Do we know if the sets will get released worldwide in june?
-
Wonderful wave! The hype is real. There are a lot of interesting things to point out from the pics: It seems Garmadon finally fully submitted to his oni side. He looks so menacing and ready to destroy. I like that Wu is using the golden dragon master armor again. At the end, he is the most similar to the FSM so it makes sense he is using the weapons of his father. I love the yin and yang dynamic from the spinjitzu brothers. Nya is human again. She looks amazing in her golden armor. Nelson minifigure is so well done, I love his colors. The vengestone warriors are crystalised draconic humanoids. I prefer this army than the stone warriors because dragons fit thematically better for the Overlord. Speaking of the Overlord, i mean, the Crystal King. Amazing figure! He is so tall and menacing. I guess he is now in his true form: a mix of a dragon and a oni. The new molds of the golden weapons are welcomed. Excited to see Golden Oni Lloyd in better quality and of course, have these sets in my room!

That's a really cool idea. I hope so. I would be mad if the sets turns out to be inaccurate. I saw a lot of comments that said the first option was the fake one because it wouldn't be possible that Tommy and the creators of the show had this Weekend Whip plot in their mind since the Pilots. I don't agree with this because the first option can turns out true with a retcon. I mean, it isn't far fetched for a show that lasted longer than planned to take elements from past seasons and give them a new meaning. Even would be simbolic make the Weekend Whip something more important than just an intro song.

I hope this oni golden Lloyd has four arms like Garmadon. That way, Lloyd could wield the four golden weapons at same time.

I would say the options are The Overlord (because he has used that helmet piece in the past), Vex (maybe the new crystal armor is incompatible with the blizzard samurai helmets), Ice Emperor (apparently there is an episode from the new season titled The return of Ice Emperor), a new second in command of the Crystal King or just a different variant of the regular baddies.

Wow, the sets really got leaked. Cool. It definitely looks like a good wave. I like Crystal King a lot. He looks so menacing and cool. Also, the ninja vehicles really seem to be updated version of the golden weapon vehicles from Rise of the Snakes. Seeing the images I noted some things: The golden dragon ninja minifigs seem to be exclusive of their respective sets. The bad guy's minions are indeed ice samurai but in black and purple. The Crystal King looks like a mix of Garmadon and The Overlord. The weapons of Aspheera and Skull Sorcerer may be different from the ones of the preliminary pictures. I believe their weapons will be the sword of fire and scythe of quakes but in a crystal sword like the finished box art of the Zane's jet seems to point. The big baddie of Kai's set looks to be Unagami but perhaps is The Overlord.

So a preliminary image of a Creator set leaked today. Can we expect that the entire summer wave of Ninjago leaks today or not?

LEGO Creator 2022 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Bloquerto replied to TeriXeri's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I love the fact that the builds resemble some of the old sets from LEGO Vikings. -
I agree with everything. Though I think Harumi will become good at the end and will help Lloyd at some point. So Lloyd's villain would probably be The Crystal King (that I guess is the new form of The Overlord).
-
I thought that too. Honestly, it would be so cool. I feel a lot of homage to the origins of Ninjago in this season, I love it. I hope we can see pictures of the other sets soon.
-
Oh that would be a shame but you may be right. I hope at the end they really use those ideas because they are really cool. Just imagine that the golden power that helped the Ninja before, now is a serious threat for Ninjago and all the other realms.

While we wait for pictures of the summer sets, I would like to share something. I don't know if this can be discussed here but has someone seen the concept art that Ninjawhip has been sharing on his IG? It's for The Island, Seabound and possible future seasons. From the concept art for Seabound I like the villains more than what we got. They're more original and creative with different legs piece like shark tails and eel tails. From the concept art of the possible future seasons, I like a lot of that mysticism of The Ancient Ones, the Golden Army (they are conformed by golden skulkin) and the Gold Collector. I can definitely see all of this as a new plot arc after the Vengestone Buyer arc.

Where you found that?

I would like to see a reboot at some point in which the new ninja team is composed by the children of the current ninjas. To make more unique the composition of the new ninja team I imagine Cole's son to be like him but with white skin, gold hair and facial features like Vania, Jay's and Nya's twins like the new masters of water and lightning (a boy and a girl, respectively), Lloyd's daughter with white hair and such. I want this new ninja team live new adventures like travel to a monster realm, a dream realm, to the space and more fun things.

Action and Adventure themes that never made it
Bloquerto replied to Mr No's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ohh, I would love to see Johnny Thunder on Ninjago. If that happens I hope LEGO doesn't change him drastically like they did with Clutch Powers. -
Interesting. Thanks. It seems Samurai X Mech is a Pixal's set and not Nya's. Also, Dark Temple, Golden Dragon stuff... maybe the Overlord is coming back? According to Promobricks, it is for Pixal.

LEGO Ninjago 2021
Bloquerto replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I agree, is strange. But it seems the most logical conclusion. I mean, the 2022 winter wave doesn't match with anything Tommy has said about season 15. He has mentioned that we'll see classic stuff in season 15 (probably the return of old villains like Nadakhan, he has been hinted a lot) and I don't see anything of that in the names and descriptions of the sets. Season 15 is aiming to be the biggest season yet according to Tommy. But anyways, all we can do is wait and see what happens. -

I don't think so. The 2022 winter wave isn't season 15. Most probably is for the short films that will come out early 2022. -
This is why Ninjago should end
Bloquerto replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
All right, I read it all and I'm totally disagree with you. No offense, but all I see is a frustrated AFOL whining over a theme that isn't his target anymore. Even I'd dare to say that modern action and adventure themes are not your target anymore. If I'm remember correctly, you are the same guy that didn't liked Monkie Kid's Space Shuttle set because that would mean LEGO won't make Classic Space stuff. I mean, it isn't a bad thing you don't like Ninjago or Monkie Kid, it's okay. The issue is that, on the way I see it, you are constantly making negative comments about every single wave of Ninjago and Monkie Kid and that could make that fans that really enjoy both themes feel bad about their tastes. I'm secure you can find some modern theme that you actually like. I don't know, maybe Creator Expert or Technic. Anyways, that's what I think. I'm sorry if I sound agressive or something. -
I love all the sets, especially City of Lanterns and Macaque's Mech. City of Lanterns reminds me a lot of the Ninjago City modulars. I hope someone make a mod of City of Lanterns to connect it with the Ninjago City sets. About the minifigures, they're great. I love Chang'e, Nezha and Macaque. He even has his six ears!
-
I'm excited for Chang'e Moon Cake Factory, Macaque Mech and Nezha's set.

A new snake figure has been leaked in the usual place. It looks cool. It reminds me of Chokun from the Constrictai tribe.

LEGO Ninjago 2021
Bloquerto replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I was thinking and I think the Winter 2022 wave will be centered around some short films that will come up next year. You know, the ones that will debut the new voice actor for Cole. I believe this because it seems season 15 will be a really big season, the conclusion of the Vengestone Buyer's arc. So it would be strange that this extremely important season wouldn't have new moulds for the villains and ninja. But that is my guess. -

I saw a tweet from LEGO's official account and it seems this September 29th they will reveal some sort of microgame about Ninjago Legacy. Maybe the winter wave sets are from this game.
