@Ellisss_2 Thanks! Also, I think the 1x2 Ingot pieces in white are perfect to recreate the wall-cubes. After LEGO released these pieces in white just a few weeks ago in 2 new 2020 sets (was long overdue!), I had to design this Tantive IV-Diorama. Seriously, I waited about 2 years to get this piece in white for exactly this reason : @Makin Bacon Thanks man ! To be honest the macaroni design isn't originally from me, I saw this picture and thought it is the perfect piece to recreate this very special and iconic shape: I tried 8 different shaped versions for the Side Corridor-walls, until I finally came up with this design :D.

I finally finished building my very own TANTIVE IV Diorama MOC : What do you guys think?

@LegoCalrissian I think this one is the best out there: But it's true, every design out there has it's flaws, especially in terms of gaps by closing the two claw-parts. I promise you, I will do my best
-
@LegoCalrissian Thank you man! Appreciate it very much ! Fun fact: I tried many times to design the meditation chamber from the Executor, but every time I got hang up at the claws and their seamless interlocking. But I will definetly revisit this build, I love the Star Destroyer so much and it would be a shame not to have this rebuild with LEGO-bricks ;D. It's already on my to-do list ! Also, I'm currently designing a Cloud City Diorama, so stay tuned for that one. I can proudly say about the things I already accomplished there, that it's a million times better than the 75222 ;).

This is my very own Tantive IV Diorama MOC built of LEGO bricks: ! Minifig scale ! This SPECIAL EDITION Star Wars Diorama recreates one of the most iconic scenes in the Original Trilogy: the Boarding Assault on Princess Leia's Ship Tantive IV by Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers from Star Wars: A New Hope ... Tantive IV features the iconic Main Corridor including the round shape design and a smoothly sliding Airlock Doorway, that reveals an indicated Imperial Hallway behind to recreate the Borading Assault, as well as 2 more Doors which lead to the Side Corridor where Princess Leia records her message in R2-D2, including atmosphere tanks and piping on the left and right side, and to the Operations Forum where Captain Antilles gets interrogated by Vader. You can access the Forum also by the Side Corridor. All 3 included rooms have the exact same arrangement as in the movie, and every single one of them was designed to be as accurate as possible. You can access the rooms by many different angles. This Diorama MOC especially features a ton of accurate details which are difficult to put in words, but you can appreciate them by taking a closer look on the pictures stated above ;D. The entire build is extremly sturdy which allows you to grab the whole build without falling apart, and every detail is securely locked in place. The 270 degree wide open diorama look allows you to take professional shots of scenes with your minifigures, reenact moments from Star Wars: A New Hope or Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, or just display it on your shelf. Recreate the Imperial Borading Assault, C-3POs search for R2, Leia's very first appearance on Star Wars where she records her message in R2, Antilles Interrogation by Vader, or Leia's hide from the searching Stoormtroopers! --> Purchasable Instruction Manual and XML-Parts List available in my own shop: https://payhip.com/TheCreatorr You can follow me on flickr or take a look at more Star Wars MOCs of mine: https://www.flickr.com/photos/the-creatorr/ What do you guys think? Please note, that you can get the Instructions for this MOC in my own shop. And even if you only want to know how some building techniques works for this build, you can cleary use my Intructions for inspiration! As we all know, LEGO delivers a huge amount of freedom for building our most beloved scenes from SW.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
TheCreatorr replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@PusH There is a garbage chute in my diorama (unfortunately I couldn't render the pics with more lighting ), specifically inside the Prison Corridor (grid-opening). You can remove the grid and by that, you reveal a small chute, that is big enough to fit a minifigure inside, as well as some modified plates with grips, to indicate the blasted grid when Leia shot on it. The inner walls of the chute also includes some brown colours, to represent garbage. -

Hey guys, what do you think about my own Death Star Detention Block AA-23 with Prisoner Cell Diorama MOC built of LEGO bricks: I don’t want to promote my build in any way, I just want to get feedback from LEGO SW fans, to improve the build or make more accurate changes :). -

This is my very own Death Star Detention Block AA-23 with Prisoner Cell Diorama MOC built of LEGO bricks: ! Minifig scale ! This SPECIAL EDITION Star Wars Diorama recreates one of the most iconic scenes in the Original Trilogy: the Rescue of Princess Leia inside the Detention Block AA-23 by Han, Luke and Chewie from Star Wars: A New Hope ... Death Star Detention Block AA-23 with Prisoner Cell features the iconic Security Foyer with 2x Turbolifts, Imperial Lights on the wall, a Command Center Duty Post where the Officer receives the prisoners, 2x Cargo Containers, a 57C Holocam and one fully closed hexagon-shaped Blast Door. The other Blast Door leads to the hexagon-shaped Prison Corridor section which features a removable grid to unveil the Garbage compressor shaft, as well as an easy removable Prisoner Cell Door with hidden mechanism, that leads to Princess Leia's Cell 2187 with the Interrogation Droid IT-0 inside. The Prisoner Cell 2187 features a bench, ceiling with lights, and surrounding wall details. The Prison Corridor is slightly more elevated than the Security Foyer and Prisoner Cell, and like in the movie, you access the Corridor and Cell by taking a few steps up or down. The 180 degree wide open diorama look allows you to take professional shots of scenes with your minifigures, reenact moments from Star Wars: A New Hope or Battlefront 1 / 2, or just display it on your shelf. Recreate Han's funny failed conversation, Luke's first collide with Leia, Leia's Interrogation by Vader, or the Escape through the Garbage compressor shaft! I took very much attention to the source material references for this SPECIAL EDITION Star Wars Diorama, which resulted in this highly detailed and accurate recreation of one of the most iconic scenes in Star Wars. @dvogon Thx dude -
@dvogon Great that you like the series ! As @cehnot explained absolutely right, this (my) Echo Base Hangar Bay is a corner piece (side bay) for a Snowspeeder. It doesn't fit an XWing in terms of scale (width and height) unfortanetly. Due to the highly increasing price of additional key parts, I designed the Hangar Bay to fit only Snowspeeders or any vehicles in that same scale, but not the X-Wing or even Millenium Falcon. But if you want to have a Hangar Bay that can fit f.e. your own X-Wing model, you can modify the Hangar Bay MOC using the same building techniques that are shown step-by-step in the Instructions (that was intended )! P.S.: Sorry for the late answer, I was very busy . @Omand Thank you , that's nice to hear! For now, I finished my Hoth Echo Base Modular MOC Series (MedBay, Command Center, Hangar Bay), but I plan to design the additional Echo Base Hangar Bay Main Blast Door, so that you can duplicate my Hangar Bay MOC for the left and right side, and to connect them to the Blast Door to have a full Diorama Build. This part will also fit an XWing! To be honest, I don't think that I will design the Ion Cannon, I generally design and build diorama-looking MOCs with interior, and sometimes spaceships. Also, if I would build the Ion Cannon at the right scale to a minifig (like all my builds) it would be definitely too big and pricy . P.S.: Sorry for the late answer, I was very busy the last couple weeks. @cehnot Exactly! Thx for your kind explanation :).

Hoth Echo Base Medical Bay with Corridor MOC
TheCreatorr replied to TheCreatorr's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@Hollander Thank you very (!) much. It's very kind of you saying all that . I truly put tremendous work and time into designing MOCs! I tried with both of my Hoth Echo Base MOCs, MedBay and CC, to get them on the one hand as accurate as possible in LEGO shape, and on the other hand to make them appealing (design choices, colour cobminations) and sturdy as well. I'm really proud of my MedBay for exactly the reason you've mentioned: The rough Ice Corridor vs the look of the kind of sterile looking MedCenter is a pretty great working combination. Glad you ask: I already build a Hoth Echo Base Hangar Bay --> Please note that you can get the Instructions for them (Hangar Bay, MedBay, Command Center) in my own Shop via link that is embedded in my first post under this Topic . P.S.: Sorry for the late answer, I'm very busy at the moment. -

@Reaper Thank you . I tried many different ice dorridor shapes, and I used very much reference to get the shapes right! -> I just posted my newest addition to my Hoth Echo Base Modular MOC Series - The Hoth Echo Base Hangar Bay - : I will also build the Hoth Echo Base Hangar Bay Main Blast Door in the future ... so that you can attach all my MOCs in a modular way to have a full Echo Base dirorama -
This is my very own Hoth Echo Base Hangar Bay MOC built of LEGO bricks: ! Minifig Scale ! Hoth Echo Base Hangar Bay features the iconic Echo Base wall shapes with a "Parking Slot" for a Snowspeeder, ice ground detailing, 5 lamps hanging off the ceiling, scratched wall detailing, a Corridor Door and a ventilation shaft. Included are 10 unique (cargo) containers, each one of them has a special design, as well as two fuel tanks, a welding machine to fix any damage on your Rebel Vehicles, and two unique designs for a Gonk Droid and a Treadwell Droid. This MOC has a very complex build, due to an extremly stable inner structure, that allows you to grab the whole build without falling apart, as well as a tremendous focus on details. The 180 degree wide open diorama look allows you to take professional shots of scenes with your minifigures, reenact moments from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back or Battleefront 1 / 2, or just display it on your shelf. Furthermore, this MOC can be extended, like my Death Star Hangar Bay MOC, using the same building techniques that are shown step-by-step in my Instruction Manual. > > > Addition: The Hangar Bay itself is designed to fit every LEGO Official Snowspeeder Set, MOC or custom build in minifig scale (f.e. FlyingWaffle's/BrickVault's Snowspeeder version) < < < --> Purchasable Instruction Manual and XML-Parts List available in my own shop: https://payhip.com/TheCreatorr You can follow me on flickr or take a look at more Star Wars MOCs of mine: https://www.flickr.com/photos/the-creatorr/ What do you guys think ? (The Hangar Bay is a part of my TheCreatorr - Hoth Echo Base Modular MOC Series. It fits together perfectly with my two other MOCs "Hoth Echo Base Medical Bay with Corridor" and "Hoth Echo Base Command Center with Corridor", because they are designed so that they complement each other: Please note, that you can get the Instructions for both of them in my own shop (link in the first post of mine).
