The rules say players can't target themselves unless said otherwise in PM. And the PM I was sent didn't mention anything about that. I'm not just going to sit around and let the town fall into a trap. Shainen hasn't voted for me and I don't know whether that's becuase he genuinely thinks I'm town or becuase he knows I'm going to flip town tomorrow and is trying to distance himself from the bandwagon. Since it looks like I'm going to be lynched. I want to help the town in the long run. I have the Framer/Tailor role for tonight. I want to put it out there in case the scum/trickster try to claim it tomorrow. Or similarly if the scum try to claim they were targeted by it if they're investigated.

That's a very bold statement to make. Tell me Emeric how do you "know" I am scum? You've never voiced any suspicions at me before so do you actually think I'm scum or have you just jumped on the first available bandwagon you've seen? I urge the town to look back at the post. The scum and the trickster are probably having a field day right now. They know that I'm town and they know I'm about to be lynched. What??!!!! You literally said in your previous post it was exactly about timings. You accused me of fabricating having the bomb diffuser role by deliberately waiting for other players to claim their roles. An accusation that is untrue. No. You did doubt that I had been given the diffuser role. You said so yourself here: And there's this: A player has been investigated as "not scum" indicating they could be grown or the trickster. But no one has questioned Emeric over this. Nor has he bothered to come out an explain why this might be the case. Something rubs me up the wrong way about this. We literally have an investigation result points towards a player being the trickster and no one has said anything. Emeric, would you like to explain this? Is there any reason why Gilford has been given a "not scum" reading on you? At this point I'm torn on who to vote for. Leatrix Lamb for her backtracking or Benicia Bear for allegedly being given a role that conveniently does nothing but also for the fact that the only other player who could vouch for her (Rutherford) is dead. Both could be scum but Benicia Bear and her convenience is too suspicious for me so I'm going to Vote: Benicia Bear One other thing I wanted to add. Gilbert's wording for his result was "not scum" and it was only until he was asked did he clarify exactly what this meant. I could see the scum wanting to frame another player as the trickster OR the trickster wanting to frame another player as the trickster. Just a thought.

As Parvani said you can't expect everyone to be around when the new day is posted. Also (without trying to give away too much) I'm in a completely different time zone to the Gods above so I'm usually asleep when the new day is being posted. IF I was scum why would I claim Bomb diffuser? It would be far easier to claim Vengeful Watcher or Investigator or even the Baby Dragon Lullaby.

I mean in hindsight targeting Hippo might not have been the best idea. But I had very little to go on. It didn't. My main thought process as I've explained, was which players were most likely to be targeted by other town roles.

My thought process was genuine. What Hyacinth said convinced me enough she was town. Since the bomb kills anyone who targets it my mex thought was "well, who's likely to be targeted the most since the scum would most likely pick that person to be the bomb". The answer to that question was Hyacinth. Was it as perfect thought process? No. I don't have any other roles. The diffuser was the only role I had last night.

It was a mistake. It was stupid of me to go for the Hippo and I was overthinking it. How is calling Bixby's vote bandwagony WIFOM?

Okay, so Hyacinth and Francessca were both on the verge of being lynched yesterday and both had the chance to make a final kind of plea if you will (and both did). Francessa didn't really do much too defend herself and piled on the Hippo bandwagon. Whilst Hippo made what felt like (to me) a genuine townie post. It just didn't feel like it was coming from a scum perspective. So it changed my perspective in her and I changed my vote to Francessca. (Which we can see was now wrong). Like Corinna, I didn't have much useful information to work with since you sort of have to predict who the scum will target. I assumed that when the Bomb exploded it would kill anyone who targeted that player so my logic was that the scum would ideally target someone who was likely to be targeted by lots of people. So I went for Hycainth since I felt it was likely she would be targeted.

I targeted Hyacinth Hippo.

Fuck fuck fuck. Looks like the Bomb was not diffused. I was the other diffuser. I am guessing from today's new my target was also unsuccessful.

As I've said earlier I've suspected you since the Day 1 so I haven't just jumped on an easy bandwagon. You've made a better case for yourself than the Fox has. I don't know whether I'm about to make the right decision but out of Hyacinth's and Francessa's responses to both being the subject of today's lynch Hyacinth comes off as the more townie whilst Francesca comes off as the more scummy. Our lack of lynching hasn't helped us at all and I think we need to have one today. I have three main suspicions so far: Gilford Goat for making the most posts out of all of us yet seemingly also saying the least. It's also convenient he also failed to investigate the Fox last night which brings me onto... Francesca Fox. Same as Gilford, except she's made very few posts and also said very little. My real suspicion driving this is the fact the investigation result was unsuccessful last night. My first thought on this was that Gilford and Fox are scum and they faked an investigation result between them but if the scum faked an investigation result between them why would they say it was unsuccessful? Surely they would confirm one another. This makes me suspect Fox more than Gilford. Lastly there's Hyaclinth who I've been suspicious of since Day 1 for her non committal attitude and sitting on the fence for the last two days. As I said earlier I don't think Hyaclinth was lying about not meeting the night action deadline. But it does seem odd she withheld that info until prompted about 3 times. For me it's ultimately a choice between Francessa and Hyacinth. Hyacinth feels more scummy but Gilford getting blocked on the night he tries to investigate Francesca feels off. Then again the scum would have to know Gilford had an investigative action so maybe the whole thing was just a coincidence. I'm going to Vote: Hyacinth Hippo

Have we had any update on who Hyacinth Hippo targeted? The fact we haven't had any updates from her and the fact she seemed very eager to claim yesterday makes me think she's hiding something.

It does seem very convenient although Bixby being scum makes it seem less suspicious. And wasnt the watcher unsuccessful yesterday?

Ayyyyyy good work Rutherford! I’m soooory for suspecting you yesterday. I take back all of my comments. I was the Ghoul. Meaning I choose a player and If I am targeted for a kill that night then the player at chose would be killed instead. I chose Hippo and I was successful.
