I would guess that the new MTT *wub* is the most figs ever with one set. Now i am sure someone will tell me i am wrong :-D

My dark age started when i was 12 and deceided to sell my lego ( :'-( a sad day) to fund my other toy phase of star wars figures (the old kenner ones). It took me 13 years to come out of when the star wars lego line started back in 1999. Now closing in rapidly on the ripe old age of 34 i have more lego than i ever dreamed of as a kid so things have worked out ok. I do however regret selling some of the wonderfull sets that i owned as a kid. Loads of classic space and the now legendary yellow castle. So if you are a young member here and you do have a dark age, i can offer you this little bit of advice. DO NOT SELL YOUR LEGO!!! You will regret it if you do.

Very nice review *vader* . I am really struggling on whether or not i should buy this set or the dwarf mine set. In fact the whole castle line has been one huge temptation for me :-D . The problem is i know if i buy one set from this great line i will want them all :-D . I don't think my wife would be very pleased if i was buying all of 2 lego lines X-D .

Well star wars was the line that bought me out of a very long dark age so it has to be that for my number 1. The creator line has been such a great line for diversity of sets and loads of great parts :-) .

Lego is a expensive hobby, but only if you want everything. If you do then look out for sales and deals and if you hear about one don't wait, check it out straight away. There is nothing worse than missing a good deal :-D . I once managed to get 2 UCS X-wings for

:-D They have such a poor star wars selection in there! loads of half price UCS batmobile though 8-

It is a real shame for castle fans but it must be that the first sets did not sell to well in argos :'-( . There were a few sets on sale which normaly means it has not been a great seller. I am very please for the star wars sets though, but i wonder why they are not stocking the hailfire driod set? Argos is my closest toy shop (there really is nothing else nearby) so it is very good news for me. :-)

The new argos catalogue is out today and they have lots of new lego and nearly all of the january 2008 star wars sets. They even have the motorised AT-AT!

I don't know if that was ment as a joke TT :-) but i think Star Trek could be a great licence as well. It already has a huge fan base and a lot of collectors (just like star wars). However i also think the star wars line will not end in 2011, as if it did you know that MB would try to snap it up. I don't think TLC or lucas will want this to happen, it would be very bad business.

You lucky bugger. I still have not seen any 2008 star wars set in my local shops >:-( .
