  1. Thanks for the advice.~ The armour hall is definitely a good invest since it has some nice figures and will be a good way to display my iron man suits. Igor will be a treat to modify and make it more bulky and less gappy.
  2. So I plan on picking up the war machine buster and the hall of armor when they come out, but I am not sure which one I should pick up first, so I want to ask you guys which one is the better first day pickup. Thank you!
  3. You know, with the reveal of the hydro man minifigure, I’m thinking that hydro man’s head might be a decent option for a purist Kang.
  4. Alright, now that I figured out how to get photos viewable on here, I’ll share some of my purist figures. These aren’t the best (If I had access to bricklink it would be easier making these), but I try to make due with what parts I can get. Enjoy! From left to right: Scarlet spider, punisher, dormammu, and Ulysses Klaue
  5. It does! I will have to try that.
  6. Oooooh man! These sets caught me by suprise. I didn’t expect them to pop up so soon, but in the words of Palpatine, “a suprise to be sure, but a welcome one”. The molten man build looks great with all those transparent orange pieces and street signs and car parts attached to him, not to mention that goid looking stealth suit spidey minifigure (if I do get another one, I’ll definitely make a spiderman noir with that head). Definite a first day pick up for me! The venice set is also another good build with a neat little bridge build which is great for anyone wanting to make a venice MOC, and our first peter parker in around ten years! The hydro man build is a little odd and I’m not a fan of MJ’s hair piece, but hey, it’s lego. We can always modify those things with existing pieces. The stark jet, while a solid build, is easily passable for me (Since I already own the 2012 quinjet), though I’ll probably get fury on his own. Happy is a bit disappointing, but thankfully there are existing hair and head pieces that can easily replace those on him. I’m glad that they’ve included mysterio in all the sets, makes it easier for those who have a limited budget to get him without the exclusivity. Overall, I think the Far from home wave is a solid wave, and a breath of fresh air from the lack luster Endgame wave. For anyone wanting to make the ditko suit, you could possibly give the homecoming suit black arms and a black hip piece if that helps make the mini-figure look more black in color.
  7. I’m not sure who that character is, but I’ll look into it. Thanks for the feed back. ^_^
  8. So I recently picked up the cat suit lady from the series 18 mini figure series and I was wondering what marvel character I could use the dual molded arms and legs for. The only character I can think of as of now is count Nefaria. I’m open for suggestions.
  9. Silver samurai perhaps? Or maybe Rhodey’s cybernetic legs.
  10. You could use the hand cuff technique to cover up the printing without removing it. Hope this helps!
  11. Cool! I am gonna share another few parts list for anyone wanting to experiment. Classic Yellow jacket: Helmet: Hank Pym’s helmet from the 76039 Ant man final battle set Head: Han solo’s head from the Solo sets Torso: Power man’s torso from the spiderman spider copter set with black hands Hip piece: Standard black hip piece Legs: The where are my pants guy’s dual molded legs from the welcome to apocalypse-berg set (plain yellow legs work too) Count Nefaria: Hair: Bruce wayne’s hair piece (this hair piece is on lots of other figures as well) Head: General Zod’s head from the lego batman movie mini figures series 2 Cape: Vision’s cape (or robin’s yellow cape from the older batman sets) with a black cape placed over it Torso: The shadow trooper’s torso from the upcoming Star wars 20th anniversary Imperial dropship battle pack Arms: Syndrome’s arms from the Disney mini figures series 1 Hip piece: Standard white hip piece Legs: Also syndrome’s legs from the Disney mini figure series 1 Amadeus Cho hulk (aka totally awesome hulk): Hair: The mini figures series 6 mechanic’s hair piece Head: The mini figures series 14 monster rocker’s head Torso: Hulks torso from the Avengers: Age of ultron poly bag Arm band: Hand cuff piece with the cuffs cut off from the chain placed on his right arm Hip piece: The diver’s hip piece from the 2015 target exclusive mini figure gift set Legs: Hulks dual molded legs from the Avengers: age of ultron polybag
  12. Black widow’s torso backwards would work well with some sand green hands. I don’t know of many official sand green legs. Edit: I didn’t realize lego made some sand green legs with printing. Perhaps Satele shan’s legs or the space hero’s legs with a sand green hip piece would work. My bad for not being more observant.
  13. Teal? Like the medium blue color teal? I haven’t seen any parts in that color, but when I search teal pieces it shows medium blue. Is that the color you speak of?
  14. I can think of a few pieces to make them. Lex luthor’s dark green torso from that polybag back in 2012 with a black neck bracket put on the front with a metallic pearl flat stud on top of it, and then add black arms onto the torso with either black or green/dark green hands.) For the legs you could probably use the legs from the green parademons if you want them to have green boots.
  15. You’re welcome! Glad to be helpful. I’ll drop a few parts list for anyone who wants to try them out. :) (I do apologize for the massive size of the font. I’ve copied these from my notes and I’m having trouble changing the size of them since I’m using an apple device.) I watched Captain Marvel today, and I enjoyed it! So I’ll share some Captain marvel parts list. captain Marvel (Mar-Vell): Hair: Llyod’s hair piece (blonde anakin skywalker hair piece) Head: Captain America’s dark blue helmeted head (either from the first avengers or age of ultron set) Torso: Mr.incredible’s torso from the Disney mini-figure series Arms: Standard red arms with dark blue hands Hip piece: Standard dark blue hip piece Legs: The mini-figure series 16 wild life photographer’s legs Classic skrull: Hat: Green goblin’s hat from the spiderman car chase juniors set Head: Talos’s head from the captain marvel prototype quinjet set Torso: Beast boy’s torso from the Jokerland set Arms: Purple arms with black hands Hip piece: Standard black hipe piece Legs: Beast boy’s dual molded legs from the Jokerland set Noh-Varr: Helmet: Standard black motorcycle helmet Head: Easter batman’s head from the batman movie bricktober pack (or you can use the lone rangers head as well) Torso: The storm trooper’s torso from any recent star wars sets with a black neck bracket on top of it with a transparent red flat stud on the bracket Arms: The mini-figure series 2 Mime’s arms with black hands legs: The AT-DP pilot’s legs from the star wars: rebels sets
  16. Here ya go, I compiled a parts list for ya. :) helmet: The crested black helmet from the castle sets Head: The lone ranger’s head from the lone ranger sets Cape: Standard black cape Torso: Iron skull’s torso from the 76048 Iron skull sub attack set Arms: Standard dark grey arms with black hands Hip piece: Standard black hip piece Legs: Batman’s dual molded legs from the Batman vs Superman sets
  17. Use two of widowmaker’s black gun pieces from the overwatch sets and add two black studs with holes in them on the front of the guns. Hope this helps. :)
  18. Another batmobile? I personally would have preferred a set with a vehicle we haven’t seen in before or in awhile, like the tumbler in mini-figure scale. Edit: Oh wait, the tumbler is a batmobile variant. My bad. XD
  19. That’s understandable from a merchandising point of view (though I’d die for a kree or skrull battle pack).
  20. I’m gonna see it this weekend. Me personally, I’m excited to see it, since I do enjoy 90’s type action movies, not to mention this movie will tie into endgame. I can’t wait to see it.~
  21. While the QR suits are bland and a bit repetitive, I do thin kthey can ne utilitiezed in creative ways so they won’t waste so much space. I do think the legs could be used for a shatter star mini-figure and the torsos could (possibly?) be repurposed for The Fantastic Four’s more futuristic white suits. Also, does anyone know if the captain americe bike set will pop up at walgreens (since some of them sell 20 dollar sets in their toy sections)?
  22. Heck yeah! I’d totally be on board for a skrull battle pack, it would make for a nice set for skrull army builders.
  23. I know I’m late to this, but I think there’s supposed to be a character named dmitri in Spiderman: far from home. That also happens to be first name of the Chameleon’s real identity. Do you think it might be possible for chameleon to pop up in one of the sets (if he is in the movie)?
