I looked up "Rabona" and the first several links were sports betting sites. I can't imagine Lego wanting their products associated with that.

Based on the instructions for the kakapo, I don't think this is a con. If the other instructions are as bad as those ones I'm glad Lego didn't waste the paper to print them.

Wow, you weren't joking. They were terrible. (Still think I did the wings wrong...) Also, for the North American version they seem to have at least fixed the "part 6 parts in bag 7" problem, though I took ages trying to figure out where the extra pieces from bag 3 were supposed to go. Nice looking set at least!

Huh, this does seem to be live on the French website. I wonder if/when it'll happen in other places.

Yep. Same. I don't even really mind the delays that much overall, but the constant bait and switch is getting annoying. Has anyone actually gotten their sets yet?

You could also say that the largest sets are performing badly since the three most expensive are all in the bottom four. Edit: Or at least that was true when I first looked at the page. The Venetian set has jumped up several places. I wonder if Science Adventures isn't doing well because it seems like something most people who are likely to preorder sets like this could build themselves.

The next round of the Bricklink Designer Program with Ideas submissions that didn't get approved are available to pre-order tomorrow. Lots of pricey sets in this one and only 5/9 can hit the funding goal. Anyone want to guess which ones hit it first?

I updated a spreadsheet I made earlier this year with the last four sets (excluding the Stratocaster because I can't find the submission date). The average length between approval and release is 235 days, though the last five projects have all taken between 310-414 days.

My guesses. Kermit Miss Piggy Gonzo (with chicken?) Fozzie Rowlf Animal Janice (need another female character) Beaker Dr. Honeydew Rizzo Scooter Pepe Maybe's Sam the Eagle, Dr. Teeth (but three band members?), the girl penguin from Muppet Babies. I don't think you'll get Statler And Waldorf because they'd be pretty boring minifigs and kids would probably be really disappointed to get them. (Though, if they do sets a set that was their theatre box would be cool.)

Lego website: Buy these spooky Lego sets. Pictured are La Catrina Brickheadz, Spider ornament, & Owl. Click on the "shop now" link and discover that La Catrina is on backorder, and the other two aren't even in the "Halloween Gifts" section because they're sold out.

I'm still frustrated about missing out on the Vintage Car. 😢 For the designer preorders: Sheriff's Safe is sold out everywhere but Asia/Oceana. Pursuit of Flight is sold out in Europe. Pursuit of Flight and Kakapo also hit 3000, so Bionicle and Particle Accelerator are out of luck. I think letting people buy up to five of each set is kind of ridiculous tbh.

What do people think is the weirdest inclusion/exclusion on the map? I'm surprised by what I can only assume are the Andaman and Nicobar Islands west of Thailand.

Spring Lantern Festival is back in stock in Canada too, though no GWP. Bummed that I had to wait four and a half months to order this and didn't get anything free with it. : (

Except that Lego often redesigns the sets so much that what you voted for "to buy" might not end up being what's released, so why not just vote for everything you like in the hopes the final design will be one you want to buy

I feel like the finished products are often so different from the original submission that whatever parts you make it with doesn't really matter that much.

Does anyone know if the Spring Lantern Festival will ever be restocked? I've been looking at the "Temporarily out of stock" page for months.
