If we didn't get her like 10 years ago, when she was popular*, no way we get her now. *Not extremely popular, but I wouldnt call her niche either. In any case, she had a somewhat small window in time for her moment of fame, and Lego didnt take the moment, so unlikely we get her unless she shows up in the MCU.

Crazy shower thought I just had, but I might as well share it with y'all: So, in theory, we're supposed to get a Keaton Batmobile standalone set, in addition to the one featured in the Batcave, right? There's just no way the small one is better, so it's going to be either the exact same, or a worse version. IMO, they should've kept this version of the batcave to be the standalone version, as it's pretty much 89's batmobile. And then, the version from the Batcave should've been able to split and turn into that weird bat train thing from returns. You know, like the movie the set is supposed to be based of?

Yes, but that's what I'm saying. Why Batman Returns in particular? Why not both Returns and 89? Like I can understand The Flash not being included because Lego doesnt want to be involved, fair enough, but I dont understand why picking up only Returns.

What I dont understand is, why specifically Batman Returns? Why not Keaton's Batman in general? Not that it would've made this *much* better, but why would they shot themselves in the foot like that? Like who thought "Yeah, Christophen Walken's character and a spinning chair are going to be the top selling points of this set!". Granted, not that the Burton movies have that many interesting looking characters minifigure wise, but gimme the Joker and a few goons, or some penguins or something.

Who greenlit the boxart? Like, just for a moment, let's ignore the set itself, okay? Who thought this boxart looked compelling? It looks fake! Its not even properly aligned! It looks like those old Nintendo DS "classic games" covers.

Actually, if they removed the whole front wall + batmobile + batmobile platform + made the back wall thinner, this would make for a solid 150-200€ display piece. Ninja'd

I see where you're coming from, but that'd be way too huge. Scarface should be small enough to be phisically grabbed by a regular minifigure. Otherwise it wouldnt be Scarface

The Mario thingy was different, we knew we were supposed to get a Peach castle (which we did) and the number was mixed with the D2C one. The Batcave set? We know details too specific for it to be a different set.

I don't think they'd do Notre Dame, but mostly because they'd have to get a separate licence for it, as it's a real building.

As many as possible. 1 penguin for each 100€ spent doesn't seem too unreasonable (we will get exactly 3 anyway).
