I totally agree, the minifigs are not the main attraction of the set but it could be the deciding factor for many that are on the fence on buying it. I just don't want sales to be hurt by this. Nonetheless, I do believe it will sell well. Now that I am reading the AMA on reddit, I shouldn't complain about the minifigure selection. The designer had his hand tied and did his best. His best was excellent.

Yeah the ratio of new minifigures to repeats is not ideal. For 300 dollars worth you better get more than 5 new heroes. The civilians don't count because the main draw are the heroes and villains. Heck if they got rid of the news stand and replaced Amber Grant for someone else like Electro that'll be great! Remove the taxi and the driver and add a big fig Rhino, it would have ideal since there is a wall that's busted open. This will hurt their sales which sucks because the designer said if this sells well they'll do more like it. I hope they see that the minifigure selection has a lot to do with it. We talk about minifigure quality a lot on this thread but I feel the discussion is valid in this case because its an 18+ set. It's supposed to appeal to us.

Liberties taken to adapt the building into LEGO form. I agree the windows sizes could have varied. But a tan building like this one wouldn't make it any more unique. Just another basic boxy skyscraper. Tan and gray are both neutral colors. Clearly they got the red Daily Bugle logo from this version of the building, that's cool. I guess I can see why people don't like the building all that much. It's not the worst thing ever, is what I am trying to say. A clean gray look is nice. Are the layers somewhat interchangeable? I couldn't tell from the images.

The criticism for the building being bland is a little harsh in my opinion. It's made to be exactly like how the daily bugle looks in the comics. A plain skyscraper building with Daily Bugle on top. How else could it have been better? The red logo and stairs I understand but it's bold and unapologetically LEGO so I dig it.

Where's the Jesus minifigure? I don't see it. lol Set is amazing! Still on the fence on buying the whole set given how I have all the heroes and villains, minus the new ones. I'll probably bricklink them but it'll cost a fortune and potentially at half the price of this whole set. By the way,t is a beautiful display piece. I currently use the Bridge battle set from a while back as my Spiderman display piece so this would be an upgrade and with more space for villains.

I hope so but I think there is a high probability it will continue. The Infinity saga is something they can capitalize on with all this merchandise because it’s the end of a saga and we’ve been in an MCU hiatus so it’s good timing for them to do this. I keep tabs on power rangers and they have a lightning collection that’s been going on for a while. They release figures from different generations with no signs of stopping and this infinity saga campaign feels similar. The infinity saga is won’t continue for years but I could see Lego and other companies doing enough until the films they haven’t covered before, will be covered.

My thoughts exactly. I mean it really can't be an Infinity saga collection if they don't cover all the films at least once. Hopeful predictions for next year Iron Man 2 Thor 1 or 2 Cap WS Avengers 1 (doesn't hurt to retread, they did it with Endgame) Maybe they'll release some Disney+ sets under the Infinity Saga collection?

On the topic of the infinity saga sets, idk if anyone has mentioned it here but this "Infinity Saga" line is much bigger than LEGO. The action figure packaging has the exact same logo. They are releasing figures from different movies. I'm thinking that this Infinity saga campaign is going to be long running past 2021 and through different toy companies. I initially thought it was this year only for LEGO but it's bigger than that. If that is the case than we can expect 8 more sets next year! not including sets made for the new films.

So is this Bugle set mainly focused on the Daily Bugle building or is it New York City setting with the Daily Bugle being a portion of the setting? Is the set name Daily Bugle? Idk the minifigure line up doesn't feel like its a Daily Bugle oriented set.

Is it the same face piece? Ok then yeah the size they gave us is fine lol

I knew I'd love the iron monger set. Looks amazing, oversized but detailed. I hope we can find a way to downsize it enough so that its not too huge yet still keeping its stickers and hydraulics. No easy feat. Iron man's shield is a very nice touch. Everything else looks good; great sets with amazing details!

That's not the sanctuary. It's the Black Panther ship set with Shuri. So far things look good. That hydra agent has a gray robber cap lol. The iron monger looks massive, but I think that was expected. It wasn't going to be size accurate

The Marvel must haves website has updated to show new captain america merchandise. But i see nothing on LEGO so far. I do see a peculiar looking Bucky funko pop, hes in a red jacket.

I’d imagine the cmf is going to be in boxes like vidiyo series right? Can’t feel for the character we want if that’s the case

Speaking of dreading the worst, I hope Cap Falcon cmf doesn’t come with flimsy plastic wings like hawk man in the darkseid set It wouldn’t be bad but I wouldn’t want that for a cmf figure

Maaaan, I was thinking of passing on the D2C and buying select minifigures. This minifigure lineup is pushing me to just buy the whole thing.

My thought exactly. Also, Wanda got her finale suit in the CMF, that's the only thing giving me hope for a Cap falcon. But yeah, a cap falcon can come later on in a future set. The CMF would be the only chance to get a Red White Falcon, unless a new FATWS set is released. Otherwise, this version would be skipped over by LEGO.

Cookie* So what version of Falcon are we getting? Regular or cap? Monica is a nice surprise, not Agatha but still great. I think the What if minifigures are getting a lot of slack. Honestly, it bums me out too but maybe once the series is out, we can grow to love whatever we get.
