Just so you know, if anyone wants Pretzel's for sale items or wants me to hold onto them for a later sale, then let me know, otherwise I'll probably sell them to Fabian. Also, I'm not sure about loaning my Mythril Shield to Parfenius since Pretzel can't use it anyway for now.

"Perhaps I once would have considered it, but it seems the more time passes, the more the world is in need of heroes...true heroes." I accept the coin and hand her the Cloak of Necrotic Shielding.
-
I nod in agreement. "Take it. Pardon me that my memory fails me. Have you been around the hall much?"
-
Parfenius enters the marketplace, following the former two heroes, and purchases a bedroll. 10 - 5 = 5 gold remaining.

Pretzel puts up another sign: Selling (Last Chance): Cloak of the Barbaric Runecaster (SP: 3; wearer creates and deploys a Skeleton Decoy at the start of every battle; Suitable for Battle Mages, Necromancers, and Scholars; Backwear) Ethereal Cloak (SP: 2, Max Ether +4; Backwear) Cloak of Necrotic Shielding (SP: 3; Provides Special Guard against Undead enemies; Backwear) Soothing Slippers (Meditation restores 5 ether; Footwear) --Pretzel

"Oh...umm...I'm not really sure. I mean, there are hills and forests and rockies too...lots of ogres too, until I killed them. If there's someplace like that somewhere, then it must be it. I mean I've seen maps of my country, but never such a large one as this." Pretzel looks up awkwardly as Johon walks in, but just shuffles his feet a little and does nothing. The Raider was obviously busy.
-
"Located? It's the greatest country in the world. Surely, you must know it. Um... It's across the sea...I think."

*blink* *blink*

"Gladordia. It's a fabulous place!"
-
"Thinking about it. I did encounter one former hero, a certain "Retak Ysp" or something in a quest of my own. I don't recall hearing anything about this purging though. But there definitely were some fascinating ideas shared...a Fenarian, if I'm not mistaken." "Uh, yes, yes I am. I have come to be a hero. Life had grown dull in my country, so I am here to do some good in this land."
-
Hmmm...didn't even realize that the colour I selected for Parfenius' speech was already in use by Nerwen. It's nice and simple to type though, so I'll probably just keep it.

Fantastic to see Mac again. Now if only Jeaux would return as well...
-
I have read all the quests in a "Marathon." Pretty much one per evening though. ...Not 48 though.
-
"No. I did not read about that. What happened and where did you read it? Please any information that tells me how the hall has changed from the way it was to know and how the definition of a hero has changed would be most helpful. "I'm not saying that we purge indiscriminately, but there are some obvious anti-heroes." Parfenius just looks around at all the conversations going on around him, lost to the meaning of it all. "Hmm...it seems like there is much more to being a hero than I originally thought..."
-
Pretzel remains sitting in his seat, pondering and reflecting. Was it time to act? There was no doubt the hall needed a cleansing. Overhearing the conversation at the other table, I stroll over. "Guts wants to be king of Eubric? Interesting. I would once have supported a Hero going for kingship, but now I'm not so sure, with the state the hall is in. "...at least the witch isn't around anymore..." I mutter.
-
Wouldn't it be great if everyone who joined the Crescent Union and the Sungold Alliance voted for Ulric to be the king of those factions!
-
"Oh? I did not know heroes had time for meditation and such things. Isn't there too much good that needs to be done?" I stare at Lind as he talks about becoming king of Eubric. "Scary! My mom always told me that I should not let power get to my head. It seems a bit of a stretch to put a claim for kingship when apparently no one supports you. ...or maybe this is all over my head..."
-
"Is this man a hero too?" I whisper to Lind.
-
-
"Hmmm...a shovel? I suppose if we are going to be fighting off fiendish plants we may need to bring a shovel along to help out with the gardening. I don't usually spend my time engaged in that manner...seems a waste of talent...but perhaps I'll go purchase the shovel." Meanwhile, Pretzel stroll over to the board, but seeing the quest available, turns away again.
-
"That is a lot of coin!" I note in some surprise. "I suppose it is the wealthy who have time for heroing, isn't it?"
-
Can we officially name 124's party the most unlucky party ever?
-
"All right, then..." I say, not entirely convinced. "Thank you!" I say, before looking at the barstools. "Perhaps I will sit at this table here. Milk, please!"
-
I laugh at the silly comment. "Why else would I be in the Hall of Heroes?"
-
"'Heroicans'? What are they?" *Blank stare.*
