I agree with everything. Though I think Harumi will become good at the end and will help Lloyd at some point. So Lloyd's villain would probably be The Crystal King (that I guess is the new form of The Overlord).
-
I thought that too. Honestly, it would be so cool. I feel a lot of homage to the origins of Ninjago in this season, I love it. I hope we can see pictures of the other sets soon.
-
Oh that would be a shame but you may be right. I hope at the end they really use those ideas because they are really cool. Just imagine that the golden power that helped the Ninja before, now is a serious threat for Ninjago and all the other realms.

While we wait for pictures of the summer sets, I would like to share something. I don't know if this can be discussed here but has someone seen the concept art that Ninjawhip has been sharing on his IG? It's for The Island, Seabound and possible future seasons. From the concept art for Seabound I like the villains more than what we got. They're more original and creative with different legs piece like shark tails and eel tails. From the concept art of the possible future seasons, I like a lot of that mysticism of The Ancient Ones, the Golden Army (they are conformed by golden skulkin) and the Gold Collector. I can definitely see all of this as a new plot arc after the Vengestone Buyer arc.

Where you found that?

I would like to see a reboot at some point in which the new ninja team is composed by the children of the current ninjas. To make more unique the composition of the new ninja team I imagine Cole's son to be like him but with white skin, gold hair and facial features like Vania, Jay's and Nya's twins like the new masters of water and lightning (a boy and a girl, respectively), Lloyd's daughter with white hair and such. I want this new ninja team live new adventures like travel to a monster realm, a dream realm, to the space and more fun things.

Action and Adventure themes that never made it
Bloquerto replied to Mr No's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ohh, I would love to see Johnny Thunder on Ninjago. If that happens I hope LEGO doesn't change him drastically like they did with Clutch Powers. -
Interesting. Thanks. It seems Samurai X Mech is a Pixal's set and not Nya's. Also, Dark Temple, Golden Dragon stuff... maybe the Overlord is coming back? According to Promobricks, it is for Pixal.

LEGO Ninjago 2021

I agree, is strange. But it seems the most logical conclusion. I mean, the 2022 winter wave doesn't match with anything Tommy has said about season 15. He has mentioned that we'll see classic stuff in season 15 (probably the return of old villains like Nadakhan, he has been hinted a lot) and I don't see anything of that in the names and descriptions of the sets. Season 15 is aiming to be the biggest season yet according to Tommy. But anyways, all we can do is wait and see what happens. -

I don't think so. The 2022 winter wave isn't season 15. Most probably is for the short films that will come out early 2022. -
This is why Ninjago should end

All right, I read it all and I'm totally disagree with you. No offense, but all I see is a frustrated AFOL whining over a theme that isn't his target anymore. Even I'd dare to say that modern action and adventure themes are not your target anymore. If I'm remember correctly, you are the same guy that didn't liked Monkie Kid's Space Shuttle set because that would mean LEGO won't make Classic Space stuff. I mean, it isn't a bad thing you don't like Ninjago or Monkie Kid, it's okay. The issue is that, on the way I see it, you are constantly making negative comments about every single wave of Ninjago and Monkie Kid and that could make that fans that really enjoy both themes feel bad about their tastes. I'm secure you can find some modern theme that you actually like. I don't know, maybe Creator Expert or Technic. Anyways, that's what I think. I'm sorry if I sound agressive or something. -
I love all the sets, especially City of Lanterns and Macaque's Mech. City of Lanterns reminds me a lot of the Ninjago City modulars. I hope someone make a mod of City of Lanterns to connect it with the Ninjago City sets. About the minifigures, they're great. I love Chang'e, Nezha and Macaque. He even has his six ears!

I'm excited for Chang'e Moon Cake Factory, Macaque Mech and Nezha's set.

A new snake figure has been leaked in the usual place. It looks cool. It reminds me of Chokun from the Constrictai tribe.

LEGO Ninjago 2021

I was thinking and I think the Winter 2022 wave will be centered around some short films that will come up next year. You know, the ones that will debut the new voice actor for Cole. I believe this because it seems season 15 will be a really big season, the conclusion of the Vengestone Buyer's arc. So it would be strange that this extremely important season wouldn't have new moulds for the villains and ninja. But that is my guess. -

I saw a tweet from LEGO's official account and it seems this September 29th they will reveal some sort of microgame about Ninjago Legacy. Maybe the winter wave sets are from this game. -

Is confirmed this wave is for the new season? Because I find strange the lack of Skylor and Kai centric sets. It has been heavily hinted that both of them will have a great role in the next season. Also in the descriptions for the sets there isn't a mention for the main bad guy just snakes (that potentialy could be vengestone snakes because of their colors) -

Has anyone seen the new Daily Bugle set from Marvel? Because I saw a picture and it bring me hope that TLG make a D2C Borg Tower as the same size of the Daily Bugle set. -

The most interesting thing of this short aside from the Nadakhan easter egg/foreshadow is the new villain Reflecta. They made a new model for a new villain as they did with Miss Demeanor in season 15. Also, Reflecta say something about have studied the ninja like Miss Demeanor said in Seabound. I'm speculating here but I believe Reflecta and Miss Demeanor are involved in the Vengestone Buyer plot probably for season 16. -

No offense but: do you really like Ninjago? I mean, the sets and the theme in general. Because yes the sets are a little overpriced but I see quality in most of the wave. That isn't necessarily true. Besides the vehicles, the dragons and a lot of the temples are very similar to the ones from the show. The only exception I remember now is the Ice Fortress. About the missing characters as minifigures, I recall hearing that the design team tries to include as many side characters as they can but unfortanetely it seems the younger and more casual consumers don't recognize them so sadly they don't include them. -

Ok, I just saw the pictures and I'd like to comment some things about the sets: The Hydro Bounty is definitely my must have set. It looks amazing, it is show accurate and have all the ninja team plus those little cute Wu bots (and of course Kalmaar and his subordinate). I like they include the mini subs because they have a lot of play value. And the interior of the bounty is good to place minifigures so I'm happy with it. About the Temple of the Endless Sea, before watching season 15 this was my favorite set. Now that I watched the season, I'm disappointed. The temple is good, the minifigure selection is excellent but Wojira doesn't look remotely close to the one from the show. She is even smaller than the water dragon when should supposed to be the opposite. It would be better if they made a single Wojira set instead of the temple and her because honestly the temple doesn't appear so much in the show. Anyways, I will get this set mostly because of the minifigures. -

I'm speculating but maybe revisit MotM makes sense. The finale of season 15 could be Wohira flooding Ninjago so revisit Shintaro that is in the sky could be a good idea. Also, a new Kai torso and legs have leaked. The torso has the same symbol than Lloyd's. -

Maybe a second wave of season 15 that ties with the vengestone stuff from season 13? -

New titles and descriptions for season 15 episodes has leaked. There are already titles and descriptions for 6 episodes. I believe season 15 will have more than 6 episodes. Also the octopus villain is called Kalmaar and the people of the Sea Kingdom are called Merlopians. Maya seems to be a side character of the season so probably she is the unindentified figure from the Temple of the Infinite Sea set.
