  1. Thanks. Interesting how this is in the adult line, despite being fairly small compared to others in the line. If we started getting more display-oriented small to mid-size sets that would be really, really great.
  2. Where’s everyone seeing the Bespin Duel? I can’t find it
  3. I just want them to scale the TIEs and alphabet-wing sets down slightly to put them in a more manageable price range :( More than 70 for a single seat fighter feels preposterous
  4. Ha! Personally, I’m willing to bet the Bad Batch will improve vastly as characters in the series. Just about every Star Wars animated entry has started a little rough and improved from there. Plus, in the Bad Batch arc, Rex was the main character. They were in the background. I’m excited to see what they do in the spotlight.
  5. I guess now that I’ve gotten over the initial shock of the figures I’m ready to start thinking about the builds. TROS is my least favorite SW film but that Night Buzzard is actually really neat looking. It’s a new design, and a good one at that, something I felt the Sequels were sorely lacking. In the end I likely won’t be getting it, but it actually had me thinking about having it as a compliment to the TROS Falcon I won in a raffle. Props to Lego for tempting me with a nice looking set. The AAT looks vastly inferior to the Clone Wars version, but does feel like it’s at a better scale. I’m gonna be grabbing two for those 332nd troopers either way. Zero interest in the I-TS, and while I think the final duel is actually really good looking, it’s way too expensive. Same with the Soulless One. I got Grievous’ Wheel Bike and the Utapau Troopers back when those came out so I don’t need any of those figures either. I’m on the fence about the interceptor. It’s a nice build either way, and would likely display well next to his delta fighter, but the value just isn’t there for me. I need a robed, non-burnt Anakin but it still has that darned headpiece.....
  6. The Kashyyyk droids... were always AAT drivers.... My whole life is a lie. Thanks for correcting me on that, guys. Now I'm mad at Lego for confusing me You're right, this makes sense in the scene. I stand corrected. The only issue I see now is desirability of that figure... I feel like if I were a kid I'd prefer a more "default" Obi-Wan that I could apply to more play scenarios.
  7. I feel like there's gotta be an explanation for these weird filler minifigs. Like, Kashyyyk droids, maybe that was deliberate, but burnt Mustafar Obi-Wan? There's gotta be something fishy going on there, right? Maybe the pandemic prevented their engineers from being able to set up the production lines to create the new figs they hadn't done yet, so they substituted in stuff that was already in production? It would make sense that since they already had one Obi Wan in production. It just seems below Lego's standards to do something like that so I feel like there's gotta be something up.
  8. @Lego-Freak Happy to be here, and appreciate the welcoming words! Gah. That's a bummer. The Ashoka and 332nd are really exciting, but Kashyyyk droids? I already had two from the AT-DP, so these will be an army boost for me, but they seem so out of place in that set... Also kinda irked that we don't get a new Rex. I might be in the minority on this, but I think the P2 Clone Wars version is really strange looking. I'd like one to combine the new P2/realistic P1 designs. Oh well, TCW killed it in streaming stats in May so hopefully Lego will see that as an incentive to bring him along in a future wave.
  9. Hi everyone, Been lurking on this page for a long while and finally decided to make an account to talk about this new wave. Am I the only one who gets the sense that the minifigure photos in this wave aren’t final? The really specialized/desirable figures (Knights of Ren, 332nd, Ashoka) seems to be complete, but the lower priority/less desirable/less rare figures (AAT Battle Droids, Obi Wan) are using recent versions of figures that don’t even match their name. (See Kashyyyk droid placed over two differently named battle droid classes). I dunno, I’m just getting the vibe that because these aren’t final set pictures/meant to be released yet, certain figures might be placeholders. It wouldn’t surprise me, as the pandemic could be making it difficult to coordinate physical photoshoots with new figures that weren’t ready before this all went down.
