Well i got my 2008 catalogue today and all of last year sets and the new jan set were in it. Apart from the Hoth base, so i would say that is the final word on this set :-( . Hope you managed to get at least one guys.

Ok i addded pics from BL to make this easier. first we have full droids. R1-G4 R2-D2 R2-D5 R2-R7 R5-D4 (Sandcrawler version) R5-D4 Then our poor unbodied droids. :-D R4-G9 R4-P17 It is a real shame lego has not given us bodies and legs for those last two droids :-( as for all the different numbers for the droids you could be there forever. :-D just make some up X-D

Awesome find *wub* !!!! I wonder why the side gun pods have been left out? It could be like that in the new cartoon i suppose. As vader said it does not look too much different than the last set but if it isn't broken :-D

EP2 clones here we come!!!!!! Those are EP2 clones on the outside of the boxes!!! It looks like we could be getting lots of different types too! :-P

I got 10176 Walking AT-AT for christmas :-P .

Well there are things i have in mind for the main base (door, hanger and trenches). This will be spread over 6 XL baseplates. The ion cannon will be fully incorperated in and i have seen some shield genarators done with 16 top pieces (which i already have) from the old 7190 falcon i think could look even better with some tweeking. :-) The main doors will be like the ones from the recent hoth base set but 4X bigger. The hanger must be big enough for 6 snowspeeders, 2-3 X-wings and the falcon (no roof on the hanger as i don't see the point). some kind of command center would be nice also. Outside the base will probaby look a lot like fellow Eurobricks member Morten Sonne stunning hoth battle as i also have a few of those lovely white baseplates.

The Tie Defender eh, that is one great ship *wub* . I wonder if the RGS will be to much different from the first model. I have seen quite a few mocs of this set in my time but none are drasticly different from the first release. The only real change people try to make is to the side and wing gun pods.

It definitely looks like the one on Bricklink sinner. It just has new packaging.

Nice review aayla! When you see the set next to the at-te you can really appreciate the size of the set. I can't wait to get a few of these :-) .

Thanks for the great comments guys. To answer some of the questions, the whole cannon rotates and pivots up and down, the gun piece does not move (in the movie it recoils into the main structure)but i might change that. The whole thing is made of the single finger hinge plates under the outer skin, to get the round shape.

I have finally started my Hoth diorama :-) after what seems like a long time since my last MOC. This is going to be a WIP MOC as i still have lots to get, but i wanted to get some thoughts on ther first part of the build. I started with the rebel ION cannon (planet defender) which proved more tricky than i thought it would :-D . The pics are of a 90% finished model that will be fully incorperated into the hoth landscape in the end. Let me know what you think. A reference pic as requested

A great review Doctor Sinister. What a beautifull set *wub* ! Both the truck and the jeep are like stunning MOCs somebody worked for hours on. The whole indy line is looking very good!

Well after coming out of my dark age in 99 it has to be the 00's for me. The last few years have seen so many great set sets that i have found it so hard to stick to my main theme (star wars if didn't know :-D ). The creator sets have tempted me to by a few of them and the city line with the construction, the docks and so many great houses has never look so good. I know i fit glyman's statement about the star wars fans pefectly :-P , but for me the lego line has never looked stronger than now!

Why not use the inventory page (on BL) from the set you are moding that way you can change the parts with the link for each part to the colour you are after. If it is the 6212 x-wing you are working from here is a quick Link.
