Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
Lion King replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow, that is a good deal for sure. -
How come we don’t get the updated version of Fluffy the Cerberus since 2001? I’m hoping we would get the updated version next year!

I agree with you on temple’s facade! I think Lego should ditch fair vendors and focus on temple’s full building. Oh well. But I got both Templre Fair and Lion Dance. I think it’s perfect dominator. I’m sooooooo excited about Spring Lantern Festival set. The garden, pond, bridge, lanterns. It is absolutely vibrant and beautiful! I may get Story of Ian because of Ox guy. I have Pig and Rat guys so far. I think it’s best to get a female Tiger mascot in 2022 (I am not asking about Tiger Woman from CMF S14). :) -

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion

Yes! I think archeology/paleontology sets would be cool for sure! I agree with your thoughts on ocra/whale as part of yacht harbor or container sets! I could imagine how playful it would be. You are right about new stingray and fish figures. It’s much better! I think hammerhead shark is a new one too, right? If Lego could complete orca/whale, they could do Mosasurus for Jurassic World sets. Gotcha. I was like “uhhh” as I imagined how large hello Peter could be for that ship’s landing site. -
Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Yup, I agree. We do not know anything about sets at the moment. But you are right that we might have 1 or sets in 2021 that are not relating to Jurassic World: Dominon so it won’t spoil plot much. I think a few sets may relate to Camp Cretaceous, Jurassic Park III or completely make-up by lego designers. Still we have no solid evidence. Also, I agree with you taht i doubt any of these sets would be based on Battle at Big Rock for sure. But hey, Allosaurus looks cool in that short film! :) -

I sure hope we would get Allosaurus in one of six sets next year! With Jurassic World: Dominion’s release date delayed to 2022, we don’t know anything about the 6 sets at the moment (we don’t know if the 2021 wave would be delayed or something). Also Allosaurus did show up in Battle at Big Rock short film but I dont know if one of these sets would be based on that short film. -
Actually two.

Wow, your first post is very interesting and enjoyable to read! I like it how you put history/information together and present a theory with us here. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! By the way, welcome to Eurobricks! :) -
Mads would be perfect for Gellert’s role!

Will that large helicopter fit in the ship’s landing sites? -
Well, I don’t know anything about Ezra Miller wanting the Flash first tho. But the delay was official a few days after Johnny Depp resigned as Gellert Grinlewald.

It looks like Fantastic Beasts 3 is delayed to summer 2022. So I dont’ think there will be any Fantast9c Beasts-related sets until 2022? Unless there would be sets that focus on first two movies of Fantastic Beasts series. I guess we will wait and see.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion

Hmm, it doesn’t look like there is any new/returning subtheme under City. We did have Mining, Jungle, Forest, Space, Ocean, Swamp, etc, sub themes between 2010 and today. I was hoping for vehicles that transports fossils away from digging sites, cursed artifacts from jungle temples, and/or mummies from Egyptian tombs all way to the museum. Crooks could know how valuable these items are! Also it’s cool for kids to explore Science (paleontology, archeology, etc). Just saying. :) Also I was hoping there would be another ocean-related sets with whale/orca figure. -
Oh ok. Thanks. I saw the menton of that bank somewhere online. I can’t remember but i was not sure if it’s just fan-made. Again, thank you.
-
Just wondering - are we going to get Gringotts Bank set next year (2021)?
-
Universal Music theme? It is really strange. Scanning the 2x2 printed tile and music is played? Well it’s a big “nah” for me because I’m profoundly deaf... However, I may collect some minifigures. I was hoping we would get Universal Monsters.

Yup, that’s what I think so too. These fictional characters were way older than Batman and Darth Vader. Yeah you are right - I remember that plain white torso part! -

Oh I forgot about Cleopatra aka The Egyptian Queen. Speaking of da Vinci.... there is an Italian Renaissance artist named Michelangelo appearing in the Lego Movie film but he never came in physical form in any sets. It was a big bummer! I would like to see some well-known historical figures showing up in CMF. Do you think Dorothy Gale and her companions are counted as “historical” figures? They only appeared in the Lego Movie Series 2. And they are definitley part of movie history. I would count da Vinci and Michelangelo as historical figures within art history. -

The garden left me speechless! Definitley, i will grab that garden set. It’s just beautiful. And The Story of Nina set is very intersting. Ox Guy is really cool! I’m so gald that TLG doesn’t forget a younger audience, they included DUPLO set! -
