So for August we are looking at a chess set, a flying class moment set?, a brick built creature of some type (probably Fawkes) and two other PS/CoS sets yet to be revealed/rumoured?
-
Just saw that so is that a definite confirmation? As in chess set only, no other side builds
-
True, true, but I just can't imagine many people leaping for a $250 chess set. If it has the other rooms included like some Harry Potter battle of both recreation then maybe but alone it seems a bit meh at least to me
-
It does seem a bit strange though I see the appeal. Are we sure the sets aren't the other way round with a $120 chess board and some other $250 set?
-
Surely it's a necessity to have a normal Quirrell figure in the Philosopher's stone challenges/fluffy sets? That's like removing Darth Vader from the Bespin Duel set. Has a minifigure list not been leaked yet?

Ah okay thanks. The scout trooper helmet will look really interesting with the angular filter and visor, should be fun to build! -

Welcome to our merry band and speaking of the UCS AT-AT is it actually confirmed? Last I checked it was that or a UCS Death Star being discussed? Could we also get a new list of the piece counts and price tags for the summer sets if it wouldn't be to much trouble as I've lost track of what sets we are expecting this summer -

Is the Darth Vader Meditation Chamber an actual set which you can buy on Lego.com or is it some exclusive you can only get through shopping in some store hundreds of miles away -
An expansion of the Lego micro-hogwarts with the remainder of the main buildings or just a brand new smaller, complete, version of micro-Hogwarts as I think a complete castle would look great
-
Two student minifigures eh? I could imagine them throwing in a Weasley twin with Neville or Angelina/Katie. I guess they could also just use both twins? Does anyone have any opinions on Lego making it realistic to the scene so Neville and Draco or something like that?
-
Thought so, it would be nice to get some robed minifigs rather than just force-feeding us the jumper ones
-
Out of interest have we actually received any robed Ravenclaws or Hufflepuffs? As far as I can recall Susan Bones came with a standard jumper torso, so did Cho Chang, Luna and Hannah Abbott. Cedric's Tri-wizard outfit is close but at least in my opinion doesn't really count.
-
Yeah I think Harry, Neville and Nott make up those who can see the thestrals in their fifth year class. It is conceivable (to me at least) that Lego do not give Nott/Pike a name and throw him in as a "Slytherin student" figure to avoid mixups if he was to appear in a set
-
I'm fairly tempted by the minifigure selection of a pseudo-Crabbe and pseudo-Goyle which will be a nice way to get the pair as I think we only got one in the 2010-2011 waves but the build does look a bit meh so I have fairly low hopes for that
-
There's also a nice Madam Pomfrey minifigure in the background. What are the chances for the third Harry Potter cms they use it to fill in some of the Hogwarts gaps we are missing so professors like Pomfrey, Professor Binns (though for some reason I feel like he is coming in a set next wave?), the centaur bloke Firenze, Grubbly plank and Madam Pince too as they also appear in the film briefly. Maybe some ghosts could appear like the Bloody Baron, Grey Lady, Fat Friar and Peeves?
-
I was surprised they did not produce a Philospher's Stone bathroom set with a Troll and the magical trio as it is one of the more iconic scenes from the book and film, but maybe it'll come in the summer wave *A cheap Cornish Pixie DADA classroom scene with Lockhart, Harry and Hermione with moulded pixie's would be fantastic too but I doubt that will ever happen :)
-
Perhaps they could do what they did in the Years 1-4 Lego Harry Potter video game with the legs as I know it's a video game but that doesn't look overtly complicated I mean they do similar things with stormtroopers and clone troopers.

Okay thanks. I was semi-suspicious that it was all an elaborate hoax -

On a different topic than the gunship, could someone give their opinion on how likely the rumoured Gideon’s light cruiser set actually is on a scale of 1-10 and when we will know the remaining Summer Wave set names, (or at least I think it’s the summer wave). -
$250 UCS forbidden forest anyone?

Thanks, I hadn't heard about the probe droid statue, if it's similar in piece scale to the Baby Yoda statue it should look really good -
Yeah, I'm still semi-bitter at lego for the lack of clone-related sets but that's another matter. I can imagine them leaving Hagrid out of a forbidden forest set and just running with a Voldemort/Quirrel, unicorn, Harry, Draco and the centaur bloke who I can't remember the name of

On a new note, what are we expecting in the new spring wave? Is it just helmets or does it include the Bad Batch shuttle stuff or is that all in the summer wave -
I guess they view Hagrid as similar to Harry, Ron and Hermione where you just throw it in as an iconic character hence why they place him in a bunch of appropriate sets. Though, speaking of Hagrid variants, we haven't had a jacketless Hagrid variant yet soo one more new variant couldn't hurt...
