LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
Bloquerto replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
Completely agree. I have no interest in a huge poke ball that would take a lot of my space. The minifigures are cool but a bit underwhelming (at least to me). I'd say only Red is excellent. Pikachu and Eevee as well. The new molded poke ball are also a nice touch. For now I'll only buy the Rayquaza set and wait to next year if these minifigures appear in a more interesting set -
We have the first review of the One Piece second wave sets!
-
If this theme had been based on the anime, I think an arc per wave would be the way to go. I mean, that's what most likely is going to happen with the Season 3 sets (I'm assuming we'll get sets for that tho). Short arcs would get the same treatment as of now, making up a wave from sets that shows scenes and characters from different arcs. About characters like Whitebeard, Kuma, Moria, Big Mom and so on, there is no problem. They would be brick built or have an special torso like Eggman, Hagrid and Shrek. Also, I have a lot of chinese brands One Piece minifigures and all of those characters don't look weird at all at that scale. And well, my hope to get anime based sets for One Piece is because I want this theme to last really long but sadly I don't think that's possible if it continues to being dependant of how long Netflix wants the live action to last.
-
I really don't have an attachment to DBZ (even though I saw some episodes when I was a child) but it is pretty cool we are finally getting anime based sets. I hope we get more anime IP's in the future and One Piece sets based on the anime.
-
So... given recent leaks about DBZ getting a full theme in 2027, what are the chances we get anime based sets for One Piece too? Don't get me wrong, I love the sets we've got up until now but I can't stop feeling that if this theme has been based on the anime instead of the live action since the beginning, more people would buy the sets. A first wave with the Thousand Sunny, General Franky with combine features, Monster Point Chopper and Mermaid Princess sets would be a banger just for collecting all the straw hats.

By the implications of the Cole vs Evil Cole spinner set, my guess is that next year villain army will be evil doppelgangers of the main ninja. I hope their designs are over the top to make them more interesting than just evil copies of them. Something like the ninja fused with the elemental monsters would be really cool.- 810 replies

Here are my suggestions: $140 Red Hair Pirates ship. Minifigures: Shanks, Yasopp, Ben Beckmann, Lucky Roux, kid Luffy. $100 Kaya's Mansion. Minifigures: Luffy, Usopp, Kaya, Merry, Kuro. $80 Buildable Laboon. Minifigures: Luffy, Nami, Crocus, Mr. 9, Miss Wednesday. $50 Whisky Peak saloon. Minifigures: Luffy, Vivi, Igaram, Mr. 5, Miss Valentine. $30 Shells Town Marine Base. Minifigures: Luffy, Zoro, Morgan, marine soldier.

Pretty well done sets, I'll get them almost all (I'm not interested in a big buildable Chopper that doesn't even includes a minifigure). I'm very glad we got Dragon, that's the minifigure I wished the most to be included in the sets because if it wans't in the Loguetown set then we would never get him. The new Chopper and Mr. 13's body mould is a good surprise. I like it includes hands because a Chopper fig that can't hold syringes to treat his crewmates would be a terrible miss opportunity. My favorite set of the bunch is of course, the Giants set. A extremely good pack of figures (including the giants themselves). It would be pricey but I can see the potential of buying a few more copies of the Garp's ship and modify to create a fleet of marine ships.
-
Yeah, that's true. Okay, what about this minifig selection? 75641 Chopper & Dr Hiriluk Wipeout: brain point Chopper, Hiriluk and Kureha. 75642 Loguetown Marine Chase: Luffy, Sanji, Smoker, Dragon. 75643 Chopper: walk point Chopper. 75644 Little Garden Duel: Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Mr 3 and Miss Goldenweek. 75645 Castle on Drum Island: Luffy, Nami, Vivi, heavy point Chopper, Wapol, Chess and K.M. 75646 Loguetown Marine Battleship: Smoker, Tashigi, random marine soldier, Miss All Sunday, Mr 5 and Miss Valentine. I think this lineup is likely and would give us almost every character from season 2 (no Igaram nor Crocus but that's because we won't get sets for Whiskey Peak and Twin Capes).

LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion

I hope. A Final Fantasy VII line of sets would be so cool! And I know is very unlikely but I would also love to see a Resident Evil set (the police station from RE 2). Now that I think about, Kingdom Hearts has more chances to get a set than RE but still. -
I have mixed feelings about this wave but is not bad. I would have liked to see a brick built Laboon but I think its better this way because at $60 price point he would look too small. I hope we get more sets next year and hopefully we get Laboon and Whisky Peak sets. I'll also update my minifigures predictions: Chopper and Dr Hiriluk Wipeout: brain point Chopper, Hiriluk and Kureha. Loguetown Marine Chase: Luffy, Sanji, Smoker and Dragon. Chopper: walk point Chopper. Little Garden Duel: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Vivi and Mr 3. Castle on Drum Island: Luffy, Sanji, Nami, Vivi, heavy point Chopper and Wapol. Loguetown Marine Battleship: Garp, Koby, Helmeppo, Smoker, Tashigi, Miss All Sunday and random marine.

That's a great idea but sadly not likely though I would love to be wrong. Honestly, I'm a bit scared for the life span of this theme. I don't know how well its sales were but I'm seeing a lot of discounts in sites like Amazon. That worries me but time will tell. That's the issue of based the sets on the live action show instead of the anime because now the life span of the theme depends on how well the live action show is doing it. However, given LEGO's recent approach to anime with the supposedly Dragon Ball set for this year and Yugioh set for next year, I guess if this theme dies it can return in the future but this time with sets based on the anime. Thanks! And yeah, I think two Smokers is too much but I badly want a Dragon minifig and that's the only way I think we could get him.
