  1. Dreaming for that since the end of my dark Age, 2013. The set Is overpriced but full of new parts. Better wait for a discount but i'm not sure i can wait after 12 years hoping in those ball joints🤣
  2. I recently bought It with a huge discount, and i think this Is a very good set. It works perfectly and it's a really strong build. Can lift 1 kg in the shortest position that Is a good deal for an official set. I managed to lift the Mercedes G500 ( little more than 2kg) with a little mod to the boom lenght and doubling the counterweight. Yes, for me was a nice surprise, the first c+ set i appreciated (and i still prefer Power functions). It's expensive even at 500€, but Is playable, moddable and has unique MOC Crane parts.
  3. Yep, i confused M and L. XL has still the higher torque.
  4. According to filohome site, XL motors has 4x more torque than L motors. That's why i tought to use that, even if it's volume can be more difficult to place inside.
  5. Hi, thank you for your reply, i was thinking to use XL motors for drive and rotating boom due to it's torque and slower Speed (the boom rotation Is too fast for a Crane like that). There are many empty parts in the structure, maybe it's tricky to keep It strong as It Is now, placing all the gears inside. For the overstructure, i would try to use One XL with a gearbox that switch between the three functions. For now, i have to finish the set, but i'm sure i'll be tired of c+ soon. Anyway, big thanks for your help.
  6. Hi everyone, i'm building 42146 in these days, i found a huge discount that convinced me to buy a c+ set. I hate c+, so i'm thinking to convert It to Power functions, has anyone of you already made It? Do you have any suggest or ideas about that conversion? Thank you
  7. I think we'll not have new wheel arch in orange. Front are the classic city fenders, rear are in the existent Speed Champions mould.
  8. Anyone tried to change the fork rack? I'd like to "verticalize" the steering column to increase the joint stability when you push down the suspension. I will try to switch the 5L with a 6L liftatms that hold the 3x3 dbg liftatms Thin. Have you other ideas?
  9. I think PU xl motors can be hard coupled easily. Torque is very low, compared to the old xl, and according to Philo's tests, is even lower than the PU L motors.
  10. I agree with you when you say that new diff is good only for RC model but, I think you are wrong about friction, new ones have less friction then the old one, even with 2 gears more. Maybe because they are holded in place more freely.
  11. Arocs is simply the best technic set so far.
  12. Sounds a little strange that 42109 has not a parts list on bricklink yet, maybe the new "owner" is trying to posticipate the selling of the new diff? At the moment, the only way to get it is buying the set...
  13. I think the left side of diff, goes inside the 28t. That side of diff seems too big for any other cloutch gear..
  14. Seems catamaran has a new 4L link.. No... It's 9L...
