    Looks like Gandalf has a new sword mold (Glamdring?) I would have liked the Gondor helmets to not have such a wide eye opening. Faramir’s short cape and orange hair seems off but easy to fix.

    We had a traditional castle theme in 2014 with blue lions and red dragons which I felt was a downgrade from Kingdoms. While the hobbits sets had a shorter shelf life I place more blame on nexo knights that ran for a couple years for the death of traditional castle themes. I’m happy we are getting some castle options and hopefully we get a full theme at some point.

    The DnD CMF is useful because of the variety of parts that can be used with the DnD IP, custom, and non-IP themes. I’m all for variety but if there is a Castle CMF line with a pink princess, a jester, and a blacksmith that ends up being less valuable to me than another round of DnD.

    The rumored price seems off if there is only 2017 pieces and a couple of figures. Fortnight bus is $100 with 9 unique figs and new molds with 954 pieces, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t come with the full company of dwarves if it’s based on the Hobbit movie.

    Isn’t there BDP forestman set coming out soon? I think there is certainly demand but got to keep it on a drip feed.

    Very nice build. Love the sign. are those shutters custom prints?

    I’ll take whatever I can get but would prefer smaller sets as they are more accessible for average consumers so I can find them in bulk lots in 3-5 years. It’s also much easier to army build with $30 sets. I do feel like the design quality of the hobbit sets was a bit of a let down although I am glad we got An unexpected gathering.

    It’s a cool design but I would prefer it was split into two sets similar to Jaba’s palace and the rancor pit.

    I’d prefer if they offer some more smaller sets along with a D2C. It’s a good way to introduce more figures especially with battle packs like 79012-1/Mirkwood-Elf-Army or poly bags were an option

    I’d be good with a classic castle homage set every year as long as they make torsos and accessories available on PAB. Let’s see, how about Falcons Fortress, Black Knights Tower, and Wolfpack Lair

    Looks like there is a plain version of the Viking helmet from series 20 that comes in the Sanctum Santorum.

    Anyone else notice the tan plume\feather in the bedroom as a quill? That should bring down the price of that piece quite a bit.
