  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the amulet in these sets looks like a new mold based on the dragon head shape (not bc of left/right facing, ik they're double sided). If this is right and one's Wohira, what's the other? Nya's possible dragon form?
  2. Lloyd's hydro mech looks so... awkward; it even looks like the top of the cockpit has no back. However, I think there might be a super slim chance that it's another 2-in-1 like kai's mech from prime empire. In this case it could use the boat hull shoulder armor for a boat build? I'm just trying to find a reason it looks so barebones. I also love the hydro snakes/electric(?) eels. Glad they brought that piece back, I can tell they're going to look so sick.
  3. If they haven't, it's probably because there's only a single exclusive figure per pack along with generic ones. I'm not asking for bricktober pack-level exclusives/printing, but the older accessory packs had full sets of exclusives.
  4. I don't know what set the lloyd is in, but here are the rest: Possession: City of Stiix (white Jay), Temple of Airjitzu (gold Wu, gold Cole) Skybound: The Lighthouse Siege (white lord Garmadon) DotD: Rock Roader (gold kendo Cole) Hands of Time: Dragon's Forge (red Samurai X) Movie: Destiny's bounty (brown Kai, brown Wu), Ninjago city docks (gold movie Garmadon, gold movie zane) The original ninjago city also has some more (right side), but they're not really consistent with the others. I personally keep the ones I have on the ninjago city comic shop shelf, but if they add any more I'll have to find more space
  5. I don't think it's for another set, as this is in line for the previous ninjago city releases. If I recall correctly the comic clerk had a shirt with the Galidor logo, and i think there are other examples (although the other references to lego themes may have just been relegated to stickers). The one potential benefit to the printed eyepiece is that he could possibly have the red version on the other side of the face? Probably just wishful thinking, though. Unfortunately, the minifig selection has dashed my last hope of getting a casual harumi (I still can't believe they did stone harumi and nameless sog member in that bricktober pack). Also as I was writing this, exabricks on insta just released a much better photo of the gardens.
  6. Not sure if this question qualifies as a design decision, and also this question has probably been answered elsewhere before, but I've always wondered why lego never makes minifigure hands in metallic colors save for pearl gold. For example, the silver protocol droids, the winter soldier, and cyborg (DC super heroes) all have to make do with awkward light/dark bluish gray hands. Anyone know why? Is it something to do with how resilient those types of plastic are, or?
  7. Thanks! Cool to see them connecting the series to the oni era again. I hope one of the other connections turns out to be some closure on the time twins.
  8. Not to diverge from the city gardens discussion too much, but I think I found a possible connection to the S14 sets from the show. In S8E5 "dead man's squall", Nya and Jay mention a tribe that worshipped a storm god called Wohira (I only remembered this because I think it was a sneaky bionicle reference to wairhua). Anyway, given that some of the names of the tribe enemies as well as their weapons are storm-themed, I think this is that tribe.
