Heroica RPG - Quest #36: The Voracious Vault

I don't believe ether is deducted for unsuccessful sealings, but I could be wrong. "I have a feeling that this could be it. Make those blows heavy folks. I will attempt to seal it again." Battle Order: Pretzel: Seal Mizuki: Front Erik: Front -

"I have done my part, why couldn't you do yours?" Battle Order: Erik: Spawner (Front Row) Pretzel: Spawner (Back Row) Mizuki: Spawner (Front Row?) "Not sure if Mizuki should strike from the front or continue from the back. She only has one out of six chances of receiving damage, but that would be enough to floor her if she is not in the back row." -
Daxus and Pretzel, who accounted for a hell of a lot of those posts, had been sitting around the hall for way too long. Of course. We will lock the door from the inside so Mrs. Commerz won't be able to get in and then we'll loot to we're content. We will later tell her we locked it to prevent the proggs from escaping.

"I don't know. Sealing it was the original plan, but now I'm not sure. What does our unconcious friend think? I think if we don't seal him there is too much chance of her slashing us with all six of her legs." Oh, darn it. Just realized that this is post #666. What bad luck! -

"Great! Another miss. Ah, well, no damage done. I will try sealing the Spawner and you two deal the damage. Front row if you please. Ha, ha, devil. We have slain all your devilings. Now you too will die." Battle Order: Pretzel: Seals Progg (Back Row, don't know if this matters) Mizuki: Spawner (Front Row) Erik: Spawner (Front Row) -
I find it hard to believe that Quest #36 is already almost as long or longer than so many of the other on-going quests. What have we been talking about all this time?

"I'll fight the pupa now, so we have more chance of defeating him this round. I put you first so that if you go into one of your battle frenzies, you will deal maximum damage. Mizuki will not get as much gold then, but I think defeating these devils is more important than Mizuki getting a hoard of gold. If God grants me a miracle, you will both be fully healed." -
Fantastic quest WBD and superb role-playing to all those who participated. This really has been one of the most enjoyable quests to read, in my opinion. I very much liked the way the quest members were getting into fights with all sorts of people. I was completely confused as to who the "bad guy" was, and I think you let it out too quickly. However, if you hadn't, I wouldn't have seen anyone figuring it out too easily.

"Erik, if you don't mind. You will fight the Spawner alone. If you fight the pupa, you will have a chance of receiving damage from both of them and getting knocked out. Mizuki and I will go for the Pupa." Battle Order: Erik: Spawner (Front Row) Mizuki: Pupa (Front Row) Pretzel: Pupa (Back Row) "If you would prefer me to heal you, just let me know. It can be arranged. Any suggestions are welcome, but I think this is the best plan for the moment." -

"Fight, team, Fight. Follow the instruction given by the knocked out, but still speaking, Daxus. Perhaps his being succumbed to a knocked out state enables him to be a channel of the power of the other world. All that to say, though, I am sure that God is not smiling down upon Daxus. His mind must be leading him astray. Perhaps it's that sword of us. I've noticed an unhealthy gleam in his eye ever since he received it. God forgive him and help him to come to a knowledge of you." The spawner will lay eggs if Erik gets special damage, right? -
Why would you be so sure Rockford is scum if I'm town? I think we've gone over this before. This is abandonment, Mr. Chief of Security, sir.

"Let's defeat these demons and pray to God for a miracle to help us. Fight team! Fight! May these pests fall back before us. I feel a song coming... ... ... No, I was wrong." Battle Order: Mizuki: Pupa A (Front Row) Daxus: Pupa B (Back Row) or pick up weapon, but I think you may as well fight. Erik: Pupa B (Front Row) Pretzel: Spawner (Back Row) -

"Ummm...not sure about this. We don't exactly want the progg laying eggs at this point. I know it is an unlikely occurance, but possible, but I am fine with this plan if the two of you stand by it. Although the problem with my plan is that there is a possibility that both you and Mizuki could be knocked out this round. I'll leave the final decision up to you. -

"Keep that pest quiet, Erik. It's bad enough that you all gave up your bombs to him, but now he actually wants to set them off!?! How crazy can we get. I guess it's all this stuffy air down here. " Daxus, would you prefer to go and pick up your sword again? I don't think it's particularly necessary. Perhaps just fight with your old one. It doesn't require a turn to start using that one, does it? Battle Order: Mizuki: Pupa A (Front Row) Daxus: Pupa B (Back Row) or pick up weapon, but I think you may as well fight. Erik: Pupa B (Front Row) Pretzel: Spawner (Back Row) -
Wow! It's like you know that I'm going to flip town.

If this is the arrangement, then I can't say that it bothers me incredibly. There doesn't seem to be a lot I can do to change your minds anyway. Just keep a close eye out on Awesome Star as well. I really hope that Dakar is scum, otherwise we both have gotten you all into a real pickle. On my honour though, when I turn up as town in the morning, I would prefer to not have the regular "he was useless to us anyway," talk. I want to die with honour.

Ummm...I don't see this as making any sense. Sure, it makes sense to lynch me, but if I flip town, why would you target Rockford? You read the PMs yourself, I posted them here. You can make the decision now whether or not you think he intentionally made a bad interpretation and it wouldn't take me flipping town to do so. First you say you want to lynch Rockford and then you say Campbell, which one do you mean? Sounds a bit wishy-washy to me.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not a joker, in-game at least, and, I suppose, because I'm telling you this, it proves that I really am not, right? There was a bit of a reason for my joking with DD, but it was mainly jest. The joke did not help me any, but to remain slightly suspicious of him. There have actually been more than just two people behaving suspiciously. Even Darkdragon behaved oddly in that, if he really believed that I was telling the truth about my being scum, he only said so out loud, quite a while after I told him that. Although it's great to think that if I were scum than those three you mentioned must be scum as well. It is a bit unrealistic. If I really were scum they would be treading more of a middleground, I think, and wouldn't be so dismissive of me. On the contrary, since I am town, which can only really be proved through your lynching me, then, from your point of view, I would say there is more to worry about them. I hope this made sense. I think though, that some of them just honestly believe that I am town. I would like to think so, anyway. Dakar seemed to edit the statement to gain sympathy for his "everyone is picking on me," deal, to explain his defensive stance. It does seem a pitiful thing for a scum to edit a post over though, which is one thing that makes me believe he may not, in fact, be scum, but I do still think he is our best option as of now. Agreed. I would rather be lynched than have no one lynched once again today.

"No, Daxus, keep the battle order and targets the same as last time, except for Erik's. Fighting in the back row also, will not help Mizuki. Whether she fights from the back or front row she has an equally poor chance of getting knocked out so, if she doesn't mind. Let her continue her attack from the Front Row on Pupa B. You attack Pupa A. Erik will also attack Pupa B and I will continue to smite the Spawner." Battle Order: 1. Daxus: Pupa A from Front Row 2. Mizuki: Pupa B from Front Row 3. Erik: Pupa B from Front Row 4. Pretzel: Spawner from Back Row -

Could you add a little more "Waahh" to this Mr. "Waahh, Waahh, I'm scum?"
