  1. Thank you Cheers, that is quite a compliment!
  2. Thank you! Thanks, I think so too. Though a little less terrain perhaps ;) Thanks, me too. Cheers. Thanks, I am a fan of your Fabuland builds too!
  3. Thank you! Thank you, though I can;t take credit for the locomotive, it is based on the one from the BrickLink Logging Railway set.
  4. A Neo Fabuland Train Station This build is part of a larger display I'm developing for exhibition next year, where I'll be revisiting and expanding on the concept of Neo Fabuland—a reinterpretation of the classic Fabuland aesthetic, much like how Neo-Classic Space draws inspiration from the original Classic Space theme. If you're curious, you can read more about the goals of the project here. I currently have several builds in progress for this display, and this is the second one to be completed. This build is not inspired by an existing Fabuland set. It features a stucco rendered brick train station building with a tiled roof on a stone platform perched on a hilltop. The build includes a cutaway bridge underpass and rounded rocks as well as my spreading tree technique. The train in this build is based on the engine from 910035 Logging Railway and also showcases my approach to Neo Fabuland windows, using brick-built frames with vinyl-cut sticker panes to echo the distinctive charm of original Fabuland designs.
  5. Thanks, I am very happy with it.
  6. Thanks, glad you like it. I had a lot of fun working out the water.
  7. Thank you, I am definitely trying to lean into the fairytale/picture story book aesthetic for Neo Fabuland. I was particularly happy with the door, though I must admit I could not work out the 1/4 stud panel inset, my friend Owen solved that one for me!
  8. Thank you, it is something I put quite a lot of thought into, but I must say doesn't always work out the way I plan ;) Thank you, glad you like it! Thanks, I am really enjoying being back in Fabuland. Thanks, will do!
  9. Thank you, I tried to include as much brick built detail as possible, and I love cutaways. I was really unsure whether the water effect would work when I started, but I am very happy with how it turned out. Thanks! Thank you. No, I have no idea how many parts I used. Thank you!
  10. I have recently completed a Neo Fabuland build that I am calling Maximillian’s Watermill that I am hoping you might like. The build features a weathered stone-and-timber watermill structure beside a millpond, complete with a waterwheel, lilypads, reeds, and rounded rocks. The water cascades over the rocks to form a small waterfall. I’m especially pleased with the textures throughout—the flowing water, the stonework, and the building itself. You can find more details and more photos here if you are interested: https://harrisbricks.com/project/maximillians-watermill/
  11. This build is Gyldenspir Castle, inspired by 375 Castle but reimagined as a renaissance era palace using the range of pieces and building techniques now available. You can read about my aims for this project in the blog post I wrote when I started (though ignore the bit about curves, as I changed my mind about that ;)). More photos here if you are interested: https://harrisbricks.com/project/gyldenspir-castle/
  12. Thanks! Thank you! Thank you, though I did make a conscious decision not to include any antagonists in this build, as when it comes down to it they are long gone in the timeline and now the real antagonist is the hostile environment of Krysto and time.
  13. Thank you, I am pretty happy with how it turned out! Thank you! Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Thank you! Thanks, I was pretty happy when I worked out how to achieve the dome. Thanks! Thank you! You can always build your own take ;)
  14. Thanks! Thank you! Thank you! Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! Thank you!
  15. This build is Ice Station Icarus on the planet Krysto, inspired by Ice Planet 2002 but using the range of pieces and building techniques now available. The colour scheme and styling of this build will hopefully be recognisable to any fan of the original LEGO Ice Planet 2002 sets (1993-1994), though I have broadened the colour scheme ever so slightly for my post-apocalyptic Ice Planet setting. More photos can be found here: https://harrisbricks.com/project/ice-station-icarus/
  16. Thank you! Thanks, I appreciate it!
  17. Thanks for your support!
  18. Oh it is Ice Planet, rest assured. Though it is not meant to be Ice Planet 2002, but my own Ice Planet reimagining, Ice Planet Badlands, set 30 years after a great war on Krysto. The gate you are trying to keep is 'what can and cannot be ice planet'.
  19. Thanks for your support! Cheers, I had a comment on Flickr about adding some more black to the dark grey areas as if it was remnants of worn off paint so I reckon that might work well, so will have a look at adding some in in a few areas.
