as much as I don't like that it exists, I kind of like the look of the car. Its very sleek. -

if you look closely, it appears that Zane is in the raider -
I'm not sure how to feel about this wave. The Hogsmeade looks great and will fit well with the previous sets, only thing its really missing is Hagrid and the ministers sled (I know they weren't in the rumors, but I still think they would've been cool in the set) I'm personally very happy with how fluffy looks especially compared to the old one, however I can definitely understand people that have the opposite opinion. Overall that set looks ok, but I'm not a fan of all the holes that seem to be on the side, they desperately need windows (they might have them, cant tell). also love that harp! The bathroom looks ok. not really much going on, but I like that there is at least one stall. Hermione is exciting, and I personally don't really care that its just a block. Also, kind of confused how it all goes together. the chamber entrance should be by the sink, but then what are those pins for? Now the big one. I'm pretty disappointed by this. obviously it will be improved, but going off this picture, it looks like kind of a mess. The holes in the rocks of the great hall are ugly, and the tower looks way to blocky for my liking. That chamber entrance looks very strange, with what seems to be a small tower, but its facing the same way as the entrance. This all goes back to my confusion of how this all connects. The basilisk looks ok, but it doesn't look like it has much articulation which is disappointing, but I suppose any more would make it more like the 2018. Head on that looks fantastic. I'm not gonna judge the minifigs yet cus 1, I can barely see them/they are prelims and 2, I'm too lazy I'm gonna get them all as I'm a completionist with this theme, but overall I think the wave is ok, but far from anything special and all the sets we have seem these past 3 year (with the exception of Hogsmeade) Also I'm curious why the golden figs are in non of the pictures, my guess is that they are in a separate section of the catalog like Ninjago. Excited to see those aswell, wonder if they will have stands Sorry for the long post, just had a lot of thought!

From what I can tell the fire dragon looks pretty good, just a little light on the figs. That raider looks terrible tho! I have a feeling it might be a bad angle, but it looks so small -
I think they meant that they are not indented to be combined with the current line, but I don't remember exactly what the article said.

if I remember correctly the fire dragon is 70, but don't quote me on that -
I'm not saying this theme will or wont fail, but Mario has the license on its side. Despite this theme also technically being licensed, it doesn't have the draw of icon characters like Mario. Even gimmick wise the Mario sets are more interesting imo.

I may have said this before, but personally, as long as the quality the theme has shown these past 3 years stays, I think I will be happy with nearly anything as long as they are not remakes of anything from 2018 and up.

Is it possible the ninja are placeholders? Idk why Zane would be as I assume his possession fig would already have been in production when this image was made, but I know pics like theses tend to have changes in figs (first thing that comes to mind is the exclusion of Garmadon from the bounty last year) -
Definitely gonna get the llama beatbox to give the theme a try, after that I'll probably only get any others if I find a good sale. As for the bandmates, my only 2 must haves are the shark and ice cream guys. Id love to get them all, but unless there are different QR codes, I just cant see it happening for me.

76391 - $249.99 (D2C) - Gringotts - DH 76392 - $59.99 - Ministry of Magic - new non-DH (OotP based) 76393 - $119.99 - Durmstrang ship/second task - remake, golden Dumbledore (imo he would fit better in Gringotts, but he is here to fit the requirements of the prompt) 76394 - $39.99 - Niffler - non-minifig scale 76395 - $29.99 - Quidditch - 2018 remake (prob too cheap, but I couldn't image it being 60) I would honestly be super happy if this was the actually wave. only things I would change would be a DH tent instead of the quidditch and maybe the swap the ministry for a new shrieking shack (however that one I would be more ok with than the quidditch)

he also could have mistaken carnage with spiderman, which would make alot of sense color-wise. -

With the fire dragon now being a legacy set, that means that 2/3 4+ also have 'normal' sets. Can't help but wonder if this raises the likelihood of another electro mech coming in the future. You could even say that 3/4 have normal sets if you have the S1 destiny bounty correlate with the S4/S5 one. -

Kinda wish the golden figs were switched so we could get all the og 4 ninja in the raider, but im super excited that the fire dragon is a legacy set -
I think the problem is the stand and cowl are both black. It worked ok for the tie pilot, but batman not being completely filled in makes it look weird. Also not really a fan of all the exposed studs on the side, but im hopeful it will look decent in official pics and in person.

Personally, the august wave would only disapointed me if it was flooded with remakes (remakes being from 2018 on). Other than that as long as the quality the hp sets have had since the reboot continues, I will likely be satisfied. Also big thanks to @Guyon2002 and @Falconfan1414 for everything they've done! I was thinking about a HP chess board when the board game description for this years advent calendar came out. If that doesn't end up being a chess board (no clue how they would do it, but that's the only thing I could imagine board game meaning) then I would be interested to see a set dedicated to it. I don't think it would be that much. 40174 was only 55, and while the HP one would likely be bigger and obviously be licensed, I still cant imagine it being over 100, maybe 120 to fit in with the current price list. It would also be cool if it has the option to replace the two pieces with Harry and Hermione (still including those pieces), and of course put Ron on the knight
-
new fig just leaked, no idea who it is tho (for all I know its not even HP, but im pretty sure it is)
-
anyone know the ppp on the mountain (if it is 170). I could prob do it myself, but im just being lazy on second thought, do we even have a piece count for it???
-
That mountain is amazing!!! I love all of the monkey figs. Really hope it is less than 200, but I expect it to be more.

Thanks!
