  1. Uh I suppose I could do some of those, though I must ask, where do you want me to put the pictures? Because I dont think I can send them through here, maybe a direct contact to you through messenger or something idk. However the chanel 'ProC' has most of the sets including the Giganotosaurus set, and he shows them off compared to other sets etc so I would recommend that to you, I will say his organisation isn't the best, especially compared to the professionallism of channels like jangbricks etc. But in saying that I highly doubt I could do anybetter photography haha.
  2. Np Uh, idk, isn't it a saying lol? Like your confident enough to make a statement maybe? Yeah, the sets are awesome, they all feel nice to add to my collection, I have a different perspective to most of you as far as builds go tho, because I collect Jurassic World exclusively (with the exception of the 2012 Lego Dino dinosaurs). The dinosaurs and flying reptiles themselves for the most part are similar to previous releases I suppose. Atrociraptors are basically like the juvenile Dilophosaurus, but their molds are cool, I like how sleek but at the same time, bulky they are. However I must say, the orange and brown Atrociraptor (either red, tiger or panthera) looks a bit.. derpy? But only really if you look at it head on (like if both of its nostrils are straight to your face I mean). But other than that they are cool figures, only really needs more articulation but that's the sacrifice that's been made to have more accurately sized figures I suppose. Also ghost the Atrociraptor looks really cool and menacing, kindoff like a small version of the 2015 Indominus rex. Velociraptor Beta is really what you'd expect, it's still cool nonetheless, but nothing too special. The Quetzalcoatlus is just awesome, it is so weird having a giant pterosaur just sitting next to the other Pteranodons, just absolutely dwarfs them. I love it's colour scheme, reminds me a lot of something like a pelican I suppose. It also unfortunately suffers a tiny bit from a lack of articulation, the wings being able to move like 360 degrees or whatever it would be is cool but its head always shooting up as it's placed in a sitting position really takes away from the figure overall, quote disappointing how just 1 Little neck movement could entirely change someone's thoughts on a figure. But overall I am extremely grateful and glad Lego created it, I would have never guessed they would do a Quetzalcoatlus, it is very awesome. Then I guess it's just recolours, let's start with the triceratops, obviously it's meant to be a Nasutoceratops, unfortunately Lego didn't make a new head mold but whatever, its still a cool triceratops whether or not it has the skin of a different species, it's assymetrically printed and you can tell by its scars all around its body. Maybe this is supposed to be an individual dinosaur in dominion. Next I want to talk about blue, she is amazing! I love how Lego has her colours correct, and the printing of the assymetrical stripes on her eyes. The little details of like creamy white I think it is on her legs and body stand give her a bit more detail so it's not just a bland grey colour, and I think it just makes her look beautiful. An amazing figure, the only problem being that this time she's too big haha, though i dont care too much about scale, it's not like the movies themselves are all that consistent anyways lol. The Pteranodon also just has a nice colour scheme, creating more variety amongst your flock of pterosaurs, ever since the movie came out I remember seeing the Pteranodons with different coloured crests, and I always wanted more colours like that. And especially when the Lego Jurassic World video game came out, I enveyed so many creatures and the colours from it lol. Also the little babies from the Atrociraptor ghost set, they are very unique and interesting looking, a little bit strange looking albeit but still nice additions for anyone's baby Dinosaur army if you were to ask me. And someone pointed out, can't remember who sorry, that it's supposed to be a fighting ring in the set, and from the trailer lastly, the Tyrannosaurs, the normal one which comes with the orange Atrociraptor, is a nice colour, reminds me of coffee beans lol, kindoff murky gold colour with a creamy white underbelly make it look quite fitting for Malta tbh, overall I like it. Then the juniors rex, I like it lol, its colours are so like bright it just feels so nice, a more vivid(?) And especially contrasted with the dark brown patterns makes it stand out a lot, this one reminds me of mint ice cream haha. Or like the 'gallimimus' (I have just called it ceolophysis lol) from the 2015 polybag, has similar colours and patterns. Anyways those are just my breif thoughts on them, any questions about the figures just ask me, have a nice day. Yeah haha, I was hoping to find them at Kmart and, well as you know, they were there, 7 of them anyways, I want to go out to more Kmart's and hope they have the other sets, at least the Pyroraptor and Giganotosaurus sets, I doubt anyone could find a Jurassic World polybag in Australia, though saying that I have clear memories of seeing other themes polybags at Woolworths, but that is too hard to track down so I will probably just get it off of eBay or something. Then the Jurassic Park set, either just buy from the Lego website itself, or go down to the new Lego store that opened in WA.
  3. I got every set that was on the shelf lol, both juniors sets, both Atrociraptor sets, the blue set, triceratops set and Quetzalcoatlus set. Not bad tbh, now I just need the polybag, Pyroraptor set, Giganotosaurus set and the Jurassic Park set. Also it's safe to say I will run out of room now haha
  4. Kmart trip was very successful today, found 7 sets lol.
  5. Parasaurolophus, Pachycephalosaurus, Mosasaurus, Sinoceratops, Nasutoceratops, Tyrannosaurus.
  6. That would be interesting lol, 2 of the same species but with different molds in the same wave of sets. So i guess that Mattel toy means there will be like a blue vs red haha?
  7. Yeah, bigger Woolworths basically lol, basically just like target, though they are disappearing unfortunately. Also there has to be more sets now right? They can't have just missed the main characters like Lewis Dodgson, Barry and now the new character Ramsey. The other two Atrociraptors I can understand why they didn't make but still, very odd.
  8. All of the sets at big w are cheaper, I hope this doesn't mean they are going out of business. That would suck
  9. Kmart has all the sets (except the polybag) listed on their website, including the set Lego hasn't revealed lol. https://www.kmart.com.au/search/?searchTerm=lego+jurassic+world Edit: The Jurassic Park set is also absent which makes sense, however the Pyroraptor set is also missing, a bit strange lol, but I'm sure it will be on shelves. The Pyroraptor set is being sold online at big w if that helps anyone https://www.bigw.com.au/product/lego-jurassic-world-pyroraptor-dilophosaurus-transport-76951/p/204399 Also I'm relieved the Giganotosaurus set isn't ridiculously priced lol, I was really expecting a $260 AUD price tag, but Kmart has it for $170 AUD which is cool, glad it's reasonably converted haha, not like some of the other sets
  10. Well I mean, they are promoting the movie, it makes sense for them to go all out and make the lego themes logo, the dominion logo. Doesn't really matter too much lol Also someone made a really cool Jurassic Park MOC, they've done a really amazing job on it https://www.instagram.com/p/CcAztMLs9u2/?utm_medium=copy_link
  11. I completely forgot about the fact that these types of sets get unique instructions, I remember the last Jurassic Park set had a few pages of like, about the designers etc, so I wonder if there'll be anything special in these. Also the foliage artwork looks great, so sharp and I love the aesthetic, really compliments the Jurassic Park logo, which looks really nice here too lol.
  12. Also on YouTube there are now ever-increasing reviews for the sets, the Jurassic Park set has so much detail I love it lol
  13. Actually both Lego and Mattel have like the exact same colours for the Giganotosaurus, so maybe it isn't grey in the movie?
  14. Ashnflash has shown a lot of good angles in the set, and I change my mind about the Giganotosaurus's body being used for Spinosaurus, it would not fit, at all lol. It slopes way too early and generally it's just too, spiky for a Spinosaurus sail
  15. Really? It should be there, like the thumbnail of the video I think it was. Well I mean it's really nothing exclusive, just the artwork of the Giganotosaurus which can be seen on the Giganotosaurus set itself Yeah, I can see what you mean, but honestly I kinda like the swampy dark green and black, it reminds me of mint lol. My complaint would probably be the lack of a hair piece for Alan Grant, I was hoping they would just recolour Owens hair grey and have the hairpiece as a little bonus in the set like what they do sometimes. But at least younger Alan grant has his hair piece in the Jurassic Park set lol.
  16. uh, well i think the US lego shop stopped preorders for the jurassic park set for a while if thats what you mean? But i sent the link because if you scroll down you can see the giganotosaurus
  17. Guys you'll never believe this, I got bored and went on the lego store again, and i went on the jurassic park set and thought it was weird it released may 6 instead of april 17 like the other sets and then i saw the giganotosaurus art work from the box art but as like a banner!! I can't upload the screenshot because it takes up too much space and it won't let me send it but go on the lego store yourself and scroll down on the jurassic park set, do you think they'll reveal it soon? Ah, thats cool. Can't be bothered though haha. I'll just wait. also https://www.lego.com/en-au/product/t-rex-breakout-76956
  18. oh cool, like CodFather1 has stated, Ashnflash has found most of the sets in store. But I feel its just the american region right?
  19. https://www.bigw.com.au/product/lego-jurassic-world-t-rex-atrociraptor-dinosaur-breakout-76948/p/204392 Big W has this up but only if you search, 'lego jurassic world atrociraptor', and I tried a couple other 2022 sets with a couple other stores but nothings coming up. Even searching lego jurassic world on big w's website, it doesn't come up with the set, even though through that link up there it takes me to it haha. Guess they accidently released it or something.
  20. Baryonyx's head wouldn't fit well, just because they both have long crocodilian snouts doesn't mean they are the same. There are differences like Spinosaurus being bigger, or the little Allosaurus crests that the Jurassic Park Spinosaurus has etc. I would love that lol, it would be so cool with the flowing water and the log and just general foliage. Maybe a redwoods tree and of course the Minifigures of Ian Malcolm, Sarah Harding, Nick Van Owen and Eddie Carr. And of course the Stegosaurus, maybe even the baby Stegosaurus.
  21. Yeah it is small, but, I mean it could work for Spinosaurus. Just needs a new head mold and the newer indominus arms and it would be new species that a lot of people want, and I would literally die for the lost world and jurassic park 3 sets.
  22. Yeah actually, looking back at it, the spikes are connected which is a bit strange though it might just be for safety reasons (doubt that though because, they would be blunt anyways and Lego already has sharper pieces), artistic choice to make it more lego-fied, or maybe even like moulding capabilities but I'm not entirely sure about that, someone more educated would have better knowledge if Lego finds it harder to mold individual spikes etc. And also the actual body looks to be chunkier and generally just high, so i can see a Spinosaurus getting a stripe print there so the sail looks higher, so they probably did make it that way to reuse, which is good right? cause that means if they made it so it could be reused for Spinosaurus that means the theme could be continuing?
  23. Pfft, lol Well I mean there is no evidence to suggest sets would even exist next year, although with the reception I've seen to these sets I think they might sell quite well. Though I'm not sure if that's an indication of whether or not Lego would continue this theme.
