Ah, I thought we meant something more like the Bricktober pack rather than the student pack. Hope it includes McGonnagal then, because I never got her combined hat/hair variant yet.

Probably too soon considering the game isn't out till Winter but I'd like the pack to be the new professors from Hogwarts Legacy.

A reminder that Hogwarts Legacy is getting 15 minutes of gameplay tonight at 9pm GMT. I'm hoping the game is a big hit and we eventually get some sets inspired by it like we are now getting a BD-1 from Fallen Order.

I don't think its particularly likely but Quidditch is a popular well-known part of Harry Potter and as a sport has quite a lot of screentime in the movies. Maybe not that stadium in particular but people would know what it is. Also, if screentime is the main reasoning, half of the Diagon Alley set wouldn't exist.

I don't think I'd buy it but the Quidditch World Cup stadium done like the football stadiums would be quite cool.

Same here. For me the anniversary wave was a blessing in disguise for me because I suddenly disliked all the new castle sections. The book sets didn't appeal to me either. Means that since the Summer 2020 wave I've just picked and chose what I actually thought was nice rather than having to be a completionist. Despite that, could be an expensive year still with the D2C, Shrieking Shack, MoM and Thestral Carriage all appealing to me.

My idea for that was that if this sells well, maybe they'd do an iconic level from Sonic 2 (Chemical Plant?) in the same style and have a Tails figure. Then do an iconic level from Sonic 3 (Maybe Carnival Night or Icecap) with Knuckles.

To be honest I definitely think the Sonic set changed for the better. Sonic Mania isn't anywhere near as iconic as the original game and I can't see the appeal to the general public of having so much of the build/price being taken up by the final boss from Sonic 2 who most people probably wouldn't have reached as kids. I wish there were a few more prints rather than stickers but overall I really like it. I think the Eggmobile is the coolest part.

Definitely agreed. Looking at the Disney minifigures, the exact same thing for Mario characters would work great I think. It's definitely got to be a stipulation on Nintendo's side.

Good spot. The bridge is noticeably off the ground and there are hints of a blue wall like the ones in the castle lobby so I think you are right.

This is how I pictured it too, with an entire face taken up with a diorama. Take off the lid, fold it down and have a big sort of "playmat" of 5 levels. Would have been hard to not have the levels knock into each other when closed up but not impossible I don't think

Looks like Lethal Lava Land underneath/Infront of the castle. Not sure if the castle is big enough to have any interior

Wait, so what flips over on the lid, just Lava Land and the Castle? Then you store in other two separately and clip them on? It's a very weird set and 80% of the bricks seems to be spent on a cube to store the 20% that's actually interesting.

So it's going to be more like a Polly Pocket locket. I was hoping for something like the Hogwarts D2C but maybe half as long or so. If it folds out completely, it could be Peachs Castle on the base and each wall and the roof could be a different world from Mario 64. Don't know if there's any truth to it but someone on insta said there are brickbuilt microfigures of Mario and Peach but no mention of minifigures.

For me too. Georges is the one that bothers me most. Are there any other faces, or even customs, that would be a good replacement? Edit: looks like the original ideas submission uses Egon's face with darker eyebrows so I think that'd work well

Something I'd really like to see is a D2C house dorms set with a nice detailed recreation of all 4 of them (use pottermore images and description to make Hufflepuff's) and have it include all 4 house ghosts (update nick a bit to be slightly exclusive) and some of the more obscure students.

I feel like you could just ask a question if you have one and one of the people who read the thread more regularly could give you an answer without you having to read every single post.

This looks good and was how I was thinking to connect it too. Im still not sure how I'll connect the bathroom set or if I'll even get it at this point.

The golden minifigs are just included with the sets like the other minifigures

I think if space and money was no object, I'd happily get all of these except the chess set. Realistically as I already have the 2018-20 castle I'll just be getting Hogsmeade and the two smaller Hogwarts sets.

Let me say because I didn't earlier, I love the Hogsmeade set still and the attention to detail across all of these is quite nice. If I hadn't been collecting the 2018-2020 castle sets, this would definitely be appealing as a wave.

This sums me up pretty well. Can't really afford to start a new Hogwarts display that I don't like as much as the current one.
