FABUpunk! Mafia II–Nights
Marlowe Monkey replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It was a sentient piece of leather and it was chasing me. I have had an irrational fear of leather ever since. -

It is indeed spooky and that means lots of people will have spoooooky dreams. I had a spooky dream about leather once... -

I don't the trickster would want to out themselves or consequently try to even hint at who they are. But I do find the choice of highlighted grey text a little odd. Particularly since the grey text isn't that noteworthy or has any reason to be in bold. The rolestopper prevents all actions from affecting the target. If the rolestopper targets the mirror then action is deflected and the rolestopper will be immune to any night actions. This happened last night the Rutherford. So technically, the action of the rolestopper targeting the mirror was unsuccessful. Vote: Rutherford Racoon -

You having a dream? A giant hand in the sky means you will be given a helping hand by someone in your life. I also don't think we should come out and claim just yet. The more the scum are left in the dark the better. Hyacinth still seems to be taking a non committal/sitting on the fence/don't know who to vote for attitude. -

Neither really. I am not the trickster. I agree with Corianna's logic that the trickster could've hidden behind whatever role Croc had. I'm not sure if I agree with the latter reasoning though. IF I was the trickster and I pretended to target a player who had the mirror role there's still a good chance I would've been tracked (or consequently if the mirror was watched) I would've been outed. -

Did you think this? Or are you just jumping on to the first thing you see? You haven't mentioned it before. What were those suspicions you had yesterday that you didn't want to voice? -

What do you mean "most of my answers"? I gave my reasons for voting for Hippo and my block on Shaenin was genuinely a gut feeling. What would you like me to say? Nope. I am not the trickster and I know as much as you. Holbrook seems to be under the impression that by speculating about the Slumber Party role I had some kind of inside knowledge and I don't. -

Is that a bad thing? It's not like I didn't place a vote at all. I voted for Hippo and I gave my reasons for doing so. I didn't go for Mobely or Gilbert because I wasn't convinced they were scummy enough for me to vote for them. I imagine if I had voted for Mobely or Gilbert I would have been accused of jumping on the bandwagon. I don't know what you're trying to say other than someone somehow stopped the action from coming through to me. I didn't know you had an investigation result and even if I did I had no way of anticipating that you would target me. -

That's fair. I understand people had certificate issues/RL stuff plus not voting gets a penalty. Again it really was just gut feeling. No other explanation there. -

Holbrook then votes for Gifford after a toss up between him and Mobley. Benicia then votes for Mobley about the Slumber Party role thing. Shainen then votes for Gilford. Bixby then votes for Mobley. This is also feels like a bandwagon-y vote. Bixby hasn’t said anything so far and it feels as though he’s just jumped on the first bandwagon he saw. Emetic unvotes Bixby and then votes for Mobely. This feels very off. Again like he’s jumped on to the first bandwagon he saw. Gilford’s vote is also kind of weird. He says he has serious suspicions of others but doesn’t want to voice them because he doesn’t want them to pick up on them(?) Finally Bartosz Bulldog votes for Rutherford. I’m not sure what my opinion is on this vote. He hasn’t just jumped on a bandwagon but he’s voted for a player who probably wouldn’t (and in the end didn’t) come online. I don’t know. Out of all of yesterday’s votes the ones that strike me the most are Emeric, Bixby, Gifford and Franceszca. -

Let’s look at the voting pattern yesterday: So Emeric votes first. He votes for Bixby as a poke vote as Bixby hadn’t said anything at that point. I don’t think Emeric was aware of the certificate issue at the time of voting. Next Hycainth Hippo votes for Mobley. Hyacinth hasn said much up until this point but votes anyway. Parvati then votes for Gilford Goat for his comment about claiming for fun. I then vote for Hippo for sitting on the fence and not taking a clear stance. Corina votes for Mobley because of his backtracking and the fact Mobley might be lying about the true meaning of his role we also find out Mobley might have an STD. Fox then votes for Gifford Goat for his casual suggestion. Franczeska hasn’t said much up until this point and this vote feels somewhat bandwagon-y given Poodle has already voted. Leatrix then votes for Hippo for more a less the sam reasons as me. I don’t consider it as bandwagon-y as The fox since Leatrix has contributed more to the discussion. I’ll analyse the rest of the votes in a second post. -

Just a hunch I guess. I was going to go for Hyacinth Hippo but a gut feeling told me to go for Shainen. -

Damm. Two town members lost in one night. Not good. I never got to interpret their dreams speaking of which I had an excellent dream last night about some sherbet lemons... another time maybe... I attempted to block Shanien Sheepdog but was unsuccessful. -

A minivan is a van that is mini. They’re people carriers I think. I woooouldn’t know. I spend most oooof my time swinging on vines when I want to gooooo somewhere. This case study sounds interesting. Aliens capturing the kid with pens and paper is symbolic of the way these big oooold mega corporations suck up kids money now. The shooting star in this story was no the symbol of hope and optimism. Did you know that in 1066 Haley’s Comet was sighted over England. It was a bad omen for King Harold for breaking his promise to William the Conqueror. Strange times. -

I can interpret that. A shooting star is a symbol of hoooope and optimism. A sign that good times are to coooome. You can always tell where you are based of the star patterns. I think that one on the right is the Big Dipper and the one north of that is the bear. -

Anytime . So you’re saying the more players leave the more powerful/useful the Slumber Party Role is? I appreciate you can’t copy the host directly but I’d there any more info you can give us about it? -

These are your dreams? Ok so the first one means the Crocodile probably has ear damage which is why he is so sensitive to noise. In which case yes, we shouldn't wake him up. You having to choose between a yellow and green tunic means you are going through a difficult choice in life. I wish you the best of luck. A lynch, and particularly the alignment of the player who was lynched, can be helpful when we see who voted for who and who jumped on (or conversely kept off) what bandwagon. -

My point was that it was more of a chain reaction sort of thing. So if Player A targets Player B and Player B targets Player C and Player A was targeted then Players B and C would have their night actions voided as well. The idea being the slumber role limits the amount of night actions on one night. It was just a suggestion. Either way I agree there's still people not pitching up despite the certificate being fixed. Croc? Rutherford? Bixby? Are you guys dreaming? If you wake up and tell me I can interpret them for yoooou. -

I would’ve voted for either Bixby or Rutherford for their lack of contribution but given the ship seems to be having certificate proooblems I don’t think it’s fair voting for them until they have had their say on matters. Thank you Mobley for clearing the slumber party role thing up. If you do goooooo to the slumber party please bring back some snacks and goodies. I had a dream I went to a slumber party once. For now I’m going to vote for Hyacinth Hippo: Her post here just feels very non committal. She’s briefly evaluated both sides but seems to be sitting on the fence and hasn’t come to a clear viewpoint. Vote: Hyaclinth Hippo -

That's what I'm thinking. The roles booooooth mention targeting one person. Sooooo I'm thinking it voids all night actions of the person as well as the people they targeted. So for example if Player A targets Player B and the Slumber Party role targets Player A then Player B's night action will be voided as well(?) Or maybe it allows a player to stop certain night actions. I don't know. Whatever it is it sounds as though it limits the amount of night action used in one night.
