  1. that is a cool concept but i dont see how it would be beneficial in a model. Would you mind explaining? tim
  2. There are a lot of functions packed into such a small package! i love it! tim
  3. That is very impressive, nice job! You managed to capture the essence of the old model and incorporate it into the new. tim
  4. How old do they think we are? i am pretty sure most set builders can distinguish between colors. I have notice recently that the instructions have been getting more and more basic. tim
  5. I will give you a hint, use an old style differential without any internal gears... Good luck! tim
  6. i really like t he way the front of the cab looks, nice job. tim
  7. I have seen the videos on youtube. i really like how smooth the excavator runs. tim
  8. wow that looks really nice! would it be mounted onto the back of a trailer? tim
  9. Please dont quote the pictures repeatedly, it takes up a lot of space on the webpage and causes a lot of unnecessary scrolling. @Pat-Ard what i said was only an approximation. i meant that simultaneously you could run about 2-3 cylinders at a time. But you could power a lot more cylinders if you are not using the switches at the same time. tim
  10. The best way to prevent gear slipping is further gear reduction. Maybe you can add a 8t gear to the motor and a 24t gear to the axle that goes to the differential. tim
  11. With larger scales comes more weight, so it might be hard to build really big on only lego. i am looking forward to the progress. tim
  12. Wow that works surprisingly well for such a small model! Nice job. tim
  13. The set looks cool! Do you like it? What mods are you going to do? tim
  14. You could power about two or three cylinders on one pump. tim
  15. Ohh i see it now, before i thought that the connecters meshed directly with the gear. tim
  16. that is a very clever solution. Nice job! tim
  17. that is kind of a weird piece, i dont know how you would incorporate it into MOCs. tim
  18. Hey not every MOC can be a success. Nice job trying though. tim
  19. wow thats cool. how do the treads mesh with the 24t gear? tim
  20. Sorry i must have skipped over that part in your original post. Does it have lights. Sorry! tim
  21. Agreed that looks much closer to the original! i really like it. tim
  22. Nice mod. the trailer detaching mechanism looks pretty cool. tim
  23. I like your MOC a lot, it looks a lot like the real thing. What are the actual functions? tim
  24. You could take a screen capture of the photo by pressing the "Print Screen" key if you are using windows. when you press the button the picture of your screen is copied onto your clipboard and you can simply past the photo into PAINT or GIMP and save the file as a jpeg and then finally upload the photo to Brickshelf or somewhere else. tim
