  1. Yeah some people would hate that, some wouldnt care, but there would really only be 1 hologram dinosaur anyways right? So maybe they could just use a Ceolophysis, or a Juvenile Dilophosaurus would probably make more sense as it was in the film. Those wouldnt have any weird connections on the inside, also they are small so it would fit in better, but idk, i think mowt people would prefer a set of that scale and type to be the Visitors Centre instead. It fits ok i suppose, though maybe it looks better when its orientated differently.
  2. Oh that sounds cool! Definitely link them when you've made them, i'd love to see your work! Also i got the polybag today!
  3. Nah it's definitely just a filter, the other things in the pictures have also been filtered, just harder to notice as for example with the mattel allosaurus, has similar colours to the filter, whereas the t rex is very light green you know?
  4. That would be interesting to see. Also the central pyramind building for Jurassic World is the Samsung Innovation Center. I dont think fans would take it lightly, getting a Jurassic World Innovation center before a Jurassic Park Visitors center lol, but it would still be cool. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd2m7BJPgtn/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Are you talking about this? They've just put an instagram filter on it, the colours are normal lol. Also the lego store in my country is absolutely filled with jurassic park sets, i bought one to keep in its box.
  5. https://www.kmart.com.au/jurassic-world/ Kmart and Brickman are collaborating I guess, cause they have little instructions to make your own micro Blue and Gate, it's cool I suppose. Brickman has done a Lego Jurassic World Exhibition before.
  6. Unrelated to Lego, but you guys should definitely check out this website, its official https://www.dinotracker.com/
  7. You could also use the skull from 76949, though I'm not sure what species you would get lol
  8. One of those sets should have swapped one of the Owens or Rainns for Barry, in the trailer he is standing among the Atrociraptors
  9. It is beautiful I hadn't realised that lol Poor little Archaeopteryx, yeah, they look like feather impressions to me lol
  10. Bumpy the Ankylosaurus had an asymmetrical horn, but honestly, I doubt they would change the entire mold to have a tiny little detail most people wouldn't even notice, just look at the baby Bumpy they made in the Camp Cretaceous wave last year, its the exact same mold as the one that came in 2020. Nature is extremely colourful, its very surreal, but its reality. I believe we have some skin impressions discovered, but yes, as far as what they actually looked like, we have no idea haha. Which sucks because I would love to know more about prehistory, though I guess what's not preserved fuels the mystery of palaeontology
  11. Yeah I like it, the colours look nice on it, the only weird part about it would probably be the hollow head lol
  12. Eh, i dont see how they would fit that into the plot, but who knows. Umm, i dont know. By best do you mean accurate to its film appearance? And also 'since 2015', so can we list reprints from the lego dino line? And also by best would you include posability? I would probably say same for all but swap maybe indominus for atrociraptor
  13. I guess lego predicted the opening scene for fallen kingdom haha jk, funny coincidence though
  14. Cheers. Haha yeah you were right lol The Tiger Raptors in The Lost World had a little fight lol. The real reason would be that Red the dog was just added into the show for kids etc, again lego isnt canon to the main story so technically the dog never existed in the first place lol
  15. Looks too bulky, though who knows. They were on both islands, fallen kingdom they appear in a few scenes. Its a cliché type of binary opposition to Blue, both the Lego show and Dominion have named them probably for the same reason, who knows if they were aware while naming them. In the Lego show it was probably for Owen to decide which of the pets is better, blue vs red you know. And for dominion I'm assuming they'll have a blue vs red scene or something, but that's just my guess anyways. Uh, I can't remember if red was in double trouble or not but I mean if you wanted to make them like canon for whatever reason, I guess the most logical explanation would be that it died of natural causes or as you said, had an unfortunate encounter while adventuring through an island full of dinosaurs lol, though there are other ways for it to die like falling in a pit for example, we'll just say red got reincarnated haha, get its revenge on Owen for neglecting it jk.
  16. cheers, I wouldn't think too much of it, not like lego is canon haha. Though I wonder what species is hiding behind the tree in the bottom left corner? Troodon or something haha, maybe Moros Intrepidus or something dominion related. Also little easter egg, the tree on the right is from the 2020 Indominus Rex vs Ankylosaurus set
  17. https://www.mombooks.com/book/lego-jurassic-world-alan-grants-missions-activity-book-with-alan-grant-minifigure/ Same minifigure as the one in the biggest set
  18. Yeah, thats a better way to describe it haha Huh, never noticed that, i guess thats something a lot of reprints get, eyes not staying consistent, sometimes looking a bit cartoonish like this triceratops tbh, but it isnt too bad. Yeah lol, personally I dont mind the difference too much and honestly, probably better they went with tan rather than grey, im imagining the colours matching on the figure, grey horns looks a bit strange haha, the tan contrasts a lot better.
  19. Now I can't tell if its dark brown or dark purple haha, I think it is purple, but either way yeah, the box art and other images of it show the triceratops as having a really vibrant red, which isn't the case, though in all honesty it kinda makes it look more natural which is cool. Little spikes, as you have said, are printed on a dark plastic so they suffer the same fate given to a lot of Legos minifigures. Though while we are on the topic of the triceratops, do you think the underside of its head should have been dual molded like the other triceratops'? It being the same colour as the rest of its head and cutting off from the rest of its body which is dual-molded looks a bit strange, though it definitely isn't the worst, I think Therizinosaurus might win in that regard.
  20. Hmm, i had a thought today, you guys know how we believe that the camp cretaceous line was supposed to be a wave 2 to the Jurassic World Dominion wave? Doesn't that sortoff indicate that they were already making more sets post-dominion? They probably made the camp cretaceous sets in 2021 to, for a lack of better words, cash in on the show while it had a peak of popularity? Seemingly with each new season (with one exception haha, but that was released after the sets were planned, produced and distributed obviously) im not sure, really the only way to find out is to wait :/
  21. Haha, i just saw the scenes and tgought, 'hey look, Lego is making more sets that are accurate to the film'.
  22. Cool! It looks like a cool and highly detailed set. Perhaps it's success will give Lego a reason to make more sets from that game?
  23. Did you find the set lol?
  24. Wow they are amazing sets!!! I love this whole wave so much!! Still have the polybag and jurassic park sets to go but I will get them eventually. The Biosyn Eurocopter is really satisfying to build, just like the 2015 Masranis Eurocopter, it all connects so elegantly and the shape of it when building is just so cool to see! And the Jeep Gladiator (pretty sure thats what it is) looks fantastic! The Pyroraprors head feathering honestly doesn't look that bad in person, and from a front view it kinda looks like it fans out a little, but not as much as its tail. The Giganotosaurus and Therizinoaaurus are cool new species aswell, though that body piece cannot be reused for Spinosaurus, it won't work. Also I don't think anyone's talked about how the Giganotosaurus has a little bit of a different shade of green under its black pattern that blends it into the dual molded underbelly (fairly certain its dual molded but I'm not an expert in Lego so take my words lightly lol). The Therizinosaurus is nice, though I can't ignore the hands, it looks quite strange lol. (Also in the build there are two screens with dinosaurs and in every review of the set I've seen people say it's a therizinosaurus (which is correct) and the Giganotosaurus (obviously they are assuming that it's just silhouettes of the dinosaurs included in the set) which is nor correct, it's a t.rex..)
