  1. Detail of the difference between real and painted piece. Left real - right painted
  2. First update: These are all the piece that i had to paint to make the shark mech "color accurate". In some pictures the color may appear brighter than the real sand blue but its just an optical effect of the light. The finished product is just perfect and its very hard to spot the difference between real and painted pieces. I managed to get the right color by searching the RAL code of the sand blue and commissioning the production to a specialized center equipped with a tintometer.
  3. Yeah definetely! I will post photos of all the progress during the making of the project.
  4. Thank you so much. Does the modified shark walker ldd file have already the changes that you made? Can't wait to start!
  5. @GLAP23 i am almost ready to build the super challenging shark mech. Im missing only a few pieces and i painted all the pieces that does not exist in the required color. Before i start i have a few questions: i use Lego digital designer to generate the instruction and we all know that the program is a bit buggy so i haven't understood some steps. Where does the four inner pistons connect? The outer part is floating and i can't figure out where they attach. Does the mouth open? By looking at the instruction it seems not able to. How does the head connect to the main body? Is there any floating part left? Is there any part that cannot handle its own weight? Thank you so much for your time
  6. These little models are adorable. I really wish I could add these to my collection even if I don't have space to fit more boats in my diorama. I understand that your goal is to build as many ninjago movie things as possible but you should really consider making some LDD files for the community considering that this experience of comparison and the improvement of our collection was made possible by GLAP who created this thread and shared his models with us. Really good job!
  7. Guys im very excited. Im getting all the 3300 pieces to build the Garm mech shark walker. Its a huge and expensive model but its a must have in my collection and it will perfectly fit in my "ninjago city under attack" diorama. I also plan to paint all the pieces that does not exist in the sand blue color. Can't wait to show the progress. Wish me luck!
  8. Thank you but i guess its not working on the imported models. I tried to generate the instruction for garmadon shark walker but since i haven't build it i don't have the steps of the construction. How can i do?
  9. Anybody knows a good way to generate building instruction other than LDD? (wich is quite buggy)
  10. How do you plan to build the ammo belt made of sharks?
  11. Thank you so much for the explanation. It would be awesome if you could make an updated ldd file with these modifications to make it easier to buy the right pieces and build the model. I also wonder how many pieces do not exist in the color sand blue and with what color could i replace them. Thank you so much again for your work
  12. Wich modifications needs to be do be done to build the real bricks model?
  13. Thats a big boy! It's a pity that many pieces do not exist in the sand green color or gold but it's a great job. I wonder how expensive is to build a model like that. Can't wait to see the finished build
  14. Had the same problem. You have to upload the pictures on a site like Flickr then copy the link of the Flickr page with the image that you want and copy it in the reply
  15. Thank you so much for the clarifications. Can't wait to have the instruction for this beautiful model! Im sure it will be very complicate and expensive to build but im ready for the challenge. By the way I'm very curious to see the models that you built
  16. That's great but i still trying to figure out where those pistons from the ankles connect to the legs. Another thing I'd like to know is if it will be able to stand on its own legs. Amazing job ad always!
  17. Very spicy! I see you are making progress with the sticker tecnique
  18. The number as i did? Or even the stripes all along the claw?
