  1. Might be why they're revealing it before releasing this time around. Even though it's a just an outline.
  2. To be fair, I think it's not just LEGO HP that's on a three year loop. LEGO City for instance also seems to be on a 3 year loop. As for making sets based on the series or the movies depends on the success of the series and if WB wants LEGO to make sets based on the series. Case and point: Fantastic Beasts. There were only 2 sets and some CMFs. LEGO seems to be cautious when it comes to new IPs (or in this case a reboot). So the amount of sets depends on the success of said IP/reboot.
  3. Third! I'm looking forward to the new sets.
  4. It looks like the portraits will actually have a place in the sets themselves as opposed to just being extra's like the chocolate frog cards. Which doesn't mean there couldn't be something like the Dormitory for the portraits, but I kinda doubt it. Then again... Hagrid's Hut has two portraits (while the Owlery and Boat House have 1), but all 3 sets only have space for one (at least on the pictures).
  5. I don't have the Quidditch Trunk just yet, but one of the differences besides the cape is the fact that the Cho Chang polybag as well as the trunk have tan pants instead of white ones like CMF1, Diagon Alley, Cedric Diggory from the magazine, and the Quidditch Match set. But other then that, I think the torso's look the same. Although the yellow outline around the Gryffindor crest looks thicker on the images on LEGO.com on the Quidditch Trunk Harry than it does on the Quidditch Match Harry.
  6. It was here somewhere in the last few pages.
  7. You could phone your local LEGO store (if you have one nearby) to check if they might still have them. Just checked all European shop at home websites and it's sold out in the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Ireland. But it's still available in Poland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Italy, Romania, Switzerland, and Austria. And while the Ukrainian shop @ home does exist, you can't buy anything there for obvious reasons. So it's not sold out in all of Europe just yet. On a separate note, I'm surprised Iceland as well as several countries in the Balkan don't have a shop at home. How do they order from LEGO?
  8. Just received my package from LEGO containing the GWP Vault as well as the HE with Hogsmeade Station. :)
  9. Kinda lame how the Hogwarts Express with Hogsmeade Station which costs €129,99 probably won't work for the GWP that has a threshold of €130. On the website at least, people in the store might be less strict. I hope it'll be Speed Champions style as in very detailed minifigure scale.
  10. Yes, very normal. As this would allegedly be the second time ever for a GWP to be released with a D2C. However this GWP actually belongs with this D2C, so it would make sense to be released together, but I won't get my hopes up until I actually see it on the LEGO website.
  11. I mean all 4 D2C HP sets are still available, so there is no rush to get this one as it will likely stay on shelves for many years to come.
  12. I'm so interested in Death Eaters (I am not) that I completely missed the Death Eater in Gringotts. :P
  13. Now you mention it, I also got those BrickHeadz with Diagon Alley. So I've been proven wrong. :P I mean it would make sense that the Gringotts GWP would come out with the Gringotts D2C just as much as it did with the Eiffel Tower and the apartment. I guess we'll have to wait and see. ;)
  14. I mean none of the other HP GWP's have ever coincided with the release of a D2C HP set so I doubt this one will be released together either. I would love to be proven wrong, but evidence suggests otherwise. 2022: 40577: Hogwarts: Grand Staircase - 15 July 76405: Hogwarts Express - Collectors' Edition - 31 August 2021: 40452: Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms - 25 October 76391: Hogwarts Icons - Collectors' Edition - 2 September 2020: 30628: Monster Book of Monsters - 1 January 2021 75978: Diagon Alley - 1 September 2019: No GWP and no D2C 2018: 40289: Diagon Alley - 5 November 71043: Hogwarts Castle - 1 September
  15. Gringotts looks amazing! Also FYI, the set is on LEGO.com so that means it's revealed right? :P
  16. I guess we'll see on 18 July. ;)
  17. *Flashbacks to false "leaks"* I don't know. All the previous HP D2C sets were revealed in August and released on or around 1 September. Already revealing it in July seems sus.
  18. It released a little while ago. I got them from this Dutch webshop that sells LEGO which also ships internationally. I forgot if I'm allowed or not to name the shop hence the vagueness.
  19. Sounds like news to me. Apparently piece counts were already known in January and I forgot. :S
  20. Lol, I just started building Dobby and the first thing you build is his sock. ;)
  21. Thanks, I don't hear that phrase that often and I had never seen it abbreviated until seeing it here. I guess one may say, my mileage may vary with this phrase. :P
  22. All, but Dobby and Expecto Patronum, feel grosly overpriced.
  23. Weird that the BoH set is only on the UAE version of the LEGO website and not any of the others I checked.
