  1. Fair enough! Tbh, I don't actively hate him, I'm just not a huge fan. I do love when he mirrors Indy, I think that's very fun. That being said, I do not think him being in DoD would've made the movie any better hahahaha Ohhh, I get you now! Tbf, even if we got more Raiders set, I don't think we'd gotten any more dioramas? The only other scene that would justify one would be the Tomb where they find the ark, and that's already a set. Maybe the map room? I don't think anyone would disagree that Temple of Doom takes a lot of risks! Unfortunately, most of them don't really work for me as a whole I agree with that too! But like, she's still annoying!
  2. Oh my god, we have the exact same ranking. You're extremely based. I'd argue Last Crusade and Raiders are both the best movie, each one for different reasons. Crusade is, by far, the most fun of the saga (and it hash Shean Connery). Raiders has pretty much most of the iconic scenes from the series, which really makes it stand out more. A perfect duology of movies, if you ask me. I'll grant you the bridge scene is very cool and one of the most memorable things on the series (I'll throw in the hat roll as a bonus too), but other than that it's a very annoying movie. I don't know how much of a hot take this is, but I do not like Short Round. He has a few moments I enjoy, but he's pretty annoying the rest of the movie. The opening is the best part of the movie if you ask me.
  3. I agree! This is one of the few ones I wouldn't be utterly ashamed to have in display! Too bad it's insanely expensive.
  4. Just watched the movie with my dad (he made a joke at some point during the movie and some other dads in the theater laughed at it, so he had lots of fun). Pretty unnecesary sequel if you ask me, but as far as unnecesary sequels go, at least it was sorta fun and has a couple good moments. Hated the end, @Mandalorianknight, I agree with you on that one. Thought Mads Mikkelsen was, as usual, the best of the movie. He goes so unnecesarily hard on every single scene he's in, glad he had fun. Regarding the lego sets: Honestly, I don't know what they could've done? Like every cool vehicle was full of nazi flags, so I doubt they'd qualify anyway? Maybe Antonio Banderas' boat? I don't know, I liked the movie (sorta), but I can't think of a single scene where I thought "Man, I really need to own this as a toy". Anyway, since I know y'all love my derranged takes: This is, in my opinion, the third best Indiana Jones movie (that speaks more about how much I dislike two certain films than about this one, but alas).
  5. Walt Disney could use a head jar, tho
  6. Looks like Lego proved me right with Dumbo and Bambi! Love the camera build, tho, it looks stunning
  7. Sure, one or two wouldn't hurt, but I can't see a movie like the Lion King working as a minifigure set
  8. I don't see any of the animal lead movies working as a Lego set. You'd need every single character to be it's own unique mold that looks like the character onscreen. And at that point, why even bother at all? I'd be cheaper and easier to just get any other toys with them. See, Zootopia I can see working as minfiigures, as they'd only need a moulded head to work (ala Robin Hood)
  9. All the "Star Wars" movies are labeled "Star Wars", but only the first IJ movie is labeled "Raiders of the lost ark". Like I don't think we're getting any more sets at all, but I don't understand your reasoning here
  10. Yes, that's what I was telling to the other guy
  11. I mean, it's not like they got to see the movie before release. Like if they'd done any sets at all, they'd been designed at the verly least 1-2 years ago with concept art as a reference.
  12. Yeah, that's the one I thought.
  13. Sorry, I didn't word that properly. My point wasn't as much "Keaton is only there to bring older fans" rather than "Keaton is there to bring older fans too". As in, I think most younger comic book fans watch most superhero movies anyway, so bringing a previous batman would pander to people who don't closely follow up superhero movies anymore. Like it obviously didn't work as apparently like 4 people have seen the movie, but still.
  14. I genuinely couldn't tell which one you mean if my life depended on it, that was my reaction to 2 of them Not that I disagree with you, but the people who Keaton was targeted to was mostly older people who usually don't go to watch superhero movies anyway, like my dad (well maybe not mine, he said he can't wait to torrent the movie). My point being that outside of internet I never heard anything about Miller in the news or anything like that. Granted, maybe the whole thing was actually better covered in the states and not so much outside of it. Speaking of which, I don't think I've seen any trailer for the movie on TV or cinemas now that I come to think of if? Maybe the lack of international advertising is not helping the movie either. Yeah, I think its not just one thing but a whole combination of small things that killed the movie.
  15. I sort of dig the Spider-man set, but I totally see why you (or anyone else, for that matter) wouldn't. It looks very weird, and strange and if you don't like it from the getgo you probably wont like it after a while. Not one of those "adquired taste" sets.
  16. I do like that about it. I think the art sets should go for weirder and more creative concepts rather than the very boring to build pixelart style dots system. Ehhh, personally not a fan of his latest works.
  17. You just answered your own question
  18. So pretty cool? Like I'm not going to tell you what you should like or not, I just don't see the point of getting a minifigure that doesn't look like the character we saw in the movie.
  19. You're right, we got to see the best Batman one last time. I know, right? Like, I know they didnt know how big of a role the batmobile would play in the movie. But like c'mon, they knew Supergirl was in, it would've made more sense to go for the plane. Not that it matters anymore!
  20. I think it would be really funny if a character with 5 minutes of screentime gets better prints that the main avengers, actually
  21. Tbf that's just my guess. I hope I'm right for once, tho! Omg this actually checks out. But now that I think of it, doesn't it seem like Wolverine is getting way more stuff than anyone else here?
  22. Why would it look jarring tho? Like at most it would look like a wolf with grey furr wearing grey clothes. Not much different to White Vision.
