of buying older sets (e.g. I really want a B-Wing and hope more for a new set in the next years instead buying the old one which for me has an outdated design).

I think a Tie Advanced as an single set is totally different from the attachment for the DS or Vader's Fortress. For me these are apples and oranges. And I don't own a single Tie Advanced set. Therefore I'm very happy because I really like the ship and the last one was a long time ago in my dark ages.

I think TLG played it save and brought two sets for Andor S2 which also worked for Rogue One. I hope for more sets but this should better be happen next year or latest the year after.

The last Tie Advanced was a long time ago. I'm happy with this one (but I also wouldn't mind a new Andor set).

I believe a Diorama Line for the Death Star would be way better than the UCS-Set. And regarding your question, my children would take care of this. But I also believe that I already display 1000 in sum with different sets.

Would be great to have on the other side the trench run and the some outside scenes from RotJ.

Ask me again when the sets are leaked or published but right now I really don't need a bust from Lego Star Wars. For me the helmets are enough im this area.

I like what I see from the leaked photos of the DS UCS. Its like a big diorama with most of the important scenes which are easy to display (instead of the older DS UCS). But it feels very far away from the price to be paid and doesn't give me any sensation at all. Lego could have done a series of dioramas for the DS. So everybody could collect the scenes the want to display and maybe put every diorama time after time together.

Eight figures leaked for the DS. Including Galen Erso and Hot Tub Stormtrooper. I just need Galen but this will cost 😬.

I believe a hungry Rancor will go rampage soon when the topic about MandR won't stop. You saw the info regarding the three figures which are part of the Tie Fighter GWP? I wonder who those three will be. I cannot think of anything special regarding a Tie Fighter. Or it is the Avenger with three figures from Andor 😱.

Maybe the Fondor 🤞. But not sure that $100 are enough.
