  1. Also, I think the "underground scene" will be a lot simpler than what some here are thinking. It'll probably just be a small straight section of track leading to a pair of small vaults (Harry's and 713). Also, I don't think they'll include the Ironbelly, since a big playscale dragon would both take up a lot of pieces and distract from the collector's feel of the kit. It's the only cancelled set we know of. A concept drawing of it was featured in the 2011 HP Visual Dictionary.
  2. I'm bored, so here are my ideal figure predictions (i.e. not including duplicates of the trio for different time periods). I'm also just presuming the inclusion of LC, Ollivander's, Gringotts, F&B, and WWW, because that just seems the most likely situation based on existing clues. -Harry (SS/PS) -Ron (CoS) -Hermione (CoS) -Hagrid (PS/SS) -Ginny (CoS) -Mr. Ollivander (PS/SS) -2 Goblins (PS/SS) -Fred & George (HBP) -Lockhart (CoS) -Lucius (CoS) -Draco (CoS) -Arthur (CoS) -Tom the Inkeeper -Doris Crockford -Dedalus Diggle Those last two are just because I want the set to include some fun and unique minor characters that most won't mind missing out on but fans would still want, and those two fit with the Leaky Cauldron. Also, I imagine any and all characters we get two time period designs for would have the alternates set in HBP, to go along with WWW. (PoA figures just don't make sense to me.)
  3. On one hand, it does make sense for the D2C to have its number in line with D2C Hogwarts. On the other, as much as I'd love to believe this, there simply isn't much evidence in favor of this aside from one kingnono hint that could go many different ways.
  4. We've already had a micro-scale Diagon Alley. In fact, it was too a much larger scale than micro Hogwarts. That set included 5 buildings and was 374 pieces, so 75 pieces per building on average. Considering how micro sets have small pieces and therefore good PPP ratios, we can presume the set will have at least 5,000 pieces. (This is lowballing to the extreme, but I'll go with it.) That would mean a $400 micro Diagon Alley would include 67 buildings. I consider myself a hardcore fan, and I can name about 12 buildings in Diagon Alley. Not to mention that this would be nearly nine feet long. The D2C won't be microscale. As for the clue about the set making minifigure collectors happy, the micro Hogwarts made minifigure collectors angry, because it locked four highly detailed figures behind a $400 paywall for a set they didn't want. A set that makes minifigure collectors happy would be a set designed for minifigures, featuring a wide assortment of exclusive minifigures, and a good amount of figures for the price you're paying. LEGO even included Griphook in the CMF so they'd have a new goblin piece to use in this set. The D2C will not be microscale. There is no way to make a $400 Diagon Alley at microscale. We already have a microscale Diagon Alley that is to a much larger scale than the castle, and it didn't crack even 400 pieces, let alone 4,000. I enjoyed micro Hogwarts, but a lot of fans didn't, and LEGO knows that people crave a minifigure-scale D2C. Not to mention that Falconfan literally made a post about this set being microscale on April Fools Day. This set will be in minifigure-scale. It will not be in microscale.
  5. It was a lot less than a couple days. I distinctly remember seeing the leaked pictures for the first time that morning, driving to a restaurant for a lunch meet-up, and the official images being out when I got there. The only one that was out a few days before it's official reveal was the Knight Bus.
  6. Oh, forgot about that one. Still though, I don't think any of the other 2018 sets were leaked, and I know none of the other 5 2019 sets were. (And when I refer to leaks, I do mean them being posted where anyone can see them, as I'm pretty sure that's what most people want.) That's actually a really good idea, and would be a great use of a print. Yeah, as much as I love the 2011 Gringotts, the interior left a LOT to be desired.
  7. I don't know. Out of the 14 retail sets we've had so far, the only ones to leak early were Aragog and the Knight Bus, both of which were revealed very shortly after. That's an 86% success rate of not leaking.
  8. Well, it's important to remember that #4 Privet Drive is by no means a very detailed house, so I imagine they could get very far on ~700 pieces (subtracting out what goes to the car). I'll be surprised if the interior isn't at least 7 studs thick.
  9. Why Luna? I'd trade out Hermione, she already comes in the Grawp set.
  10. I think Ginny is fairly likely.
  11. The prints I want the most are definitely for various books in the Wizarding World. Magical Me is the most likely, seeing as how Lockhart likely will be included, but I'd also like to get Fantastic Beasts or Quidditch Through the Ages: Not only do both exist as physical books, but it'd just be cool to expand out our wizarding library. This one's more of a paint application than a print, but I really hope we get some bronzed and silver coins for Gringotts, it's a little tiring only ever getting gold. Other than that, I can't think of anything I really want as prints, honestly, although printing for the signs on the buildings would be a good quality touch. Also, this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I really hope Borgin & Burkes isn't included. If the buildings are lined up like modulars like most here are presuming, it'd have to attach to the back, which wouldn't look very good by itself imo. Not to mention that it'd take up pieces that could be used on a more interesting and obscure building that we have no chance of getting outside of this set, like QQS or Eeylops. I'm sure the accessories inside would be fun, but I think that's one building that would make more sense to release as a standalone later down the line, when it wouldn't detract from a $400 kit. Also, while I'm still commenting, I really hope that the PoA Harry leak is fake: if you're getting two eras, I think CoS and HBP are the best options. (HBP for WWW, and CoS, which also functions for PS/SS, for Gringotts, LC, Ollivanders, and F&B.) Honestly, I'd be willing to take the fall on WWW for right now just to get more obscure characters from the early films rather than two versions of the trio +Ginny and Draco, especially since WWW is definitely popular enough to sell as a standalone set, but I know that won't happen.
  12. Yeah, we're also getting a new Greyback.
  13. Since he doesn't have a Slug Club outfit for the AT, he could always be in uniform in that set.
  14. There aren't. Chances are, it's either shown for comparison, complete bs, or was just mistaken taken from last year's production line. The same thing happened late last year: someone leaked a bunch of heads that ended up appearing in late 2019/early 2020 sets, but among them was the 2018 Hermione head, despite there being no sets it appeared in during that timespan. Alternatively, this could also be the figure from the poly bag, but that'd be really lame.
  15. Gosh, I hope so. I really want the trio in that styling. (Plus, it'd squeeze an extra $10 from my pocketbook into LEGO's, since I'd totally get two of each, to display them as both characters.)
  16. _kingnono_ just posted a new clue, one which is half exciting and half gobbledygook. "Both sides of polyjuice potion" implies we'll be getting more polyjuiced characters with double faces a la Moody- I'm hoping for Slytherin Harry and Ron in the CMF, but it could alternatively be Bellatrix in Diagon Alley. (I can't think of any other occasions of Polyjuice in the movies, outside of the 7 Potters.) The bottom half of the clue, however, just reminds me of the Mr. Incredible meme.
  17. I don't see a Voldemort. If you're referring to the topmost figure in the dress piece, it's from Ninjago- look closely, and you can see that the head is the new fantasy skull piece.
  18. A new leak of Luna in her dress has been posted to #legoleaks. Glad to see she has double-molded legs, but I'm now curious to see if those are printed. Hopefully, but I doubt it.
  19. RoR: Harry, Hermione, Luna Grawp: Harry, Hermione, Umbridge, 2 Centaurs, Brickbuilt Grawp (a la Giant Man) Hedwig: Harry Privet Drive: Harry, Ron, Dobby, Vernon, Petunia, Dudley Astronomy Tower: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Lavender, Draco, Luna (Dress), Slughorn Burrow: Bellatrix, Greyback CMF: On the bag
  20. The best matches I can think of are the Rebels Sabine hair and the Solo Qira hair, both of which are far from perfect. They very well might have no choice but to make a new piece, but we'll just have to wait and see.
  21. Kay, so that new quote was said by Tonks, which implies that she and Remus will appear in the Burrow as well. I'm interested to see whether Remus will get a new variant, or just a reprint from 75955.
  22. Well, there have been past sets that were able to fit two figures side-by-side in a 6-wide vehicle, so they could just redesign the base to allow for a four-seater six-wide Ford Anglia, which is my hope.
  23. Oh, sorry. I was thinking of the LEGO game version for some reason.
  24. If we are getting a Burrow, I find that to be a distinct possibility. Not only would that provide opportunity for more new Weasleys (i.e. Bill), but just more interesting characters in general. Plus, Bellatrix did crash the wedding, so she could appear in either era for the Burrow. Also, considering the absolute vitriol book fans have had for the HBP Burrow fight for the past decade, LEGO might see going with that route again as a bit risky.
