    Hello all castle lovers. I'm planning on submitting a new castle that's probably going to be even better than my Castle in the Forest project. It's going to be very much the same idea but completely redesigned with much more ... well, you will see. I hope this one to be just as successful as the previous one. I wanted to ask the community here about the title I should give to it. => Is the castle in the woods better than castle in the forest (english is not my first language I don't really know the difference between woods and forest) => Is it ridiculous to give the same title or to name it "the Castle in the Forest 2" => Do you have some other suggestions ? (Don't expect it to come before 2021, the way I've started this, it's going to be a huge job to complete it)

    Hello everyone, I saw LEGO CITY set 60271 - is this a statue of a forestmen ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Is Lego giving us a clue for the next lego Ideas Set? It seems a bit unlikely as the developing process for a set is quite long, and my set The Castle in the Forest is still in the review phase.... The boxing, instructions and the mold for the head for this Lego City set had to be decided, and made ready for production at least 3 or 4 months ago in my opinion.     I supported your idea. I like this color, I don't remember having seen many castles like this. I don't know if it's possible but I think you should change your first image. It looks like there are no minifigs, and also with a background picture it would look better.

    Good news, Almost all of the top 10 most popular projects on Lego Ideas are related to medieval/Castle/fantasy, Just look at that, I don't think this has ever happened before ! Jcreations912's fantasy Castle has been 2nd most popular for a about 10 days or so. This is a clear message to TLG. If it's not with a Lego Ideas set we can now also hope for a 18+ set. If they decided to make a crocodile train why wouldn't they be making a castle for the 18+ ?

    Good news, 3 Lego Ideas projects chosen. They already knew 26 sets are to be reviewed in the next phase yet they did not reduce the number of approved sets. This means they increase their investment in Lego Ideas, maybe they will pick 4 sets for the next review ! The Medieval/Castle theme is doing very good, Jcreations912's fantasy Castle has been 2nd most popular for a week or so, and some others are doing well well also. I think we should get a castle soon, if it's not a Ideas set, maybe a 18+ set.

    Check out Lego Ideas, a lot of new castle posts. I just supported this idea, it is really nice and I predict it will certainly get a lot of votes, and it really deserves them !     You're probably right. Maybe it depends upon how old the machines are that make the pieces, of maybe the format of the digital files for production aren't used anymore by newer computer systems. I think the best chance we've got is with the collectible minifigures because of all the new molds they create for each one of them. This year we got nothing for the medieval scene but there are some animals that could be very nice, I'd like to see a sheep, a maybe a goose or a boar.

    These 2 sets (7189 and 10193) are the best medieval sets ever made by lego, and I'm sure the coming Blacksmith will fit perfectly with those 2. I hope they'll make the goat again a it's in the original idea. I don't have set 7189 and I really like the peasants minifigs and those 2 goats but they are soooo expensive !

I'm not very using social media very much but I'm learning.... https://www.flickr.com/photos/187649841@N07/albums/with/72157713674034642 I've created albums for both of my 2 Lego Ideas submissions, some other simple projects (for the kids) And I've just added my new medieval village with my medieval villager collection and lots of animals. I don't think they are good enough for Lego Ideas, I didn't even took a day to built the largest house but I'm quite happy with it. And Yes, I got my 9000th vote today !!!

    You just got your 54th supporter. @legoMoccer You don't spend much time on lego ideas ? I check my vote count 100 times a day My daily humor depends upon the votes I get. On mondays it's always (due to the Lego Ideas email many people check the website and the votes are rising) On thursdays it's always or even If I'm nice today it's because its monday, don't bother me on thursdays

(what I really mean is : come on, just vote for me, I'll vote for yours and modify my comment - no need to be harsh when we can be friends) I must say i'm impressed by your ideas, your projects are completely different one from the other. I've absolutely no talent in microscale (maybe because I never tried...) and you've already had 10K votes for your Nasa Spacecraft idea !

    I didn't choose any flesh faces as it's not an idea based upon any IP. A saw a project that changed his main image on Lego Ideas. I thought it was not possible. But i never changed anything on mine except the updates. (some content was deleted) I'm glad to vote for any good castle on LEGO ideas, wishing best of luck to all of them, but if the creator reads this post I hope he'll support the other cool castle projects too. And I'm not saying this just for mine, I really like some of the other castle projects. The more votes all castles can gather the better the message we send to the Lego Board of designers team to show we want more classic castles ! My project is the first classic castle that gets beyond the 5000 votes, if they think nobody really likes castles anymore whey won't choose any of our ideas. I'm still very lucky to be the 2nd most popular idea for the moment but votes are slowing down, I'm not sure I'll make it in time for the first 2020 review as I said earlier. I'll just have to wait longer (the waiting for the results is going to be soo hard )

    The pirate Bay and a few other ideas did a little better (the best was untitled goose game that got 5000 votes in 5 days !) But I won't complain :-) with mostly more than a 100 votes a day it's a huge success already ! I still hope to make it to the first 2020 review Some ideas that were very famous get completely forgotten. Sheriff's Safe only got 7 votes yesterday ! We'll see how it goes...

    I think the Lego design team will make the following changes to the MEDIEVAL BLACKSMITH. -reduce parts for the building (simplify roof build, and walls) -For the grass they'll use some plates, at best something similar to the treehouse. -I think they'll change the color for the grass, i'd add a lot of normal green and dark green instead of sand green -Add a lot of medium nougat color to the structure itself or exteriour details, maybe even delete the grass and have a medium nougat colored ground -Eliminate almost all the 1 x 4 printed tiles. They'll maybe keep some of them just for around the windows. Possibly some prints for 1x6 or 1x8 tiles -2 color for the leaves on the tree instead of 4 colors. -Some things do not seem very solid (roofs and support structure) it needs to be build in a completely different way. Probably very much simplified. -as minifigures I think the 3rd should be a soldier (with his horse) in addition to, the smith and his wife. -probably less animals : if they keep the goat and horse they'll suppress the owl; maybe even the chickens. -I'd like to see the smith at work outside, (display value) They could create an opening or an outside workplace like the other lego ideas blacksmith project. If they think it changes too much the original project I think they'll have to create hinges to open the build completely just like the old blacksmith set 3739 from 2002. I think the goal would be a set for 100 to 130 $ or €, that means a huge part decrease compared to the original idea. It will be a modern version of set 3739, with a part count between 1000 and 1400 It could seem a little disappointing but i don't care that much. We got a medieval set !!! Maybe even a goat !so i don't care. I'll come back later so see how wrong (or right) I was. What do you think they'll do?
