  1. I keep getting McGonagall as a duplicate. I got my fifth one with the Hospital Wing set. :/ I haven't yet, but I could combine them and look. :P
  2. Finally caught up with thread again. The summer wave sounds great. It's great to hear we're potentially finally getting a DH set with the MoM set. Although it could be a case of one set for multiple movies. The carriage set sounds awesome, great scene. Sirius's Escape and Shrieking Shack sound cool too. Dumbledore's Office sounds interesting, I'm wondering why Ginny is included, but the explanation of having the common room makes sense. I'm apparently also in the minority of people that didn't hate the Hungarian Horntail, but I'm looking forward to the new set featuring it. As for the D2C, I highly highly highly doubt it's gonna be a Hogwarts as that would clash with the microscale one which costed a little less and was *MICROSCALE* as well as with the Hogwarts builds from the last 4 years. As for what it would actually be, I honestly have no idea... I'd love a Gringotts with some other DA(/KA) buildings and dragon, a full decked out quidditch pitch with 4 full teams and some spectators, or a UCS Hogwarts Express with both King's Cross and Hogsmeade station. But it could be something out of left field again like the Icons set, like for instance horcruxes. What I'm kinda certain about is that the D2C will feature some kind of stand as was pointed out earlier in the thread.
  3. Snape: Obviously. Wow... I should know that. :P What's a quotes set?
  4. I see, I haven't played that game so I wasn't aware of the droid.
  5. Not all sets have to be PoA/GoF based though.
  6. Plot twist: They release the Hogwarts Express with a Ford Anglia.
  7. Don't you mean Warner Bros?
  8. I didn't realise that was a thing as well. One the one hand the completionist in me says to get those too, on the other hand do they really count? :P
  9. So far I've gotten every set made since 2018, except for the chess set as well as the Icons set which I will eventually get too.
  10. Yup, should've been patient. :P
  11. Wow... They go for €30 on S@H overhere in the Netherlands. And I got them for €35 a year ago. If I had more patience I probably would have gotten them cheaper elsewhere.
  12. I think that has to do with reusability/space. I think the horse was reused elsewhere, but then again a chicken was also used, I believe both in those Mickey and Friends farm set. *sad Legend of Aang noises*
  13. Pretty sure that was answered by a LEGO designer, but I don't remember exactly what the answer was.
  14. Bluevatar or Legend of Aang Avatar?
  15. It seems only UK does this replacement bank holiday on 3 January (that I know of). I checked public holidays in Denmark and there were none in January. I wished the Netherlands would have a day off today, but that's not the case. :(
  16. I don't know. In my opinion, €470 is too much for just Gringotts unless it includes an entire cave system with rollercoaster tracks. I do think that a complete quidditch pitch in minifigure scale with all bells and whistles would cost that much. Additionally I think it's iconic enough to warrant the price since we already got the castle in microscale and Diagon Alley in minifigure scale (albeit both partially). I can't think of anything else that would cost that much and be iconic enough to warrant that price. That said, I would love a Gringotts.
  17. Microscale DA already includes Gringotts though. Looks like I was ninja'd. Woopsie. :P
  18. That would be nice, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll need proof of the scale before I do that. :P Also fun fact: so far all 3 HP D2Cs contained minifigures, but as you know, only one was minifigure scale.
  19. LEGO makes sets based on the movies though, not the books. I think that is what LEGO was going for with the upcoming Trunk set in March. I doubt that's going to happen since the sets are based on the movies.
  20. Was Muggle Studies ever shown on screen? I don't remember. If not then I don't think it has a high chance of being made into a set. There was a Care of Magical Care set back in the day, so it could be remade.
  21. Common Room in the style of the sitcom sets would be cool. But I doubt that that will happen nor the return to the older style. I think this modular block style is staying.
  22. That's usually how it happens.
  23. That's my fear too.
