  1. Booo! Get a pirate-alarm clock, will ya? Vote: Thomas
  2. I’d vote for Jack, his long post was a whole lot of maybes that add up to nothing more than muddiness. I’m 99% sure Louisa is town. I have no idea why her being scum is still on the table.
  3. The janitor thing works both ways. Malcolm as town saves Joseph, Malcolm as scum guarantees his lynch. I think Thomas is the better choice though. I just don’t trust an investigator who couldn’t be bothered to contact the people they clear.
  4. If scum had 5, the game is broken
  5. It was a janitor, but this was many moons ago.
  6. I would lean towards the ‘investigator’ today. Scum claimed a tracker, they could claim that too. They were blocked last night, right? That plus no kill is a legit reason to lynch.
  7. Lets wait to see what Joseph says before extrapolating too much. Maybe he can clear it up for us.
  8. Just to play Devil's Advocate, I've seen a scenario where the scum could muddy the day's result of an allegiance. In a game as overpowered as this, it's a possibility. As well, Unknown is not third-party per se. Unfortunately, it still leaves a cloud over Joseph's head, in that Malcolm's allegiance was muddied to confuse town about what Joseph's own allegiance is. But no night kill last night. That's a great thing, and may lead us somewhere today!
  9. You don’t smell so great either
  10. Who did he PM? Jack? I can’t keep track of all these fake names.
  11. I don’t like the “logic” of the masons here, thinking one of them gets lynched, guaranteeing the other gets night killed. Nope, lots of other townies to choose from, and useful ones at that. Finding a town result will let us progress to the next day without doubt lingering over the two, and a scum result would finger the other, the “cleared” Joseph. Im not 100% behind this investigator. The chance of investigating The Godfather day one is so small, that smart play is to contact them immediately. Then why contact Joseph, when he hasn’t particularly shown himself town? He’d investigated me, and I worked on two scum lynches... he still hasn’t contacted me. If Malcolm comes up town, the investigator is next on my list.
  12. Waaay too much going on today. I don’t have a clear understanding on what’s going on, between the essays being presented to me, and whatever is going on behind the scenes. in this case, I’m just going to follow the town block. Vote: Malcolm Langley
  13. If you’re blindly relying on investigations for results, we won’t be in good positions in the late days. I’m town because I tried to lynch Barty and Geoffrey early on and carried forth with it, more than because I was investigated. The Godfather is out there, and they could well have been given the killing power. So someone blocked/investigated early on could be up to some bad stuff now.
  14. So you’re suggesting Louisa roleclaimed on day three, trying to start a lynch on Timothy, because they’re scum in cahoots? Interesting theory
  15. No no no. Geoffrey was going down, about to be revealed as scum. Nothing he said on day four is worth anything. Arguably, him going after Timothy for truely flimsy reasons is a mark against Timothy. We’d be better off looking at Geoffrey’s ‘town mode’ on days two and three.
  16. Really, I think I’m pretty cleared to be town, between an investigator result, trying to get Barty out day one, privately suggesting Patrick to jail themselves night three*, and hammering Geoffrey yesterday, going so far as to urge Patrick (I think, maybe Nigel) in private to keep the vote on Geoffrey. You don’t get any townier flavor of vanilla than me. With Tim, I don’t think he’s clear, but I’m not particularly worried about him as of yet. The Godfather is usually inactive on early nights, appearing vanilla. Likely there are two scum left, one being The Godfather, as Barty and Geoffrey had night actions. Depending on the host’s discretion, possibly night actions have floated around the scum team. I’ve seen this host put a finger on the scales to balance out a losing team (and at this point, the scum are losing). Maybe The Godfather is going to get suddenly active. *not to say that they did so because I told them to, but to say I had put that in his ear and would, if scum, have played accordingly. If I were scum, I would have blocked and killed that dude or simply taken any other target I’m vanilla. You don’t get any less active at night than me.
  17. Well, that was a good result yesterday Two for two in the votes is really solid. I wasn’t going to change my vote yesterday, but with Geoffrey’s claim and his tenacity, I wasn’t cocky confident about his lynch. Mom going to hold off until any results come in, but I have to say, is anyone surprised the scum chose to kill off Gordon instead of me? Mom>I’m
  18. Yeah, you did make a mistake. Townies tend to investigate the people they’re suspicious of, not the ones they’re confident of. If you’re the town tracker, you completely did things wrong. As for the angry man, the only flailing, cursing pirate we’ve seen is you. Everyone else has been pretty chill. You bring up heartland city, fingers crossed you aren’t the same roid-rager people suffered in that game
  19. Tell you what Geoffrey, if you come up town, I’m totally willing to look at Timothy a little deeper. I’m still leaning against him though, just because he could have started a bandwagon against Barty on day one.
  20. Geoffrey is totally trying to misdirect.
  21. No, it’s easier to believe than -that you assumed it was most important to investigate the claimed role you trusted most, -that Timothy, who you claim did nothing, is the most likely scum, -that Timothy, who was called out by Louisa, who you explicitly didn’t trust yesterday, is the most likely scum, -that you chose to claim after being called out in thread rather than up front. That’s another scum thing you’re doing, reframing the discussion and misrepresenting what was already stated about you. The townie way would be to at the least admit what is suss, rather than deny it’s there. Pretty scummy Hi Tariq!
  22. Geoffrey could also just have “results”. If scum have a role cop, they could have known Timothy was vanilla, and this would be an easy lie. vote: Geoffrey Holton
  23. I don’t care about this twice in a row thing. You have ‘town powers’, did you give them to an assumed townie last night? Did you give Nigel protection on night 3?
  24. In other words, Geoffrey was grasping at straws. There is a plausible case for Timothy being scum, but not a remotely likely one. Zero proof she is town, but she claimed when she had no need to, and her claim could be counterclaimed by a townie if she were lying. She could be lying, but it’s even less likely than you being scum. you need to follow your gut if you want to root out the imperial scum.
  25. I think it’s safe to remove the label “claimed” from Patrick. He’s a jailkeeper, he led a lynch on scum. He’s 100% in my books.
