  1. You got the second one [7805] right !! [how the heck did you do that? :o ] I think you got the wrong number on your first 'guess', because that's a super pack, and what's in the little container sure isn't a super pack. :D
  2. Hey guys, I was a bit bored, and I thought up this tiny little game. Look at the contents of this little container and tell me which two small sets are in there. If you guess right, there's nothing in it for you, except maybe a bit of bragging rights. ;) Join in if you guys want, with your own pictures. Make sure there are any two [small?] sets mixed together in a container. Take a pic, post ! Have fun ! EDIT: two hints: one set is obviously a '10 Atlantis set, the other one is a Creator set from '09 [according to Brickset].
  3. No, it's not [in] an URL, is it. If you want to have a usable TLD [Top Level Domain], maybe end it with brick. Be creative !
  4. Don't feel bad, I'm older than you.

  5. I registered here to indeed learn tips and tricks, and maybe even feel confident enough to enter in a few contests [which I will lose, but I will enter if I can]. Thanks for your vote of confidence ! :D About MOC's tho: I consider everything I create Open Source. So if I ever make a MOC, expect a building guide. EDIT: sorry for the double post.
  6. Even at my age, I'm hoping to learn a good few things, and eventually dare to do a few MOC's of myself !
  7. You know what, I'm going for something like you posted: a black 1x2 technic brick with two holes facing forward, in which I can place two of those stud connectors. I need a part or two, but I'll let you know [or show] how it turned out if I have it together. This will then be LEGO Tux version 1.2 for those who have the parts. Thanks for your help !
  8. I get minifigs always that way, when arm horizontally positioned: flat side up.
  9. I normally never introduce myself on forums, but why the heck not. :) I'm a 40 year old [ ] [great WarGames scene, so I didn't autoskip you guys to the direct quote, but skip to 0:53 if you want the actual quote within a few seconds] AFOL who only recently [last few years] rediscovered LEGO and decided to join a few communities in order to maybe learn some new techniques and to get to know the general AFOL community as a whole. Don't expect too much from me, I'm mostly just someone who builds sets, and hardly ever MOC's. So no wondrous nifty techniques to learn from me. Well, that's it ! :) Only thing left to say is that this is a great community !
  10. Thanks ! I'll try it, but I kinda doubt if it'll look good, the eyes then protrude too much maybe, but it certainly is worth a try, because it's a solution I hadn't thought of ! Haha, I'm an AFOL who'd JUST returned to the [brilliant] hobby. I'm more leaning towards stickers however, to keep the 'classic look' for this one little project, but I have no idea if there are generic LEGO sticker sheets available?
  11. I just use Imgur myself, because it's fairly stable, and very easy to use.
  12. To my knowledge hands are always oriented with the flat side up [if you put the arms in a horizontal position]. That's how I keep them most of the time.
  13. This is my first post, so hello everybody ! On to business. I like this brick, but I want the colours reversed, so a black 2x2 with white eyes. I've searched on Peeron, but it seems that it doesn't exist [only in white, yellow and red]. Is there an alternative way to achieve this? Maybe with some sticker sheet or so? Any and every help is very welcome. I am not the biggest purist in the world, so an alternative is welcome, as long as it's a sticker sheet or so [no alternative bricks like MB allowed in my house !]. To explain why: Well I like both LEGO and Linux, and I made my own LEGO Tux [Tux is the name of the mascot of the Linux kernel]. (I hope it's okay that I link to that forum? This Tux is my own creation, you can use it if you want, but it's really really simple) I'd love for my little LEGO Tux to have eyes, since they are so pronounced in the mascot. Thanks in advance. BTW, I gotta say, this is one awesome community you guys have here. :)
