  1. Reginald jumped to my humble self. Even the governor got tricked by that.
  2. I have to reply to your view on Paul's ping towards me. Actually it is not a big deal he got pinged by me and voted for me. I'm totally not on Paul because I got a vote from him. It's only that others were seeing the context so intuitively that I just couldn't believe Paul would not see that I was not trying to make an argument out of thin air but refering to Morgan. Yes I wanted to move things forward, that's true. His whole first comment attitude told me he is smarter than that. But it can happen, for sure. Lets go with that, also he had no ground to take me for anything good. In this case why pushing aside my valid and patient questions? Also Morgan is still not a bad lead. Where is he? Did he just went full first comment accusational then left the game? How is it Paul not saying anything about the actual Morgan lead. So my problem is not his theory of me being scummy. My problem is there are so much bigger scummy things going on and he still jumping over my questions. To other totally more scummy things he did not say anything useful but also useless open-ended remarks. That is not townish. Also "context is irrevelant". A townie would not think that. Anyway I was truly not going after Reginald at first. Getting that scumtell (according to me) from him was not the plan and was unexpected. And the fact that he sweot it under the rug makes it the most solid thing I myself have. All in all Reginald is the vote for me, because if he is just not playing the Village Idiot role, he is just a bad scum player in my opinion. And I think for Village Idiot Liam is making himself a better candidate. I think he is playing us by playing stupid. I just can't decide whether for town or scums at this moment. Also I'm following your debate with Ansel I assure you. And I totally see your point there. Ansel was much more consistent so far then Paul imho. But it seems we find each other's suspicion less suspicious. At least Ansel did answer your every questions, but he was truly not very exact and too open-ended for too many remarks until throwing a vote on Liam. Also Arthur seems town to me as well, because he is making good and inconvenient questions scums would never like. Still he is making that kind of a blank vote on you. Maybe there is something to that as well, but beside that you are too townish at the moment that it would not help us with a lynch for sure. /* Edit : he has just unvoted you so we may proceed to something useful here */ I think a Liam lynch may still start because a lot of player is onto him already and he is not helping us. I still insist on Reginald tough. While I think Ansel is also being watched by players, he did not make that much of a scummy move to getting lynched today. I won't be heartbroken without first day lynching, but as I've told I can be a business partner in it all the same if that's where we are truly going. But we need to reduce the options for that.
  3. One question: Why? Elaborate it, please.
  4. I did not care about that silly question. It wasn't meant to press Reginald originally either. I was after Paul. I wanted to get him talking, by quoting him with something else. I very much wanted him to clarify my accusation, but I already had the hunch that was just a tactical distraction and he is going to avoid giving any detailed answer. It was a feeling at that moment. I really thought he was taking things out of context and just throwing in fishy questions while being quite inactive. This "ya being kinda defensive?" and questions are an example of twisting and talking without saying anything useful. But also I was interested what would Reginald say to this and realized he actually just sneaked over this one while being very keen on talking. Also I think skipping a question is a shady thing in itself. His answer was not quite interesting itself, but not realizing who was asking originally felt like a scumtell. This is still the best thing what I've got next to Paul's play style so I went with it with my vote. Also Paul was quick to respond this time, while I asked him a question before quoting him. Just as I suspected he indeed jumped over my initial questions and asked me an "isn't that manipulative?" kind of question instead. This is where I knew he is probably reading everything carefully, but cherrypicking convenient things to response while trying to distract. I repeated my question now he was on the hook and he told me the same reason to which I said it is again just taking out of context. He tells me how he read things. Just before one sentence context is irrevelant. Well, without context you can read anything you want. And that's the tool a scum would use. As for Reginald I think he made a bad play there, because his response in repeating this straw man thing without actually giving an answer is a Sign of wish-wash for me. I asked him again in a form of a direct question to really get an exact response. Even now he jumped over it. Talking about my votes is the same tactic Reginald has used. I have to remind you Paul, that one of these votes is made by you, and you said yourself context is not relevant. You still read something out of my actions to disprove this. Also you truly have made actually very good readings on other players on the meantime, so it seems you are very able to read the proper context if you want to. As again my theory goes: Paul being an observing but inactive distractive player saw my attack on Reginald and - just as he stated - started think he might be scum. As he is probably very much a scum himself - following my theory - he thought it might be a good way to give a pseudo-pressure on him while practically still being voted against me. I think he found it a good standing ground probably seeing a higher chance of me being town (this is what I belive he thinks anyway). This is where I am.
  5. I think this is just a joker card you are throwing around without saying anything. I ask you directy: why did you not check the quote? Context is irrevelant? Lame reasons? Also you just overlooked my basis of accusation against Reginald, saying I'm still more scummy (while doubting we are both being scummy) while already picking on more of his statements more than mine. Only to miss that specific one which was about his 'little' mistake about the quote. O-KAY. I know we have ~30 hour of this day but let me say this now: Morgan is either went afk or lurking. We know he was here once at least so I say I must say he is lurking waiting for the heat to move on. That is my weakest assumption now I have to admit. Reginald's arguments against Ethan about not voting because it gives us random things to read is clearly not true for this game. Town is here for information. Appending our conversation and my accusation from the previous posts it is clear where I stand with him. I'd lynch him today. Paul says he is very suspicious that Reginald might be a scum but I think he just immediatly appeared to damage my case against him. He is implicating Reginald to be suspicios, but still clearly calling me more scummy (funnily both of them voting for me now). Considering his constant oneliner questions without giving specific responses, cherrypicking lines and questions to answer, calling them lame without explanation, calling context irrevelant I think he is using classic scum tactics. Also he used the buzzword OMGUS so I have a feeling he is an experienced scum player just lingering around to make confusion in certain sensitive situations. Town's main goal is to ask for everything in a clear and consice way, to be detailed about everything. Scums on the other hand are here to make everything out of context, fuzzy and twist things around. Let me quote myself as a reminder:
  6. Yes. I wanted to get some reaction but Morgan did not appear since so I've figured I might just as well vote instead. Also Paul, you are still voting for me and I've asked you a couple of questions because of this, but you did not reply just asked me a new one instead. I have to ask you again. You quoted me without the contect of Morgan's remark. I was not creating an argument for myself, but refering to Morgan. Morgan was pseudovoting and warning others of their constant suspicion. Which I don't like thus my initial vote. As you can see both Ethan and Ansel understood the context right before you but for some reason you've managed to overlook it. What this intentional?
  7. First you've built up for your own defense how random your vote for Kendall is. Now you throw it away 2 hours later. How convenient. Also if you think instantly revenge voting me is your best shot, I'm not impressed. You see, you are totally right. I was setting up the strawman, but you was the one knocking it down again. Why not explaining what I've just pointed out? Even if I implied what townies would do (which I do believe is true) you could have just told me you were not remembering well. This is funny because it tells me you silently accepted my reason, but guessed it would be too weak of a defense now. I think what happend is you've just realized I caught you on a mistake and tried to counter it with talking about the votes against me. Which are there for sure, only have nothing to do with this.
  8. This is very nice. Only one teeny-tiny problem with this: that query was coming from Paul and not me. The fact that you did not even check this tells me you are not paying attention while being pressured, and while a townie - out of pride knowing his innocence - would have took the time to actually check the quote you quickly responded with this general-sincerity speech. Which is quite good and untouchable indeed. Now this is the first thing which is actually more fishy to me than Morgan's first remark. Unvote: Morgan Marchand Vote: Reginald Aston
  9. Hey Bob,

Accidentaly added the same photo twice in the same post:

Could you edit this somehow or let's just leave it like that?

    1. Bob

      Bob

      We'll leave it like that.

  10. That was asked of you Reginald. And you've commented three times since then, not addressing anything to this question. May I ask why? Also this is the context which you forget to add Paul by putting phrases in my mouth while voting for me. Since you are clearly not very active I must point out again I'm waiting for clarification. Did you misread my motivation or you just cherrypicked my line without considering the quote from Morgan?
  11. I was not going along with the majority in my opinion, just the opposite: I was already trying to imply that Morgan was too eagerly jumping on the opportunity to call out an obvious joke vote as scummy a bit too seriously. This is the bases of my hunch and nothing more, yes. Also I was the first to actually point this out by a vote myself. There is no majority here, only a couple of other fellow soldiers pointing out the same but not going for it yet. Maybe they're waiting for a response from Morgan, which I'm doing as well by the way.
  12. Fair enough. Easy to notice three different patterns here: Some fellow soldiers do not contribute at all to the conversation Some of us have talked a lot without actually saying anything Some of us were active to find tells even if they were weak/projected ones Paul also questioned my disbelief in lynching first day while I was advocating voting (which is not by all means the same). Let it be clear that I can be a business partner in lynching somebody on the flagpole, even on Day One. As for now, I'm going to wait out a response from Morgan to prove me wrong in my hunch in any way he finds appropiate.
  13. Intentionally or not but you misinterpret my reasoning. This is clearly not the same what you've implicated. Not making a vote myself after my very own statement would make me less consistent, don't you agree?
  14. Point noted, still early the hour to call it proper suspicion. Reginald made a similar response for your joke vote but it felt more natural, while Morgan sounded a bit more tryhard. The reason I still put a vote on him is that I agree with Kendall's point; we have to move forward with what we have (or don't have with Lieutenant Paul in Kendall's case) at the moment. Also our great Governor has made no time restrictions for voting, clearly indicating his preferences in starting to rip the traitors out root and stem as fast as possible.
  15. Mon Dieu! Of course poor lieutenant Michel would take us as frogs being the only serviceman with french heritage. I'm Robert Walsh is however definitely under the service of the Royal Crown.
  16. Let me join you me ol' pal Kendall with a trumpety trump! * Too-too-too-too-toooooom...TOOM! * As for some serious business: Aye, I would be against day 1 lynching but voting is a fine loyalist tool to utilize, so I'm eager to see your choice with any reasoning you can append as well. As for me I don't like pseudovotes and explicit warnings about monitoring a fellow soldier as it is too obvious to point out. Something more likely a scum would do than actually voting. This is my reasoning at the moment. Vote: Morgan Marchand
  17. Not to be nitpicky sir lads, but shouldn't scum buccaneer supporters to be hanged? That'd be quite the show and no usage of ammunition. Yes, I'm definitely passing on my idea to the good ol' Cap'n when I be leaving me post. Anyway, do we agree that Ethan's impudent remarks towards a commanding officer was just mere joke? Clearly caused sunstroke from previous guarding duties, too flippant and obvious for an opportunistic tratior. Clearly a good basis to give him a bad name if someone would take the opportunity on the other hand.
  18. I myself find these news truly distressing, lads. Traitors inside friendly walls! They must be after my shiny trumpet too, but by His Majesty's name, I'll be damned if I let any treacherous scum take it from me! You don't really mean our good Sarge would betray our garrison and the Crown, do you? Too many indistinguishable faces in the ranks of privates however I must say.
  19. That's the spirit! But no more snoozing while being on duty or I'll trumpet you first out of the bed tommorow lad!
  20. The Sarge is so proud of me, already wants to promote me for his position. Maybe that mustache thing really comes to fruition.
  21. Aye, a bushy mustache would probably do it. That's what they've told me as well and look where I've ended up. Surely the good Sergeant of this Garrison meant some serious discipline by ordering me to wake y'all every morning for inspection. And that's what I'm going to do so you may take me as your best friend already gentlemen.
