  1. Mark my words, they will not be including any figures of interest in that absolutely crushingly expensive Death Star. It is clearer now than ever before that the LEGO Group are seriously disregarding classic playsets from their Star Wars waves. As it's been said before on this same topic, the set slots are getting jammed with gimmicky builds that honestly should have died as a concept with the planet sets (open for debate) or been restricted to microfighters only. The good news is, LEGO (like any big toy company) tends to watch the market carefully, and although they fumble more than they do right, they do take massive customer backlash into consideration. If we could only make it "the cool and trendy thing" of the moment to have classic, system-scale playsets, you can be sure as heck they'll be popping them out like Genghis babies. And on the other hand, if helmet sets, buildable characters and the likes of them receive a negative image (=drops in sales since people live by the image of things nowadays), you'll be finding them in 7 years from now on, in stock rooms, right next to a Jyn Erso buildable figure. While this would not help the exorbitant prices, which are a problem of their own and perhaps not entirely a LEGO one, it would definitely restore some quality to this previously acclaimed theme, that I'm sure caused many, if not most of us, to completely fall in love with the brand.
  2. For those wondering whether or not Jabba would be affected by the colored pupil disease, I would be GREATLY surprised if that came to be the case. It would seem the standard they're going for has to do only with the "classic" minifigure head. Looking at Darth Jar Jar, who still retained normal Gungan eyes, I wouldn't expect any alien to fall under that rule. It would truly be a shocker if Jabba was made to be a zombified big fig.
  3. Everyone keeps talking about what helmet mold they'd print Enoch's golden face on, meanwhile I'm thinking they could throw a clone p2 pilot/V wing pilot mold with the face just being on the minifigure head piece underneath.
  4. No, he doesn't. In fact, he's the only inquisitor in the show. The other two seem to be something different.
  5. That's insanely good news. I like this a lot more than the regular clear bars.
  6. Jacen Syndulla's hair isn't green anymore, and the ears aren't moulded onto his headpiece at least... A retcon to be sure, but a welcome one.
  7. Best fit for Syril Karn would EASILY be a Frodo Baggins head. Especially the angrier face ones.
  8. Very good ideas right here! Especially that foot flipper one. I would like to use a regular minifigure head, and I have yet to find a way to attach the foot flipper to the head somehow
  9. Hello, everyone. Recently, I've been trying to make use of all my spare minifigure pieces, especially older ones, to make Star Wars customs. I'm really proud of how some of them turned out. Of course, I found a bunch of yellow heads from back in the day, and put together a Jedi Master Tiplar minifigure. Everything was going well until I reached the Lekku-like part. I realized I had no yellow hairpiece, not a single one. Does anyone know what else I can do to complete the figure? It can be a brick-built design, a specific "common" piece, or in case of last resort, some kind of paper-made design. Thank you in advance! (Due to where I live, I'm unable to order anything online. So that won't be a working solution.)
  10. So, are we actually getting a fall wave of any kind, or is this it for 2022 LEGO Star Wars playsets? IIRC there wasn't one last year.
  11. Those are some great ideas, exactly what I was looking for! Thank you! A part or more from the picture, combined with any other parts you suggest. It just has to include at least one thing that's on the picture.
  12. Hello! (This is a repost from a topic I made in Minifig Customization Workshop, which seemed to be unfitting since most people probably aren't knowledgable enough about Star Wars aside from here.) I'm currently going full Star Wars mode, so I am attempting to make use of all my spare minifigure parts to create characters. The picture shows some minifigs I own, feel free to point-out any character that could be made with any of these parts (added to other generic pieces from my collection), be it from Canon or EU/Legends. I'm really desperately looking for ideas. Anything from a head piece to a cape alone is fine!

  14. In fact, now that I look at the pictures again, I'm having concerns about it actually being able to close-up. It seems the hinge pieces for the sections on both sides are going to lock in a 90° angle which I would definitely have to mod if it came to be the case.
  15. Build is smaller than I thought, yet I guess this could look better than I expected when all closed-up. I'll have to wait until the official reveal in order to know whether I'm buying it or not.
