Purist Superhero Figures
Captain-DeadPool replied to sok117's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I know this is slightly off topic, but the 70/80’s lawn lady’s dual molded arms would look great on a captain falcon purist figure. Also, I think the ghost knight’s dual molded legs could work for a gambit mini-figure. :) -
The old style pupils do give him the blank and dark look his eyes normally have, especially since his right eye is completely blank. On the subject of sith, what would torso would look good on a purist Nihl? I think proxima midnight’s head combined with harry potter’s hair piece from the upcoming sets (which is lloyd’s hair piece from the lego ninjago movie in black) could work, but I am a bit stumped on what torso to use.

Say, that works much better, especially with the cracked details on the arm prints. Thanks for the suggestion!

I just had an idea pop into my head for a possible purist darth sion mini figure after looking at the official Corvus glaive mini figure. Here’s the combo for anyone wanting to try it out. Enjoy!: Head: Corvus glaive’s head from the 76103 Corvus glaive thresher attack set Torso: The classic alien’s torso from the mini-figures series 6 with a black right hand and a light grey left hand Legs: The wicked witch’s legs from the lego dimensions wizard of Oz pack (or alternatively, you could use darth vader’s legs from any of the recent sets he has appeared in)

That’s awesome! I like the usage of luke’s hoth jacket reversed, as well as the combo of ten numb and ultron’s neck piece. While I am here, would anyone know of a good parts combo for a purist Darth Nihl? I have wanted to make one to go with my Darth Krayt, but I am stumped on what pieces to use. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

What about the head from the official comic book version from that one spiderman set? That one has the same mustache color as Alfred’s hair piece. Hope this helps. -

Say, that nexo knights shoulder armor does works pretty good. Thanks for the recommendation. If I ever get access to brick link, I’ll try it. On the topic of Gotg figures, I was wondering what Scarlett witch’s cloth skirt would look like on yondu when combined with star lord’s legs from the star blaster show down set. -

Hey uh, pardon me for asking this, but has anyone tried out the part combo I have made? Again, I apologize for asking this, but my part selection is limited, so I use my knowledge of parts to supply the ideas of purist characters for anyone to try out. -

If anyone wants to try these parts combination out, feel free to: Ronin (endgame): hood: Standard black hood piece head: Winter soldier’s head (masked mouth side) from the winter soldier poly bag Torso: The talon’s torso from the 76110 Batman: the attack of the talons set Arms: General zod’s arms from the lego batman movie mini-figures series 2 with black hands Legs: General Hux’s legs from the star wars force awakens sets (Vader’s legs from the more recent star wars sets works too) Improved Cross bones: Helmet: Griff Haloreen’s helmet from the Griff Haloreen’s Tie interceptor set Head: Boba/Jango fett’s stubble bearded head from the star wars sets a few years back Torso: Same torso as the official one, but with black hands Legs: The mini-figures series 16 Spy’s legs Starhawk/Ogord (Guardians Vol.2): Hair: Doctor Strange’s hair piece from the sanctum sanctorum showdown set Head: Gregor’s head from the Star wars rebels AT-TE set Shoulder pads: The golden katana shoulder holsters from the Ninjago sets Torso: The acu trooper’s dark blue torso from the jurassic world: fallen kingdom sets Hip piece: Han solo’s dark blue printed belt piece from the slighty older star wars sets Legs: The GCPD officer’s dual molded legs from the lego batman movie accessory pack -
*drops in* Hello there! I’ve recently got back into lego star wars and I thought this place was something of interest. I may not be able to do much (due to my devices forcing me to compress my photos to post on this website), but I would like to contribute something to this thread (with possible part combos for certain characters or anything else pertaining to updating star wars figs). Thank you, and have a good day!

Say, I might have an idea for a purist ditko suit from far from home. I’ll put the parts down below for anyone interested: Head: the same stark tech suit head Torso: Also the same as the normal variant Arms: The surfer’s black printed arms from the lego mini figures series 17 with red hands Legs: Also the stark tech suit’s legs but with a black hip piece (preferably one with red printing) Definitely not perfect, but I hope this helps with anyone’s desire to have the ditko suit. -

My updated ant man and purist war machine. I would use the shadow trooper’s legs from that new star wars set in war machine, but these will do for now. -

Thank you. I hope to do Eson in a similar fashion to Galactus once I harbor enough red and lime green pieces. I myself am not a fan of the QR suits, but I though the colors and designs screamed future foundation F4, so I have used the two I have so far to make Mr fantastic and Johnny storm. Enjoy! -

Thank you! It is one of those older printed lego bricks from the 80’s/70’s I had lying around and thought it would look good on him. Now, for the onslaught. -

I like the skrull! Funnily enough, I made a parts list using almost all those parts.
