I’m a bit confused now ... so the Great Hall should be a replacement of 2018 or it should be a special set for 20th years anniversary. Because it seem to have a little different approach it terms of design. (Using green roof and focus more as playable set.) still don’t know how it’s going to be fit with previous Hogwast Set like Clock Tower, Astronomy Tower, etc or they going to be redesigned everything again (after 2 years?) But I really love the idea of underground CoS. Wish they they just released a bigger underground CoS to connect with existing 2018 Great Hall and other underground set to connect all existing set.

Well so ... if Lego will being cheap on minifigures in AC like this ... from now on, we’ll expect AC based on previous wave set ? 2019 AC based on 2018 Great Hall 2020 AC based on 2019 Clock Tower and next year will be 2021 AC based on 2020 Astronomy Tower ??

lol I think they might considered about it before, but decided to go with CoS. Because they can use photo album from PS and CoS but they chose PoA’s frame.

It also has (very) small hint of PoA too. They added lily and james photo frame that appears in PoA

I totally agreed about Marge, And if we don’t get another Ford Anglia, we’ll definitely has a bigger house. But I get that they need to add selling point for kids. PS. Private Drive already has 2 movies in one set. It based on SS ( Harry’s bedroom under the stairs, Hogwarts mails scene) and CoS ( Harry’s bedroom and Dobby). If they added Marge, it’ll be 3 movies lol.

Come to help you less annoyed about CMF Dobby, On a bright side, at least it has unique face print that different from Private Drive set.

I still don’t understand their decision too. I shown my full hp cmf set to my friends and no one guess her right.

A different color skin tone of cho might make it easier to create diversity of Hogwarts students, since we can switch her hand to different torsos anyway. I hope they include skirt piece too. ps. It still bugs me that they still use this wrong skintone for her.

Finally! an easy way to get torsos for display random students around Hogwarts. :D ( A little disappointed that It comes with Harry and Draco head)

I’m also thinking about to do the same. After got a complete 16 HP (not FB) from previous one, then I realize that I still want accessories and many repeat torso to display. ( Ex, Dumbledore Pensieve, Triwizard Goblet, Herbology Torsos, boy’s pajamas and another Trelawney because I planned to design divination classroom). Right now, it’s so hard to track it down for a good price. So this one I’ll just buy a full box ! At least right now I know I want Fawkes and Richard Harris Dumbledore for my Dumbledore’s Office. Moaning Myrtle, Lockhard for future plan.

I’m also currently designing a taller staircase tower with a new interior too! ( want to put Dumbledore office up there ) and I still struggle to make a great hall to has good looking entrance without put too much height. Your approach looks really good. Do you increase any height for the great hall? Or just change the entrance. Also planned to make an astronomy tower higher than my current design staircase tower.

Mine will be 1. AT : mainly because it includes viaduct building 2. Barrow : Fantastic design, a lot of interior details 3. 4 Privet Drive : A little bit cramped, but love that they have scene from movie 1 & 2. Although, I’ll prefer to trade trade Ford Angalir for bigger House 4. RoR : Always love an extension of Hogwarts castle, plus this one is small but executed really well. Love the idea of two sides interior. 5. Forbidden Forest : Really good minifigures 6. Hedwig : the build isn’t that bad but the minifigures should be better

Yes ! We can take of left and right wall of the WW then we will have that part !! but the question is do they will make the building in between ? ( the quad)

I looked back and forth between to Whomping willow and Hogwarts layout then I just realized the middle part of Whopping set can represent small tower and the small bridge on the back that will connect to the viaduct entrance. It surprisingly similar. So for the front view we still missing front part of the quad ( between GH and a part of whomping set), courtyard And long stone bridge.

That’s fantastic ! They indeed make it tallest as it should. Did Lego release the instruction for AT yet ? I couldn’t find one. However, if you wouldn’t mind, can I get LDD file for all 3 castles. I still in progress with my MOC right now. It will help me a lot.
