  1. Thanks guys, your kind words keep me building! The main hold wasn't cramped on these early return ships, I will add such things to the gundeck. The lower interior is basically finished, I might add more later on. The ''boegscheg'' is about 98% correct according to the plans at the moment, but indeed not yet finished. They didn't curve much on these, as the headrails were just build in between that and the bow.
  2. Ok, time for a little update! First an overall shot, you can see the parts of the hull that will stay open, to show the interior: Length wise: The main hold interior: The main hold, with the main hatch in place: The cable room, where the soldiers stayed during the trip: The master gunner's room: And last but not least, the mosaic that resembles the painting most ships had on the ''wulft'': Right now I need to install the LED lights in the lower interior, which is basically finished. Then I can start on the gundeck. Feedback is much appreciated!
  3. LU, MAC? Can't a guy just get a cheeseburger? I wish all the computer guys would just decide on 1 system, preferably Linux based!
  4. I love the description on MOCpages: ''this is just a simple model''.... It's great buddy, looks just like the real thing! What side door?
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm not that big of a SW fan, but I'd go for the OT as well. I do like collecting all the iconic figures from the OT. That is me today.
  6. This model was build back in the 80's with the release of the first pirate sets. It was shown all around the world at Lego shows, I have seen it here in Holland at the V&D department store. Most ships I build after seeing it, up until the Denise use somewhat the same colour scheme. I wonder what ever happened to the model.
  7. Happy belated birthday guys! Will buy you a beer soon enough Mike.
  8. Welcome to Eurobricks! It's great getting back into building after a period of non building, it can really take the mind off from the daily hassle.
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks! Castle and pirates are 2 good themes to work with, I'd say get some actual Lego. Most of us have childhood ccollections, do you not have any left at your parents or something?
  10. Very nice and original look, I really like the figurehead! The only minor nitpick i have is that the blue stripe on the bow and stern doesn't run through in the middle.
  11. This is starting to turn out really good General! I am glad I've inspired you and others with my tutorial, I should update on it sometime soon. Admiral Croissant is right. Make that 200 - 250 people buddy. Please read some books before trying to give people advice.
  12. She looks great on those new pictures captain! I assume you still need to add the bow section? Can't really tell from that last picture.
  13. I somehow must have missed your bringing it to the public, it turned out really great! The curved yards and improved rigging really add to the whole, making it look just that bit more like a Chebec. I agree on having a small ornament on the stern can add something, I made a very small one on the Telesell. Now I am obliged to make a version 3!
  14. A big for you contributions Captain Zuloo, I hope you find time in the future to rejoin the ranks!
  15. Uh oh, here we go again..........
  16. Testing it on a parking lot? Hit the road man! Loose jeans not safe? You just need to make sure you don't fall off. Get a chopper and look badass, people will move out your ******* way! Congrats on the bike Grimmy, enjoy it!
  17. This looks great already captain! Is the red dark red? Looks like it, and I like it! I would however consider changing the white for a less contrasting colour, perhaps dark tan, pearl gold or even regular tan might look better. If you stick with one mast, it should move a bit more to the front, rather then sitting in the middle. Keep it up buddy!
  18. Yeah the hull is hard to make, I rebuild my aft section just about 50 times.... It is good that you got the anatomy of a ship book, that is an excellent reference!
  19. I congratulate you with such a daring project! In what scale are you building exactly? It seems a bit small to be exact minifig scale which would be about 1:39. The way you are building the hull is good, I like the way you made the keel. However your stern is running up a bit fast, instead of flowing upwards and in the middle your hull seems a bit like a V shape, though it should be rounded. In the picture below you can see what I mean: Good luck on it!
  20. Happy birthday guys, have a good one!
  21. I like the dark bley road with the light grey pavement best, seems most realistic to me as roads are never really black. Can't decide on white or yellow striping though, both look good to me and can be combined to use it to certain road areas. Good luck on it!
  22. Woohoo, I managed to order nothing! I do however need 2 rounded 1x3 slopes in metallic silver (bricklink image will follow), if anybody can help me with those.... Wish I could help you out there Doc, but I only own the old light gray ones as well.
  23. Great review Svelte! I think I'll be getting this one, as it just holds a ot of cool parts. Though licensed sets are always expensive, the price makes me rate this as above average.
  24. Woohoo, congrats on finally getting your paws on one Mike! I rate it as outstanding, as are most of the minifigs in this series. Must get the nutty clown...must...
  25. I'd check out the ship MOC index if I were you. Good luck on it!
